Love the location. Happy is such a nice outgoing guy. I enjoy seeing the truck scale lady back. Joannie I think her name is. I have missed her. She’s so good at the scale compared to the others she gets us in and out which is convenient. I wish she was always there. The steel yard guys are also great. Will be revisiting.
Love this place, very nice, Joanie and Alexis at the window are my favorite they're sweet and helpful and happy at the scrap pile actually helps my husband and doesn't just watch if he's struggling. Best scrap prices in Knoxville.
While I was waiting for help, I was passed by 3 employees. Who just ignored me until Happy came right out when he seen me. He greeted me with giant smile and was there helping me until I left. His personality reflects his name! I’d like to say thanks again Happy you made that experience easy and awesome!

I had a great experience at SA Metals. The staff was incredibly friendly and super helpful from start to finish. Recycling can sometimes feel overwhelming as a woman alone, but they made the entire process easy and stress-free.
I especially want to give a shoutout to Happy — he truly lived up to the name! Happy went above and beyond to help me unload and put a smile on my face. It’s rare to find customer service this good these days.

The Window ladies are exceptional. Handsome Dave and Ken are not only professional, but they're good guys that give you that hometown welcome feel. Which is something we have strayed to far from over the years.
Excellent crew out there right now! Location has always offered a competitive price and the tools to get unloading done right but having a hard working and helpful team makes a noticable difference. The ladies in the scale house are always so pleasant! Ken and David are great! I don't know all the people's names from non-ferrous but really appreciate their service through the bump and grind of some often busy, tough days. Got a hype man out there now named "Happy" and it's nice to be greeted with a friendly smile at a scrapyard. Thanks a lot, everyone!

I created this account for this sole purpose to thank everyone at SA Recycling for being so kind. From the lady at the window and especially to the young man in your steel pile that looks like he is in his 20s but found out he was in his mid 30s. That man is extremely extraordinary for helping me out and other customers. I watched him take a truck bed off an older gentlemans truck, watched him unloaded heavy material from a another man's trailer and push a suv for a lady. If this young man isn't making the most money what are you doing with him? He helped me unload my vehicle and was generous the whole time even tellingme to have a nice day and weekend. Excellent service and will be coming back because of Ken!
I had a very difficult and varied load of metal today and the staff was very patient and went way beyond their normal routine to make sure every thing was taken care of. Very good employees!
My experience with SA recycling was a totally unexpected and welcomed part of my day. The staff was knowledgeable, informative, and appeared to love what they do. I was surprised to learn of the many perks of doing business with SA, payout was more than I was expecting, so I'll go see them again for sure, thanks guys great work as a team!

The girl at the scale for the steel yard is so unprofessional. I went to get my license back and accidentally touched her hand and she flipped out saying eww don't ever touch me like that again. It was purely an accident but she caused a scene jumping around and hollering over it.
I usually don't write bad reviews. All staff were friendly and professional except for the rude lady in the office, Disa D. So unprofessional and rude.
I’ve never my entire life been treated so bad from a business. The scale house worker is obnoxiously rude for no reason. And the guy working where the pile of junk goes was just as bad. I left and didn’t let them have anything from me. I will never go back. Take a look at my review history I never leave bad reviews. But could not let this one slide
Do you self a favor and take your business somewhere else . They are rude and treat their customers poorly. I will never go back . They are nothing like pcs was . They all act like they hate there jobs
don’t be intimidated, they will help you along. very regular and friendly group of folks, by far one of the most professional and correct scrapyards around!
Not a bad place to be loaded. Weight before and after loading. Have to back up into narrow place to reach the dock. The main thing: they load without skids, be careful if your trailer brand like new.
