Tried to sell my car to these people and the girl hung up in my face and wouldn’t answer the phone when I called back - was rude as all get out and not a professional attitude at all

No stars, receptionist Vickie is horrible and when She realized She made a mistake and did not coordinate a scheduled pick up time She got angry, called Me rude and hung up, after calling My phone back to back 4 times, as I told Her I work in the hospital, I can't pick the phone up anytime and I can't just leave anytime...and My employer heard Her filthy mouth (in the back ground) when Someone else called back, She needs some phone etiquette and customer service training, She must be part owner, thank God this company isn't the only solution out there.
Had an outstanding experience with Junk Car Mafia. I live out of town and my daughter's car gave out in Knoxville. I contacted Vicki at Junk Car Mafia and she was very helpful and worked with me to navigate the complexities of my situation. They retrieved the car and allowed me time to mail the title to my daughter, who delivered it to them days later. They were kind and responsive to my many phone calls. I highly recommend!
Called three times over three days and got the cold shoulder then I read the reviews and they openly admit they won’t answer the phone for someone without a Knoxville number lol and I was recommended this place .
I called Junk Car Mafia 11:30 a.m. on a Saturday and by 1:30 p.m. they gave me a courtesy call and was picking up the truck. Was very professional paid me cash. And The vehicle was out of the driveway.
I don't see where all these negative reviews are from. Could be from competitors. I really don't know Reading them. I was kind of skeptical of contacting them but I'm glad I did.

They say they pay the highest cash. I scraped a little SUV earlier.today at A place that was closer to me. and got almost $500 offered to sell them. A 22 foot box truck Complete with the aluminum box and weighs 20 times what that car weighs and they offered me 500 bucks and sid that was the most lol What a joke. I was only using them because it was closer to where the truck was sitting. The other company is going to go and pick it up and hr away and giving me 1800 for it.People do not use this place. They are ripping you off. If they did this to me they are doing it to you. Definitely call around And check prices before you make a decision I mean, I would get it if it was only a 100 or so different but well over a $1000 difference. People please do your research Don't get ripped off.
Worst company ever. I scheduled a vehicle to be picked up. They never showed or called. Called them they said they would be here next morning, didn't show and again no call. The they blocked my number. I then went online got another company. Don't use this company. The woman I felt with was rude and I had to repeat my information several times. Acted as though she didn't care if she got my business.
Had to get rid of our vehicle,sadly. CJ was excellent from the beginning & all I came in contact with were great! Made a bad situation much better! Thank you!
I’ve now had two bad experiences with this company, albeit indirectly. First time one of their drivers nearly ran me off the road while he was texting and driving, second time I heard one of their drivers yell a racial slur out his window at a gentleman commuting to work on a bicycle.
Great place with great service. I live right down the street from them and I have to admit, when I first started seeing the hearse with Junk Car Mafia on the windshield around my neighborhood, I thought it was a joke. It would crack me up every time I saw it out and about, but jokes on all these other scrap car places, bc they are doing the damn thing. I love to see small business thrive after starting small with basically nothing. My vehicle broke down at a gas station, the busiest one and the one most frequented by cops on Rutledge Pike so I was afraid they would call Dan's to tow it. If you've ever dealt with Dans then you know how financially devasting that would have been for a single mom and full time student.( Its almost $500 just for them to hook up and drive it thru their gate.) A family friend called CJ and asked him to bring my truck home and even tho that's not really what they do, he had it picked up and brought to me for extremely cheap. I also called them a couple years later when the same vehicle had its last run and was towed by fountain City. They came right out and paid me for my truck and towed it out of their lot. Great place to do business. So what if they aren't all bubbly and run a little late sometimes, they are hard working grease monkeys that tend to be a little rough around the edges. What matters is that they do good fair business and won't screw you over.
Called them yesterday. Got a call back almost immediately. Gave a brief description of the car and got an offer. This morning, a tow truck was here to pick up the car, cash in hand. Driver was very professional and courteous. Totally recommend.
They tell you over phone $400 if motor and trans is there. Then first thing driver does is lift car check for catalytic converters then calls his boss and then drops the price. I'd rather take straight to the crusher myself they to deal with these jerks

I called because my Camry was broken beyond my abilities to fix her. The gentlemen I dealt with were awesome. No they didn’t answer right away when I called, but they did call back. They gave me a better deal then most. They were all professional and nice. I look forward to the derby this fall. Need a junk car removed give them a call! Great customer service. I called on Saturday to get the car picked up. He told me it would be Monday. They called to let me know where we were on the list and approximate time. The driver called letting us know he was on way. He arrived arrived was courteous and friendly. It was a simple transaction with the money quoted given to us originally. I recommend them for a junk car removal. My neighbor called them immediately for a car removal due to the customer service and price given to us. Great experience all the way around.

Only minor complaint is that it seems like only one guy takes phone calls, so if he's busy you'll have to try again later because you can't leave a voice-mail. Otherwise excellent work done all around. Friendly and professional over the phone and in person. Driver showed up on time, got my vehicle loaded quickly, paperwork was easy, and of the six companies I called in the area, I was offered the most with these guys. Definitely going to use these guys in the future if the need arises.
