Attention College kids. Do not go to this Auto Zone. My 18 year old daughter visited to have antifreeze added and got very little help. She had to ask 2 older men to please help and they still refused to assist. They just verbally told a girl what to do and it could have been a disaster. When someone is asking for help please have some compassion. And it’s a business and customer service should be standard.
My son came in to check and possible purchase a new battery. The employee would not help him check his car, sent him in and out to check on things himself and then made fun of him to the other workers. This is in a college town- students are their biggest clients and parents trust their children’s car will be taken care of. Don’t send your student to this location.
If I could leave a 0 star review I would. I needed a new battery for my car and right off the bat was rude. I wanted to go to autozone because I knew, well thought, they would be knowledgeable and helpful, they weren’t that at all. I asked the man to take a look at my battery and simply look my car up. I went to go check something in my car that he needed and walked back in hearing him and his coworker making fun of me and called me stupid. So I just left, can’t believe that a grown man at his age would act like a child.
D.J. And David were very knowledgeable and courteous. My daughters cars check engine light came on and they diagnosed it for me in under 5 minutes. I highly recommend this location for any of your auto part needs.
Very rude and hateful when I wanted to return unused/unneeded irwms bought from this store about a week before. Seneca location refused to accept the items since I had bought these items. I had the original receipt at both locations. This is the very reason I never shop at the Seneca store and now will never darken the doors of either Auto Zone.
Sold me a faulty alternator. I bought the alternator the FIRST WEEK OF OCTOBER. I went back trying to claim my warranty and they did absolutely nothing for me. Said my phone number wasn’t in the system. I showed them the charge on my bank system. They said with no phone number they couldn’t do anything for me. The old lady is the one who sold it to me. She also admitted to selling a faulty starter to someone the day before. I am EXTREMELY disappointed in Auto Zone. O’Reilleys in Pendleton helped me so much with everything. I saw online that this happens pretty often with Auto Zone. You give them your phone number when purchasing and then all of a sudden they can’t find it in the system. Place is a RIP OFF.
Unfortunately now they have 2 ppl working who can't change a headlight .The kid at the counter was VERY BUSY ON HIS PHONE though !
They were amazing. I had lost all my headlights. That night and had to drive there with no headlights from five guys. The guy came out and was out there for 30 minutes. Almost trying to get my headlights working. There was another employee in the store. Then they let me park it there until the morning without fear of towing. In clemson you know that's a big deal. Went to get my battery and alternator tested after I had to get my car jumped off earlier that morning. The guy who helped me (I think his name was Steven or Stevenson) was friendly and helpful. He also changed the air filter for me. Thanks!
Just had the best experience at AutoZone in Clemson. The store manager helped me work through a big issue I was having with my car battery. My understanding is he is going to be retiring soon. Too bad, this store will miss him for sure. Anywho, the Clemson autozone has my business from now on. Thanks guys.
I use this location as a commercial account for my business, I have nothing but positive things to say about Michael ( the commercial manager ), as well as Kali, and Richard, as well as the many others that I work with. This store has been a pinnacle to my success at my own store, and I'd just like to take a second to recognize the people that have helped me along the way. I must admit I have obtained a bias for AutoZone, but it's simply because of how I am treated as a customer, that much is the most important part.
The manager was incredibly helpful and she even helped me bring my purchase out to my car. I will only be coming back to this place as long as I am in Clemson. Not to mention the 10% discount for Clemson students.
The service that my daughter received was great. All of the employees were very nice and helped her figure out that her battery was dead. They ran a test and then put a new battery in her car! Great place!
This AutoZone was extremely helpful! After checking output of my battery and alternator, the Manager, Mark, helped me buy an alternator and connected me with a local mechanic who came to my car same day. The employees were friendly and helpful, and I would absolutely return to this store.
This AutoZone location is a national treasure. The manager Mark set me up with an awesome local mechanic that picked up the appropriate alternator, brought it to where I was stuck, and got me back on the road that same SUNDAY afternoon! Best auto parts store anywhere. Thank you. I'm so glad god brought you into my SUV.
Definitely didn’t expect to fry my alternator on my 6.0 and explode both of my battery’s late at night, but William and Thomas at the AutoZone stepped in and saved my tail. Awesome customer service and didn’t leave until they knew I had everything I needed. Highly recommend if you want to break down somewhere make it there ?
I would give more stars just for the helpful gentlemen working the later shift. Though being treated like a peasant for returning a faulty battery doesn't sit too well. When a store sells you something bad. It's usually common practice to replace or give a refund for the faulty equipment. When I did this I was treated with a condescending demeanor and as though I were some miscreant who didn't know how to think for themselves. I won't be shopping for auto supplies there again.
Mark helped me choose windshield wipers for my car, and then installed them for me in the 95 degree heat. He went above and beyond and represented himself and AutoZone with the best customer service anyone could hope for. I am now a loyal AutoZone customer! Thank you Mark!
Donald is great! He was a younger guy in his 20’s. I hope I got his name right. He was very helpful and informative. In the middle of a business trip my alternator went out and he saved me over $250 between getting a new alternator installed and a tow. He talked me through the parts I would need and was there for any questions while i changed it. I was successful changing my own alternator for the first time.
