Worst towing company ever. I called Cedar Bluff Towing four times, and each time they said they would arrive in about an hour and 45 minutes. It’s now been over two hours, and nobody showed up.
When I called again, they acted like they didn’t even know who I was — even though I had already given them all my information. This company has no organization, no respect for people’s time, and no care for their clients.
I sincerely hope they improve or shut down, because time is precious, and they clearly don’t value it. They need to pay more attention to who they hire, because whoever is managing these calls is not doing their job right.
These people along with the officer listed our car as tan and for 3 day lied about having the car. The car is silver how the get tan out of silver is crazy. I reported it to the sheriff's office and instead of correcting this issue it appears retaliation is the choice. Don't trust these people because while the are lying to you the price is going up. $925 to get the car all over a big fat lie they made. I had to call the police to find we're the car was towed. When did they start messing over the families. I am not responsible for other people actions. Just sad. Always go down and see for yourself if they have your car they will put it under a different description then after a little time take your property. Sounds like a scam.
Cedar Bluff towing came out to tell my vehicle, However, they damaged my vehicle bumper. Have complete evidence of everything and Sent over all the footage showing their DRIVER be know it all and Damaging my front bumper, and then states to the owner that it was from the previous person which is a complete lie, and I have a full video of it
showing the full tow. On top of it, it was all wheel car drive and he was damaging my drivetrain. All on video and all I wanted them to fix my front bumper damage. Denying claim is crazy this is not the way to treat a customer on top of it. Their manager is not reaching out to me. At the moment, talking with my lawyer, most likely will go after them for everything at this point And having the shop check it out because the shop Owner was also there and watched it. Make sure you guys always talk to a lawyer when stuff like this happens glad my lawyer was able to help. I have all the time and money to go after people like these Run a damn business right. DO NOT TOW WITH THEM
These folks are amazing. Came very quickly and were kind and reassuring in a stressful situation with a flat tire on the side of the highway. Great company!!
Thank you so much for getting me home safely! Breaks my heart that I cannot remember the guy's name that towed my car from Alcoa highway to Rutledge, but absolutely fantastic service. Very respectful and just an all around good experience during an unfortunate event!
I had these guys tow my boat trailer that the wheel bearings had went out in and when I called I received a text message 30 minutes later which was 3:30 PM telling me their arrival time would be 4:30 PM. My driver sit with the trailer and waited until 7 PM and they still have not showed up so he left. When he left the trailer, tires were in perfectly good shape. I get a call from the repair center where the trailer was delivered and they said it was dropped off with the sidewall cut out of the tire. So when I called the tow company to ask about my tire being cut, they said they didn’t do it and I said well was it cut when you got there? They put me on a two minute hold and then said yes it was cut when we got there which I know is 100% false. No one is gonna come along the side of the interstate get out and slash a tire within 30 minutes of their arrival time, but had they been there 4 1/2 hours like they said they would be they couldn’t lie like they are now! And that’s the worst not only was the service 4 hours late,, tire cut during tow but the biggest issue is that they lied about doing it! I got no use for dishonest business and these guys TOW PRO CEDAR BLUFF TOWING ARE NOT HONEST!
AND THEY CHARGED ME $600 to tow 5 miles!
Rough night! But Cedar Bluff Towing saved us. I called customer service a few times and the woman that answered was very kind and helpful. Tyler, I hope I spelled his name right, came to our rescue and got us out of a rather tricky situation with our car. He was amazing! Kind, experienced and efficient. Son car was towed after an accident and they would not release it when Insurance company ask for it to be released. Keep it for four days and charged 1K.
If I every need another car towed you can bet that it want be these guys.
Will start with the good - driver was great and tow went fine.
Now for the bad, and also why we will never use this company for a tow again. Hubby’s truck broke down around 2pm this afternoon. He called this company first as they were nearby and was told they would be there “within the hour.”
They didn’t show up for THREE HOURS. Hubby called them more than once for an ETA and was lied to each time.
He was also told over the phone that the tow would cost $125. When he was dropped off, the driver tried to charge him $161. That was for a 5-mile tow.
Overall, these people don’t run an ethical business and you’d be better off calling anyone else for help. Their bad reviews speak for themselves.

I was in a wreck about a week ago and this company was called to tow my vehicle. I had been driving for 50 years and this was my first accident. We called to see about hours to access my vehicle and were told two different things about what time they were open and when we could accessmy car. Next they lost my key, neglected to give me the necesary paperwork, and were difficult to contact to have the car towed to a collision place.
Avoid avoid avoid if you can. My husband had his car towed here after a wreck and tried to call same day to arrange to get the car moved asap.
They about hung up on him answering every question with "call your insurance and have them handle this".
They were going to change an additional $600 to move our car to a repair shop, which insurance felt was way too much. Insurance made the decision to have the car moved through a different tow company due to this.
We had confirmation that the car was paid for and cleared to move from this tow yard. And then my husband received a letter claiming this storage fee was unpaid and we owed this. Despite the fact that this is all supposed to dealt with through insurance, not us! And we had confirmation on the phone with the tow yard if this being cleared!
Save yourself from this greedy business
I used them through Tow Pro. My dispatcher was Nathan who was very helpful and prompt! My driver was Ryan who was super cool and worked very quickly. Overall im very impressed and will be using them again if the need arises.
I was broken down in the middle of the night and gave Cedar Bluff Towing a call for help. The initial dispatcher I spoke to was very kind and helpful. I thought it was all good and taken care of so I went home and went to sleep. I then got awaken by a phone call from a lady named Jessica screaming and demanding more money and threatening to impound my car if I didn't pay them immediately because apparently I kept them waiting since I wasn't answering their calls at 1am. I tried to explain that I had no money left and she said she would be nice enough to give me 5 minutes to call back with the additional. I had to wake up my mom and get money sent over to pay this lady that I've seen has been mentioned in other bad reviews. Would definitely not recommend them at all, it was the worst experience to top off an already bad night.
Cedar Bluff Towing provided me with much needed tow from Cleveland, TN to Knoxville, TN on Thanksgiving. No car repair shops were open. They went above and beyond to get my family and SUV home. We had the most kind and courteous driver. I will use Cedar Bluff Towing from now on. They are the best!
If I could give this towing company zero stars I would. I called at 6:15 am and was told someone would be there to help me within an hour. I waited until 8:14 and called back asking where they were. I was told the employee stopped for gas and would be there within 30 mins. Thankfully a random man in a pickup truck stopped and was able to change my tire in 5 mins. When I got back in my car, I got a call back from the towing company saying they could not find me. I gave them the exit number, around how many feet I was from the exit, what kind of car I have, and that I was pulled off into the left shoulder when I initially called at 6:15 am. I asked for a refund and was told that I would only be able to get half back if any of my money back. ($235) Terrible communication. Waste of my money.
Had a load to shift. Was dispatched to have the load fixed here. Everything was going ok, I thought until the guy working asked what to do with the damages? Company policy is to deliver and allow the receiver to determine what to do with the damages. So, I told the guy to put them back in the trailer. He appeared to get upset saying that the company wouldn't take them BECAUSE they were damaged. I told him I couldn't make that call. So, he put the damages in the back of the trailer loose. It was not until I complained that a few boxes and a pallet were used.... Unsecured. Up until this happened I guess things were going fine.
This is a reliable company. They gave me an estimate of $125 for the mileage required, and they stuck to that. They showed up in the time frame they said they would. The driver was really kind and helpful and even was able to back our towed "project" car down a inclined driveway and left parked perfectly. Ryan was our technician and we highly recommend!!
Jonathan was my driver and he did a great job transporting my vehicle and making sure it was loaded and unloaded without a scratch. Timeliness was amazing, i didn’t have to wait at all for my service and he was a very nice and respectful guy. The only complain i would have is the company that bought them out “Tow Pro” charges a ton more for the service compared to before. $166 for 18 miles is crazy, but i needed to get it done. We use cedar bluff with Land Rover a lot and i’m surprised that tow pro would charge so much.
This company is very unprofessional! They dropped off my car in the middle of the road. Blocking in the garage and several other cars the mechanic was trying to work on. He was so upset about it he told me to go elsewhere even though I had no way of even knowing about it. When I called I was told they would take it 5 min down the road to another mechanic I know. I was told they would get right on it and the female even made a statement after asking if this was in Knoxville saying “go figure”. She promised to get it done right away and I wasn’t to be charged. Well I call the dealership just over a week later since I hadn’t heard from them only to be told that the car isn’t there! I was furious. It only took me that long to realize it because I had been moving all week and I knew this mechanic would be backed up and contact me asap. When I called CB towing they said they had gone and got the car back because of non payment and were holding it at their lot! They were so rude, inconsiderate, non apologetic, and hung up on me! Saying the only way I could get my car back is to pay them again! They lied saying they had never agreed to do it for free. Just appalled and disgusted. I have had so much else going on in my life including my Dad dying suddenly and having to move home to help my Mom and now this really hit a nerve. I would’ve never used them again after the way they dropped it off in the first place if they hadn’t agreed to “make it right” and do their job. I would’ve called another company before giving them another $100+ for 5 mile tows. They clearly don’t care one bit about the client, repeat business, and or just doing the right thing and keeping your word. Please pass the word around as this is not a good company! It’s just the way they went about everything and the rude behavior and lies at this point.
I was in a helluva mess. Blew the engine of my car trying to get my dog to the ER. I needed a tow to get home after losing my dog. On a day when nothing went right, these guys helped me get back home to start putting pieces back together.
The man they sent out was nice and friendly. Backed in my very tight driveway to pick up a vehicle with extreme precision. Wow!
The time he took to get the job done, didn't block traffic long at all.

I didn't sut on the road for more than an hour during rush hour traffic in Knoxville off I-40. Driver was quick, professional, and seen that I was taken care of being from out if town. Would highly recommend. Thank you!
I have used these guys three times now and I highly recommend them. Why? Because they are honest and cared about me. Two years ago they got me and my car out of a ditch in the snow and made sure that I wasn't injured or cold as they got my car to my house and gave me a ride. On December 26th they were honest in that they couldn't get to my car and told me that it wouldn't be until the next day at the earliest. They made sure that I was ok. On December 27th, 2022 they told me that it wouldn't be until the afternoon when the ice had melted a bit, got to my car, and when another guy ran off the road into my car they witnessed everything and had him call me about all of it. They got his car taken care of, my car to my house, and today on December 29th they got my car from my house to the body shop needed to be used by insurance. Now, were they able to give me a perfect estimate on times down to the minute? No, but they told me the few hours time frame and they were there. Were they able to give me rough estimates on how much a tow would cost over the phone before they saw what kind of shape it was in for themselves? Yes. Did they stay true to that estimate over the phone? Yes. Did they give me paper and email receipt copies when I asked for them. Yes. Did they always call me back? Yes. Did they always knock on my door and confirm things with me? Yes. Highly recommend them! I'm not the greatest with names, but I'm pretty sure that Pete helped me a lot over the past few days with my car. Thank you!!!
Tim from Cedar Bluff towing was amazing! He took great care of our vehicle! His passion for his work shows. No shortcuts taken. Truly impressed with his professionalism and patience. Would give them 10 stars if I could! The app was great and easy to use. The easiest request for service and help. GOOD JOB AAA!!

This is going to take awhile. CBT towed a vehicle with valid tags. The complex agreed to release the vehicle. CBT has denied knowing about the agreement and has lied numerous times. The lies were recorded. We won the court case. CBT towing appealed it. One would think if you were wrong you'd have integrity to correct it. After all this is done. I'll go into this at length,pictures of documentation and media if the upload allows. There might even be a link to the media file. Consumers need to be informed and warned.
