Worst experience you could encounter, I needed disc brake caliper assemblies changed on frond drive axle, the job said to be done tomorrow turned out to be 11 days long, I got upcharged 4 times in every possible way. The brake calipers for 1.7k each might you think have as well were Meritor or Bendix but turned out to be some aftermarket noname who ever guessed if they were remanufactured or new. They incrementally added service hours, but to change two assemblies should certainly not take longer than like 4-5 hours, and in no way possible 11 hours for an experienced technician with all the tools necessary. My truck broke on Sunday 7 miles away from the shop on I24e and they charged me 1k for towing (justifiable) and 500 for service call which was nothing more than came looked at my truck and spliced 10in nylon tubing on one air line which was not the route cause of my problem, then went home not saying anything particular. And this is not particularly unjustifiable arguably. I spent every business day at their shop waiting for any updates on my repair status and all I heard was "we should get it done tomorrow" for almost two weeks, while I heard from other customers that for some people they stayed overnight working on their trucks. But basically from what I heard people were able to haggle the price in favorable way after initial quota, but I was stranded by my company to handle it myself and I made mistake to let those people make repair the way they supposedly feel more appropriate while they took advantage and every other couple of days charged me more. First it was about 6k, when they found out that other side of front axle also needed to be reassembled the charge was about 8.5k which is justifiable somehow if not haggle in first place, but then in couple of days they change the quota to 10k and then again to 11.5k not including separately from towing+road call. I would not recommend to handle difficult repairs with these people because of possible upcharges if your company has their own shop or after initial bill check with someone you know to get a second opinion. Just do certainly not pay more than was initially agreed upon because it would be just another upcharge. And I am not trying to say that those people do scam no, they did repair on the truck I drive for a company but if you pay out of pocket as a company driver you will definitely feel those money that could have been saved otherwise. I was at fault in face of my company, and I always do honest work but you have to just make sure that do not eat bs some people might try to feed you, always ask for a bill/quota/invoice call it whatever you like before agreeing upon something. PS. Hotel there is not cheap, it is about 100 per night so be advised to stay in the truck is possible. PPS. I did add photos of 3/4 charges I got, one for 8.5k they wrote on stickpaper slip when they added 2.5k to existed charge of 6k. And photo of brake calipers they set up on that truck, I say other components mush have been also not OEM but some cheaper alternatives, I am not arguing about it, it is a way to negotiate price and make profit.
My truck was 11 miles from derating, called Josh and explained my predicament. He said to get to his shop and he would work it in. Excellent job and real service. I highly recommend!!!
I had a great experience with this mechanic. I came in with an air leak issue on my truck. He knew exactly what he was doing and fixed it right away. The whole job took less than an hour.

RV was losing speed last mountain was only going 20 mph stopped at a station and ask the girl working there if she knew a diesel mechanic she called Josh, he had me bring it to his shop. My high pressure fuel pump was going out , he ordered the parts and worked thru the weekend to get me back on the road Monday
Josh is one of the best mechanics you can find these days as he understands the matter of urgency and goes beyond the expectation just to get the job done. We came almost at closing time with busted waterpump for our old Freightliner, all he ask was is it urgent and when we say we have load and must keep rolling he extended his hours and get the job done ... The boss called these guys a little over a week ago when i had truck trouble after coming down the mountain. They are quick, resourceful polite and seem very knowledgeable. Within 3 hours of the initial call I was driving away. They replaced the low pressure fuel pump. Had to call them again today, they got to me in about 25 minutes. Unfortunately this time it was a bigger problem. Boss is bringing them parts and leaving it to them to fix and I'm needing a spare truck for now. I didn't see any bills so not sure what they are charging but all other aspects point to a solid trustworthy shop. Would highly recommend to anyone in need of a diesel mechanic, at least from this drivers perspective
Best shop I have ever seen! I blew up my engine on I-24 south. Towed the truck to HM truck repair. God bless Josh(owner) his wife and all his employees. He helped me find a used engine ; swapped the with Professionalism. They know what they're doing. They fix my truck and got back on the road with fair price. Later my alternator went bad and truck had over voltage when I was in Cartersville, GA. I called Josh later at night around 1am. I was over 100 miles away from the shop. Josh, the owner drove all the way and came replaced the alternator right away. I was able to get back on the road and made it on time to my pickup in Anderson, SC. I will highly recommend any truck driver to stop by to this shop if you're experiencing issues with your truck. This shop deserves more than 5 stars
ok one of the nicest people in shop what i meet so friendly I have a special oversize load army tank and my radiator blow off so Josh take me first in line no wait this means a lot to me great place decent price quick repear no b.s. they store my old radiator and even I got offer to ship for free to my company as well treatment like they own family respect guys you have a customer and friend for life 200 stars not 10 but not option

Very professional and great people to be around. I need a clutch adjustment drive axle airbag and pusher axle airbag and they worked me right in to get the work done. Prices are very fair considering I was in a rush to get the work done and Josh stands by what he quoted me for the pusher airbag. Josh, the owner was very accommodating and helped me when my truck broke down on the side of a mountain during a delivery. His guys came to pick me up and towed my truck to his shop even though it was after business hours. Josh himself drove me to a nearby hotel since I had to stay the night. These thieves still owe us $5000 we paid for the engine they never installed. Stay away from this shop, Josh is a lier. Kept our truck for almost 2 months and took parts from it while we were waiting on the engine. Stay away!
I was on my to Florida the other night and ran into some break trouble on I 24 and I called the owner Josh, who was real helpful. They were actually closed, but he invited me to park at their shop or the loves truckstop till they opened up the next morning to address my problem. Once they open, he had the guys to get right to work on my truck. The service techs were real nice and knowledgeable, real good vibes. It took every bit of an hour, and I was back on the road headed to Florida with a new pair of brake shoes and all components cleaned free from grease. And I still made my appointment time the next morning. I recommend if you need truck service/repairs and you’re in the area. This is the spot. I will be stopping back through to have service/repairs done for sure. Thanks guys!
I have been servicing trucks with Josh for more than a year. He is reliable, accepting trucks on the same day. I have had several repairs completed here, including water pump replacement, DPF cleaning, NOx sensor replacement, EGR work, and more. He works on all types of engines and has DAVE4 for Paccar, which is quite difficult to find in shops. Additionally, he provides parking for trailers and offers roadside assistance as well. This place is a complete scam. I went in for an alignment issue on my semi truck, and they didn’t fix it at all. Instead, they threw on recap/used junk tires without my permission and now want $740 for it. Total rip-off, shady business practices, and zero honesty. Avoid this shop unless you want to get robbed.
I was traveling from GA to St Louis when the tongue on my boat trailer broke. I was blessed to not have an accident. HM was there within half an hour. It took several hours for me to get back on the road, but considering the emergency situation, they were very fast, hauled my boat to their shop, took great care of us, and did a fantastic job to ensure my safety. They made me a priority. I couldn't have asked for better service.
I almost came to blows with the owner. The man is arrogant and dismissive and also clearly a hard worker and a driven person. That said the work was good and done quickly and professionally. They tack on added cost for the parts but I suppose that's their building model. This place is not cheap but they are good experienced diesel mechanics. I recommend them but don't expect a hug a teddy bear experience and bring a little money because you will need it. They will get you back on the road quickly.

Their diagnostic was incredibly thorough, and the staff took the time to explain everything clearly. I was far from home but this shop made me feel welcome as I waited to find out what was wrong with my vehicle. The owner of this shop and his family are absolutely fantastic and get the job done!
The shop was clean and welcoming, with a comfortable lounge and great AC—much appreciated while I waited. The bathrooms were super clean and there were toiletries available for customers. Everyone was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about making sure I was taken care of.

This is by far one of the worst experiences I've had with any repair shop. The owner and mechanics are extremely disrespectful and have no regard for customer service. From the moment I walked in, I was met with a bad attitude, zero professionalism, and a complete lack of transparency.
They gave me an initial quote, but after the work was done, the price mysteriously increased significantly without any explanation or approval. This kind of shady bait-and-switch tactic is completely unacceptable.
On top of that, the work quality is poor, and the place is completely disorganized. It feels like they’re just looking for ways to scam truckers who are in urgent need, and then take advantage of the situation.
If you value your time, money, and sanity — stay far away from this place. Total rip-off, zero honesty, and a horrible experience all around.
Please do yourselves a favor and avoid this shop!! It’s so frustrating when my truck was in there shop from 03/17/22-03/21/22 and didn’t do the job right and have me stuck on the side of the road in Boston MA Especially if you paid 3,080.59$ have to pay that and more. Please Run away from this shop!! I posted the pictures of the damages done.
This is an amazing place to have your truck repair. Prices are great very honest and trustworthy shop. They tell you up front what your looking at for repairs. Josh and his mechanics are old school mechanics with all the updated equipment. The family has been great to me had a cam box replaced was here for little while do to some part issues not due to them freightliner issues. They always made sure I had what I needed. I would highly suggest you make him one of your regular mechanics to do your work. Thanks HM truck repair I really appreciate you all.
Let me tell you how coming down the mountain my check eng light came up and the headaches started .thanks to HM truck repairs I was able to get back on the road. With great prices family warmness and the amazing staff this is a place I highly recomend. Put it this way. I live in Miami and the only person touching my truck is them.they also have space to park while they are getting your money train back on the road
