Everyone here was amazing. We went on a Saturday when one employee was about to leave but he saw the amount of customers and stayed to help. He was great and I highly recommend them for your next oil change!!!
very much conflicted with this review. Although my previous times were awful, the company’s customer service team in their corporate office and the area manager are one of the best I have ever experienced. They truly care about a customers experience and are willing to secure a successful service. They have proved that time and time to make sure they didn’t lose a customer. However the reason why they cannot get a complete 5 star out of me is because the team in Lancaster still needs work. The last time I was there I waited for 30 minutes until I could get an oil change. I think this shop has some potential if they continue the way that the leadership team has shown. But I did want to say that although two of my experiences were unsatisfactory this last one wasn’t bad because of chastity. She was professional.
I went to get my oil change. After it was done we started the car and my check engine light was on. The check engine light wasn’t on before I got the oil change. I told them about the sensor. They started looking up how to reset that sensor. I advised them again that the sensor wasn’t on until after the oil change. I researched and it said that the gas filter nozzle wasn’t put back on tight or correctly. I told him that and he brushed it off. I then asked him to please check. He lifted the hood and looked and shut it. Didn’t try to adjust anything. We ended up leaving and my husband took the nozzle off and screwed it back in properly. The engine light went off. They were they were just trying to put a “bandaid” over the issue by just trying to reset the sensor and not actually caring about what was actually wrong.
I like how they explain the process to you when you have questions step by step. Now I know why things are changed and done. And I get to sit in my car during service.
They stay open until 7pm, I had to use them do to my work hours changing and not being able to get to my regular place, They just changed oil and oil filter, didn't top off fluids check tier pressure or reset oil life gauge, as my regular service, but the price was over double what I would have normally paid
As soon as I pulled into the street, my skid plate popped loose and was dragging the pavement. They were in no hurry to fix it or even apologize when I pulled back in. Within 24 hours I had FIVE texts and also 5 emails emails asking me to complete a survey even after responding to the first one. I was nice the first time but when they kept pestering me, I decided to be honest. That was last week and I still haven't heard from them. Do not recommend at all.
Just wanted to come back to add that after promising to contact me to replace the damaged skid plate, I still have not heard a single word from Strickland and it's been almost two weeks.
The first time the wait was short the service was fast honor their coupons so it is affordable. You can’t beat this place!!! After 2 visits with coupons they started giving excuses like “we don’t have your oil” twice. “We don’t have the wrench for your jeep”. Don’t bother calling customer support team. It’s a bogus number that is full and not taking messages. Can’t even call ahead to see if they have what they need for an oil change because they don’t answer phone. For the frustration and time it costs..it really pays to just pay the extra $20 and go somewhere else. Strickland brother has the worse customer service ever. Their review are vetted and not trust worthy.
Went to the business on a Friday right around 5:30. I waited in line for quite some time until a young man came out to me and said that they didn't have the correct filter in stock to complete the oil change. Being in a rush, I offered to drive to Walmart, pay for the items needed, come back to the shop before 7 pm (closing time) with the items needed to complete the oil change. After a quick back and forth, the employee seemed to be more concerned with getting out on time rather than working with me to get my oil changed and NO discounted price. First and last time going to this place.
It was the best oil change I had in Lancaster, the staff was professional and friendly along with an efficient service. Please add a extra to their pay for every good reviews like this one😊👍
They changed my oil and that was it. They didn't check lights, break lights, turn signals etc... I needed a windshield wipers replaced, fluids filled, tires checked and they did nothing of the sort for me ir even ask me. My spouse went there and he has a break light out and they never said anything to him.
Saw them while driving through and stopped to get oil change. Wasn’t pushy about additional services. The price is in line with the other change while you wait so can’t complain. I think those guys are doing a bang up job and would highly recommend if you are in the area.
Great job. Its nice to not have to leave your car at all. Little pricey though for full synthetic oil change. Im gonna still use them again and again. No problems there.
I went to the Lancaster location. I was traveling and needed an oil change outside of my trusted places. I will make sure to avoid going to any Strickland oil change from now on. Been leaking oil for the past week and now need another oil change. They didn’t tighten the washer even a little. Utterly ridiculous, I don’t even understand how u can do something so belligerently stupid. Don’t come here, it’s better to just not get your oil changed
Great customers the 2 young men with braids and the other guy under the basement changing out the oil filters. They worked together and got me out of there. Also, I was given compliments car wash next door and I must say so my self!!! That’s was great too
I have been going to Strickland for years and today was the worst experience! The guy approached my car nonchalant. No greeting or anything. Both men acted as if they didn’t want to be there. They didn’t change my oil filter or check/fill any of my fluids except windshield wiper fluid. When asked about it they claimed they didn’t have the coolant that i use. They lied on the paper about checking and changing everything except the oil and washer fluid. They definitely lost a customer and I won’t be back again.
Not 2 days after getting my car serviced twice within a few months for an oil change that my vehicle OVERHEATED! On the receipt coolant stats says OK. Not! Apparently I had no idea I had to watch everything they would do and on each visit I did not see them add coolant. This also leads me to question what Kind of oil is being used old oil? $80+ for an oil change at least can check wiper & coolant like it sats on the receipt. One side of wiper fluid is still out. I was almost stranded when I had to figure out why my vehicle temp was maxed! I took it back after the first time as I was not aware they were not doing what they charged me for! A refund for both trips would be great so I can take it elsewhere for proper service oil change 🥲. It’s pretty sad when the guys at Home Depot can assist an overheated car better than the mechanics that should have prevented it! Vehicles been running great since!
On the plus side, they were fairly quick. Best I can say. They didnt give me prices - I had to question them about it. Their verifying routine was laughable. My change sticker says chane in 205 miles or 3 months! What the heck? What kind of oil did they use. I will put on 200 miles this week. Now I am stressed about what is going on with the oil. Never going back.
First we have been going here for years. But stopped going about 2 years ago because they changed ownership. When they changed ownership things went south. Every time me or my wife tries to go there for an oil change they never have our filter. Mind you our cars aren't rare cars by any means. So we typically go somewhere else and bite the extra hour or so drive to indianland and back. Today I called they once again don't have my filters and won't for 3 days. I say okay can I bring one. They say yes. I get there not a single person speaks to me they just all come from behind the building. And wave me in. Then someone hands me a tablet and says fill this in. I'm like okay cool. They ask me what oil i prefer I tell them full synthetic. So they carry on with the oil change. The pull my cabin air filter and say oh this needs changed. Without looking he says but we don't have that ether. I'm like okay why check it if you don't even have it and know this without looking. Then they come to my window and bring a payment device and do not speak a word. So I look at my bill it's 90 dollars. Why am I being charge a full amount when I have provide my own filter. At this point it I'll just not even attempt. Why not have these products in stock. They used to do the oil change cabin filters and all. I never had to call. No where else do I have to pre check and see if they can service me. I will be going to your competitors from now on even though it's annoying having to drive further for the service.
Great experience at SB 10 minute oil change ... really did only take 10 minutes one in the bay. "Ant" and Taylor did a great job and it was nice to see a tech who actually knew about Classic Vehicles (I have 1965 F100 Pick-up). We shared some old car photos and I was in and out. Got my discount too!!!
I got my oil changed here today and the really nice guy who helped me today noticed that my windshield wipers were not working the best because they needed to be replaced. He never tried to over sell me on anything he mostly wanted to make sure that when I left the place I was able to safely see with no issues. You don't get to experience someone just being a nice person and not trying to push a sell too often. I will definitely go back when I need my oil changed again.
