Never had a problem here.
I don't come in acting like he owes me a favor because it's just stuff and his yard. If I didn't like it something, I could drive down the road to another yard or go.to pull apart and they too will make you carry your tools and limit what you can do, us charge you to enter the yard
i haven't had the problemsat Temples, that others have reported here. He is an old school fellah.
We used to get parts for the racecars here and these days we still scrap things here when needed to clear out property..
Kids these days are soft and expect someone to blow them a kiss or something.
Nothing abt this place is good the owner is a disrespectful person and has an attitude all the time and doesn't give yu your money's worth i wouldn't go to this place if it was the only one he definitely lost a customer
Would give zero stars if I could he doesn't sell yu parts you half to buy it whole so really your wasting your money if you go wouldn't recommend pull aparts better
Would not recommend coming here. Man in charge of the lot was extremely disrespectful to me. asked me to walk the lot without tools. report exactly what I wanted. then pull what I said. Took 4 hours to pull 2 parts due to this. was honest and respectful and received nothing but disrespect and down talking. DO NOT COME HERE IF YOUR YOUNG
Has tons of classics there, alittle pricey and cash or check only. Only thing I don't like is I can't but just a pully, I had to buy the pump with it. Also I wanted to buy some bumperettes but in order to buy them I would have to but the bumper too. It would be nice if they just sold the small stuff too and not make you buy a whole big part with it. Otherwise plenty of classics there and good parts.
If you looking for parts for older model vehicles the pre-1980 to definitely be a place to go it has quite a bit of scrap four wheeler and mini bike mostly Chinese type parts pretty easy to get along with just wish it wasn't so far out
I always take any scrap here,and if I need any parts for a old model vehicle I come to temples first.the people here are always friendly and you will get in and out fast.
They have a huge section of tractor implements.
As of April 19th 2021 they charge $.05 a pound for tractor implement or parts..... or as the owner told me, "I charge $50 per 1,000 lbs." Fair enough.
I'd say bring cash. I didn't buy anything this time but I plan to.
How about making sure your tow vehicle carrying dumpsters is actually clean of loose particles/rock or use a covered trailer before hitting i20 at 80mph!!! Thanks for chipping my hood & windshield!! Pathetic. Occurence at 2:10pm today in Lexington Co.
HORRIBLY DISRESPECTED & HUMILIATED

Absolutely HORRIBLE experience. NEVER IN MY LIFE HAVE I EVER BEEN DISRESPECTED THE WAY RUSSELL TEMPLES, the retired owners son, TREATED ME!! I went to inquire bout a scooter part so I went to the office unsure of how this facility operated . Mr Russell Temples was in the office so I politely inquired about some scooter parts and and he told me he didn't know. He was very sharp and short with his words. He said, "hell there's a pile of scooters out there, but I don't know what they got on em, so I reckon you'll just have to go look". Now this facility is located on 2 sides of the road, one side has salvage vehicles and the other side they buy scrap metal and so there's an enormous yard piled up with all kinds of various appliances lawn mowers golf carts, etc and I was unsure of where to go, I'd never been here before and already not caring for Mr Russell's attitude decided to ask another employee outside the office of where to go. He was helpful and pointed me where to go and I went and removed two parts, a breather canister that wasn't the right size I needed but thought I may try to make work if it was a reasonable price and a cracked light lens cover. I returned to the office and Mr Russell and several other fellas was sitting around eating lunch. I asked Russell how much $ for both parts and he said $40 which seemed like a ridiculous price to me so I asked how much for just the (cracked) lens cover. He responded $20. I quickly responded "20 dollars! Man this thing is cracked all the way across and I'm sure I could buy a new one for $20". This man stood up jerked the lens cover out my hand, threw it on the floor and CRUSHES it by stomping on it and just stares at me, along with the other several employees in the office who just sat there watching. I was humiliated and furious and just down right disgusted at how this man treated me for no reason. Went down the street to another salvage yard where I was told Russell Temples was jumped on previously by a man that he had done the EXACT same thing to... wow! I don't ever review anything but it's important to me that I let the public know how I as DISRESPECTED by this man. Ronnie B. Gleaton
