I bought a battery in May 2025 and had to replace it. I called ahead to the store and they pulled up my receipt using my phone number. Tina, the employee that I spoke with, had the battery that I was replacing ready to go when I got there. All I had to do was give them the old battery, take the new one, and that was that. I was very impressed with the service. Experiences like this is why I’ve been been doing business with O’Reilly Auto Parts since 2015.
Thanksgiving is a day to truly be thankful. We'll I am truly thankful for Charles and his team. I called to check on a part and was greeted and assisted so pleasantly, so as I was driving, my car shut off right before I turned into the parking lot. They were kind enough to push me in the space.
To find out I needed to replace a serp. Belt and the pulley was NOT what I wanted to hear especially when I just got my car 24 hours or less ago. I came for one thing and it turned out to be another -_- Mr. Charles and his wonderful staff ended up replacing and repairing the belt and pulley. What made this more of a reason to be thankful is he has a broken hand and STILL helped me.
I cannot thank these wonderful people enough. Instead of turning me away or having to wait until the next day or two to get someone to fix it. They performed great teamwork and shown there are still good people in the world.
Thank goodness for some kind employees! I barely made it to the parking lot with a flat tire. They changed my tire and were so kind! We always come to Oreilly’s in Elgin for our auto part needs
My wife got a flat tire today while driving home with our baby. She was able to pull into their parking lot and ask for help. The whole staff were so kind, put the spare on for her and helped entertain a very hungry and sleepy baby. Couldn’t have asked for better people to help her. Thank you so much!
I have been going to O’Reillys since they’ve been in Elgin. They’re always efficient, knowledgeable, friendly I wouldn’t take my business anywhere else. Just good people.
My 78' GMC Motorhome was out of juice and without an alternator belt. But, Charles was able to find a compatible replacement, despite little to no documentation and the original being discontinued. Charles is the man!
I wanted to thank O'Reilly's this evening for helping me find the right retaining clips and installing them on my car. I didn't catch his name, but I saw he was the assistant manager. He felt like a grandpa that knows a lot about cars from years of experience. He showed me how to make sure they stay secure, how to check after i get my next oil change, and left me with a spare just in case. O'Reilly's gained another customer this evening. Thank you so much!
O'Reilly is great for automotive needs, but they've DEFINITELY gotten more expensive. We stopped here for a couple items, but wound up returning them because walmart had a better selection & they were cheaper.

These gentlemen were very helpful when I was driving across the country and had a check engine light illuminate. They ran the code check.I used the local garage that was suggested. I was back on the road in less than two hours! Thank you very much.
I love shopping here. The staff is VERY helpful, knowledge, and friendly. More than once I have been in the store and the staff has gone out of their way to help. I highly recommend this store.
Truly knowledgeable associates. They helped me find what I needed for an older (2005) truck, then put it on the truck for me as I would have struggled physically! Most places are not as courteous, helpful, or knowledgeable. Thank you O'Reilly's!
I don't know where to begin. I have never, ever, ever in my entire 54 years have seen more terrible and incompetent service. Numerous times I have had to exchange incorrectly ordered parts, to include something as sime as an oil filter. This organization is incompetent to its core. Its cross refferencing system is full more bugs than Windows 10! I will never again utilize this "once" great store. Good bye Orileys!!!!!
I buy a lot of my truck parts from here. I worked for O'Reilly's Auto Parts for 4 months, not this store though. This store is in Elgin SC, and I live here in Elgin. I worked part time for them, Monday, Wednesday and Friday delivering Auto Parts.
My experience was very poor at this store today. After purchasing a part and realizing it was not the rite one the issue was brought to the sales associate that sold it to me. I was then told they didn’t have what I needed and was pretty much left to figure it out for myself. Even after explaining I wouldn’t be able to move my truck without the part ,I then called another O’reilly on the other side of town and received more assistance than I was receiving from the store I was literally standing at the counter. After I received assistance from the other store I asked the associate why did I have to do all that if he knew he sold me the wrong part and I wouldn’t be able to move my vehicle without it , this young man tried to reason with me how he couldn’t do anything about that and it was my fault. Safe to say I will NEVER spend my money there again because a customer isn’t valued. And I will surely pass the word along.
Parts ready to pick up when got there. My cuz called after I left was only 10 mins away and they was already up on counter and guy was fast with check out.
Trying to leave for work and my car wouldn’t start. I charged the battery and drove it to the O’Reilly because I knew they good prices, offered a military discount, and would change the battery so I didn’t have to get my work clothes dirty. Friendly service and on my way in 20 minutes.
My go to place for anything automobile. Everyone here is good but especially Mat. He's fast, knowledgeable, multi tasks, greets you when you come in the door and knows basically everything.
I'm new in Elgin and I had to do a tune-up on my truck we had everything in stock I needed. Really friendly people and helpful. Will definitely go here for my parts store.
The 2 young guys working there were my opinion of 2 outstanding guys. I don't know if it's because I was the only customer in the store at the time or what. But they were very helpful and nice.
