They are not lady friendly. They will take men ahead of you and make you wait. Also will give men better price than women. I've experienced this 1st hand, and git tired if it.

Keasler's is a very friendly scrap yard with the owner being a nice guy talks to everyone and the employees do a fantastic job keeping the yard cleaned up free of anything that could damage vehicle. Check them out you won't be disappointed. Fair pricing amazing people
I’ve used Keasler multiple times over the years. It’s basically Disneyland for people who own angle grinders. It’s where you take the stuff that won’t sale on marketplace.
Keasler inc. Is by far the best recycle center i have dealt with in 20+ years. The staff is professional, knowledgeable and can answer any question you may have. They are organized and keep things moving,you can get in unload get your money and be on your way quickly. I recommend them to everyone.

When me and a buddy of mine arrived we told the guy who came to us that we had two ACs and one microwave to be scrapped. It was written down on a piece of paper then handed off to an employee named Jason when we were ready to unload. We had three ACs in the car. One in the trunk was fixed up and ready to be sold to a friend.
As we were about to unload we had to back up out of the way of a truck coming in which we did. When we did the same employee Jason had gone into the trunk of my car which we didn't give him authorization to do. We told him to leave the one alone since he had already taken another out of the trunk.
When we got to our friends house to deliver the AC we noticed the panel had been ripped off and the motherboard was broken. When we went back to tell them they said there was nothing they could do. They said it was "their policy" that they are not responsible for breaking anything. These "policies" are not stated on their website. They said they are used to helping customers unload but they still aren't responsible.
Nobody had authorization to go inside my personal vehicle and start touching things. I had a buddy of mine with me and he was helping unload everything to be scrapped and recycled. Nobody needed to help because I had help. Not to mention you're never supposed to start going through someone's personal property without asking permission anyway.
Beware this place. Don't let them near your vehicle and if you do allow them to touch or go inside your vehicle to help pay close attention to them to make sure they do not break or steal anything. They will not give you any sort of compensation what so ever.
In December 2024 I went here and told them that it was my first time, and the guy who helped me was extremely patient in explaining where to go and what to do. I only ended up with $100 worth of an assortment of metal but I feel like I was treated like a regular customer who brings them a lot more stuff.
Finished cleaning out house andboutside from old tenants got there at 430pm just before they close and they had me in and out in about 15mins real nice guys that woek there and they pay decent. Definitely going there again next time
A business that takes care of their customers! Got there close to closing time (hated to do) and the guy that took care of us was as nice as he could be. You rarely get that, especially at close! Will be back again and again!!
Always been treated fair. Great place to make some money. Take your junk metal and they give you cash. No one does that. Great place good people owner and all the employees have treated me fair. Always take my scrap here.
The old man was rude to my fiancé. We have never had a car scrapped before so we wasn’t sure of all the rules and such. My fiancé is a grown man he had no right talking to him like that. It couldn’t of been me.
Have taken several loads of scrap to these folks over the past few months. I like that they pay in green paper and shiny coins. Other than being the busiest scrap place around, they do extremely well in getting you unloaded, paid and out the door. Prices are usually the best around.
My second time going to a scrapyard and this one pays the most in the area. I felt safe today, however my back hurts from unloading the scrap. Oh well, guess I should not complain!!! After looking at some of the other reviews and thinking a little more about the environment that these employees have to endure everyday from criminals, etc., I'm updating my review. In my opinion, this is the most honest and decent place you can go to and make a little money at the same time.
I went there with bright and bare copper and the guy quoted 2.50 lb and .50¢ lb for spaghetti wire. So went to the scrap yard in Chattanooga and got 3.80 for bare bright and 2.50 for spaghetti wire these guys are grade A crooks.the drive to Chattanooga is well worth it. NEVER go here
The man at the scales was extremely rude cussed at me many times. An employee (ED) was very helpful and kind! He apologized for his co-workers behavior and said he’d tell his boss. Unfortunately for them I will not be back after doing business with them for years. SMR will have my business for many years to come.
Very unprofessional and rude. Would highly not recommend. Said they were no longer going to have my business after they damaged my trailer. Keep in mind I am a customer multiple times a week bringing in alot of weight. Mr. Vega the manager has extreme anger issues and is in no position to be in management in his state of mind.! KEASLER lived up to his reputation of a bad business owner as well by not doing the right thing and treating his loyal customers like trash. The audacity of these people is just mind blowing. ...
I have been there 10 times or so in the past few years. It’s be very busy and crowed. Very difficult to get in and out of. Most the employees are fine to deal with however the older man who I believe is the owner is extremely rude. Everyone has bad days but after countless negative experiences with him, I will not be going back. Also always concerned about getting broken glass in my tires when I go.
been here a few times over the last couple years. always been friendly and fair. have a load of copper and just general scrap ill be taking up there sometime this week and was looking at website to get the hours and saw all the good comments and thought I'd leave one too. always been happy when I leave there and expect my upcoming visit to be jist as good!
They used to be great, think they got greedy and dropped the recycle price of aluminum can. They used to pay .50 a lb, dropped it to .35 a lb. So the last time we recycled cans we were expecting about $100. Instead only got $60. Big difference and we felt screwed over. Next time we will definitely price check everybody. Changed my rating from 4 stars to 2
