The manager with the fake muscles, refused to accept a return I had brought in on the basis of claiming his “employees would not sell a part in the shape that this part was in.”. When in fact they had. I know this because I was there. I bought the part. He said he would go to the back and check the cameras to verify, something that happened over a month ago. So I sat and waited over an hour for him to remember that I was still there and lied to my face, saying he watched the video footage basically calling me a liar and refusing to give me my money back for a faulty part. It was rude and offensive and inconsiderate. The fact that he lied about having checked the footage thusly having the gall to call me a liar in the process was insulting. Taking over an hour of my time was rude and
inconsiderate. The business model itself is fine I guess, but the manager (Juan? Jose? Idk) is garbage.

Lkq is my new favorite spot when I need parts and it's all thanks to Omar. That man is very helpful and he always looking out for the customers and since he started there is more organized in the yard is a lot cleaner. We don't have to trip over parts and he's always on his feet hardly and he's office overlooking the customers overlooking the employees. LKQ did good putting the right man in the right spot if you ever have an issue just talk to him and he'll make it
Drove a hour today to buy a radiator fan assembly for a silverado. Found one and removed yo get to the counter and they wanted over 120 bucks for it! Then I said I can buy it cheaper on ebay or Amazon and they replied like they didnt want my businesses and said we'll thats for a guarantee. I come all the time but these prices have done nothing but go through the roof.
The treatment of the employees is not good at all, nor customer service! I tried to sell a car and I was more than 5 hours waiting for a supposed call to come pick up the car and they never arrived and I called many times and they told me that they was already coming and that I was already coming and they never arrived, a desertion!
I’ve recently visited this location looking for my car door, since it’s the only place I could find the door at. I had been assisted nicely at the entrance, even asked if the door I was going to get was going to be intact in the back and if there would be a way for me to try it on my car and if didn’t fit for any reason I could bring it back and get my money back, the guy assisting us said yes that was possible and so we payed to walk in. On the way out we were very poorly assisted and misinformed, once again we asked the same guy assisting us at the entrance if there was a chance to bring back the door back and get the money back and not only did he say yes but also said we were also being charged separately for the mirror, glass window, and inside door panel. Clearly this made me upset hearing this new information but I still wanted the door. I then asked the same question once again, can I take the door and try it on my car and if doesn’t fit can I return it and get my money back, the guy said yes and that I had 30 days to do so. I was never asked if I wanted to get any warranty for the door and it’s pieces at all. Once I got home I checked the receipt and noticed I was charged and extra $10 going toward every piece on the door sold separately by them, labeled as warranty. I went back the next day to return the side view mirror and receipt. I asked for them to take the warranty off all the pieces I had bought and for my money back on the mirror and they continuously told me that they sell the pieces with warranty and if I had wanted them without warranty I should’ve asked them to take it off, when I clearly asked multiple times before hand if it came with warranty so I wouldn’t pay for a warranty. They later said they would sell them without the warranty if I had asked for a discounted price on the pieces. They not only spreed miss-information but also were not willing to accept their wrongs and find another way to solve this issue me the “customer” had with them.
OMAR the Manager at Lkq pick up Part in my opinion is the best thing that ever happened to this place it’s all nice organized and clean. The guy works with all businesses takes care of all the customers and he’s always on top of everything. I don’t think everyone in there if he wasn’t running around watching all the employees and make sure all the customers are taken care of I quit doing business with Lkq for a while until they caught him in there now I’m back purchasing parts almost every day from that place positive attitude in taking care of customer and things cause a long way nowadays Lkq did the right thing when they hired him as a manager at the yard
I've been hitting these local Nashville junkyards for years and PYP, formerly LKQ and they're the best when it comes to having complete pictures, VIN, later year cars than some of the others. Their prices are a little on the high side compared to the others but if you frequent here enough you'll get to know the guys and Omar will take care of ya.
Place was really easy to work with came and picked up my car no issues at all and paid me what they said they were gonna pay me picked my car up within 48 hours of calling too
Used to be a good yard, back in the day, it was simply LKQ Parts, they did some weird green rebrand, started charging 5 bucks to get in, and then got the sleeziest and most sketchy manager I have ever encountered. I went in with two friends, mind you, that's 15 bucks alone in entry for us three... We found an intake manifold from a Lexus, so we bring it to the pay place, and the hawk manager is eyeing every little part: injectors, throttle body.. etc. nickel and diming...all of a sudden, the intake manifold that any yard would charge 50-100 bucks for normally, has just skyrocketed to 400 dollars somehow.. So my friend argues and he says "okay we can do 200" brother what? Such a weird yard. Absolutely avoid.
We drove 4 hrs from Dalton,Ga to buy a Toyota Tundra transmission which their website showed was in stock. We get there and paid for 3 people to get in just to leave empty handed. The Toyota Tundra listed on the website didnt have an engine or transmission in it.
Clean yard with a large inventory, however they are triple the price of other yards, on top of their inflated upfront cost, they price gouge at checkout. Making you pay for a 30 day warranty when other yards do this for free inventory fees ect. It turns the $40 part into 65 at checkout. Just buy off of eBay
I had a quote done by this company and they advised me for 2 days that they would come out to pick up my vehicle. There was communication going back and forth through they're call center that had no way to contact the local office at all other than an email 2 days that I had to take off of work at least a half a day and still nothing has been done I would not recommend them for anything!!!
Was searching online for a good place to get some used parts. I like pick a parts, and need a alternator for my car. However after reading all the reviews, I will not be wasting a second of my time at this place. They seem to be a very sketchy, untrustworthy company to say the least. I read reviews before I visit any company. These kinda companies are exactly the reason I do.
Drove from MI to get rust free fenders & this is by far one of the better auto salvage yard. Very organized, and helpful. Everything is tagged and all vehicles had a location.
I went to this place for the first time visiting from Mobile Alabama after I left the Pull-A-Part on centennial because somebody referred me to this place. Upon arriving I forgot to take my parts that I bought from the other boulevard out of my toolbox but the guy working at the counter told me to go ahead and go on the yard I went on the yard bought what I needed they checked my toolbox discovered that I forgot to take my parts out and made me pay for them even though I didn't get them from their yard. Not recommend this yard to anyone they looked at me like I was a thief because I was a black man with a nice toolbox and I probably full of money I have no reason to steal if I could give it zero Stars I would
Charging $350 for a used torque converter because you assume no one will buy the transmission without it is absolutely stupid when most new or remanufactured torque converters are less than half the cost of a used one here. Not to mention all the work that goes into removing one is insane. This'll be my last time coming here and I'll make sure not to recommend any LKQ location ever again. And now they charge $5 per person just to get in. Went from $2 to $3 to $5. This is ridiculous.
$5 dollars to get in? You may or may not find what you looking for so why is the entry fee $5 when every where else it’s $2 in the parts pricing is ridiculous because I got a grill. I used one that is Myself because I went and got it myself and check out it was like 60 something around that price range in the 60s and later that day I checked online it was 52 so I basically got ripped off for a used part And And money to go and get it when I could’ve just got a brand new one online ordered right to my door and I was looking for a valvebody they said it was $250 plus tax that’s a pull it yourself now and no warranty no exchange no return so basically right tells you that hey buddy we are screwing you over in every way possible we always knew that but now you know it too so how desperate are you for the part well I say screw that it’s the same price online for a new one that I don’t have to take out myself and other places have it for $32 including tax so if you want why it’s always not busy there Those Are two of the reasons I gave you ridiculous absolutely outrageous.
This use to be a nice first class ran U pull it. Now it’s a joke. Walk in to the manager cussing out a customer. Overpriced $5 entry. Overpriced parts. Go to checkout and get berated because I didn’t have a stock number. It’s a U pull it; not full service. Half the parts you might find are laying on the ground….. Nashville take your business to Express u pull it or pull a part!
I got charge for a warranty on a Fender. What do I need with a warranty on a fender. Make sure you let them know you don't want a warranty. Check out clerk didnt ask if I wanted a warranty he just added it on his own. Still a great place to go for auto parts. I bought the convertible top for my convertible from them.
