Really easy place to access and the people working are really friendly. You have to be a Kershaw County resident but otherwise, it is easy to get in and out. They have it set up so you can easily see where things go if you are bringing more than household trash.
Always willing to help out they're very courteous and they keep the place clean. And I cannot say the same about Lugoff recycling center it is a disgrace and the people that work there are lazy
Get told to come back later,come back later get told to come back in the morning.wensday morning ...When there going to be closed...... Really need to get their stuff together. Worst experience I've ever had at a transfer station.
Recently gave it an okay review, but I just went back to dispose of a bubble wrap pool cover, and every single dumpster was full. I drove back with my trash. Also there is lots of potholes.
While it's a convenient location in the middle of Elgin township, the upkeep is horrendous - massive potholes which makes it hard for cars to enter without damaging your tires, and the grounds are just not cleaned up routinely and are full of rocks and debris on the grounds. It's so bad that I'm going to change centers to the one off of Wildwood Lane which is better kept.
Could be kept up with a little better. Definitely need more staff at this busy one. Also the speed bump is crazy high. My camry feels like its being thrown around no matter how slow i go. Its also starting to develop some pot holes.
Fairly nice people and for a convenience center as clean as you could expect. Just wish the county had more drivers to keep the dumpsters emptier by being able to run them to Camden more often.
They are closed when I get off work but are open on Sundays so that is a big help. I live nearby so this is really convenient location on a major road, Hwy 1. The guys that work there have always been nice to me.
