This guy deserves 5 stars. He’s been more than willing to accommodate me in my circumstances and very reasonable with pricing. He’s went out of his way to help and fix issues with my vehicle multiple times now and is always more than reasonable and kind.
I have appreciated his help much and would recommend anyone to go here.
These folks have been my auto mechanics for years. Nick has always done right by me and my family and we’re so grateful they are part of the community in TR!
Not the same. Brought cars here for years and now I don't recommend. Whole family brought automobiles. Nick has always been excellent. New owner not too swift.
Tried calling to see how far out they were and if they dealt with broken exhaust manifolds bolts before I could even finish my sentence he said he couldn't tell me anything over the phone and hung up on me needless to say I wont be using this shop
Great place to get your car fixed, my back hatch wouldn’t open easily so they replaced whatever it is that wasn’t working 🤷🏻♀️, but it works great now and they have done my oil changes and other issues that needed fixing and they are always busy but they manage to get me in and they are great guys working there !
I went to like 3 different tire places and no one could fix my tire. Went to Marks Tire Center and they fixed my tire in 15 minutes. Best tire shop 10/10 recommend
Mark always gets me great tires for a great price. I drop my car off in the mornings and usually by lunch it is ready. Whatever he quotes is what it will be! No added charges. He is one of the good guys with a commitment to his customers!
This is hands down the best auto repair shop in TR! Mark and his staff are very knowledgeable auto mechanics and the turnaround time is outstanding. We've used them for years and highly recommend them!
My father was just killed in a car accident and mark wouldnt let us get any personal items out of the car unless the tow bill was paid. He was rude to my mother who just lost her husband. I wouldn't recommend this pos for any kind of service.
Worst service my family and I have ever had on a vehicle repair. We certainly wont be going back. We wanted to take our vehicle to another place to have work done because we were unsatisfied with the customer service. When we arrived to pay for the tow Mark kept adding on charges undicsussed. We finally let him fix our van just so we could be all done with his company. At the very end as he was running my card he said something very inappropriate to a woman with children. This place is unprofessional and over priced. Do not go here.
I called today to offer services to them, the guy who answered was very rude and disrespectful to using inappropriate language that was completely not necessary. I wouldn't recommend anyone going to this facility based upon his customer service.
Got 4 tires. One was installed incorrectly, so I had to return. Thank God I had a mechanic with me to double-check. This tire may have gone flying off the highway.
Out the door price on the phone is not the same as what I paid. Hidden fees added in the end.
When I asked what were the non adjustment fees, he says "well that's for charges with my shop, you're still getting a great price. If you don't like it I can just add more. "
I really got the feeling he was biased towards me as a female as well by the way he was curt but was very polite to my mechanic friend.
My wife and I had 285,000 miles on our 2006 Civic and 225,000 miles on our 2003 Ford Escape before recently buying new cars. Mark and Nick serviced the Civic and the Escape for the entire time we owned the vehicles. I give Mark and Nick much credit for the longevity of the vehicles. We continue to take our vehicles to Mark's for good, solid service (including oil changes and tires) at extremely competitive prices.
I'm only giving this one star, because Google left me no choice. I had to pick a star before I could comment. This man is a rude, snotty, uneducated, redneck from the depths of hell. My dog is more professional than he is. His services was called by a state trooper to the scene of an accident. He cut me off mid-sentence, then threatened to charge me more for my vehicle. This hillbilly needs to be shut down!
Thia guy right here is dissrespectful, snobby, and unreasonable. My car was towed and i had just recently bought it from a neighbor of mine. The title was still in his name but he signed the back of it as the seller and my signature was also on there as the buyer. On top of that I had a bill of sale that was notorized, I go up there to get my wallet out the car in order to be able to cash my check and this guy wouldnt even let me get near my own car even though i had all the paper work he asked me for. Now i am having to go to dmv and wait in line for hours to transfer the title where my name is on the front, on top of first getting a replacement ID because he wouldnt let me get mine out of the car. I would give this guy 0 stars and i honestly cant wait until someone puts him in his place. When i tried calling and begging to get my wallet out of the car he got smart told me to call the police and HUNG UP ON ME. GO MARK
Called today to politely ask for some information regarding work he had done for our company. I simply needed to know what was done. He refused to help and was remarkably rude. I hope he was having a bad day, but the unprofessional attitude was astounding. Our company will never use him again.
Recently had a tire blow out, had road side assistance help me out with finding a tow truck and mark was the one who I spoke to and gave all the details too what the problem was. I have a VW that requires a special lock key for the lug but i didn’t have it and mark was very much informed And when he pick us up, us bring me my pregnant fiancé and my 3 year old son. And he informes me that he has a key or can get the lug nut off no problem save us money and an extra hour drive if we just go to his shop. So I say that’s fine. Me and my family get there and wait as he’s literally beating and bashing away at my rim trying to get this lugnut off because he had not the proper key for it. After 2 and half hours of him doing this he comes up to me around 4:50 pm and says hey this isn’t coming off and the shop closes at 5. So i can just leave it out front for you and get back to it in the morning. Therefore leaving us stranded in a town with no vehicle and I live an hour an half away. So I tell him to drop the vehicle and I have a friend coming to help so he some reason goes back in the shop for another 30 mins to grind beat and smash my rim in trying to get this lugnut off and comes out of the shop and states. “ It’s not coming off so idk what you want me to do but I’m going home and you need to pay me for the work I did on it already “. Then I say no he’s out of his mind and we get into a argument and he says he’s gonna lock my car in his garage and charge me storage fees so I told him I’m calling the police. So I did and him and my fiancé are screaming back and court and this man walks up and his pointing his finger and screaming in my pregnant fiancés face so I walk towards him and tell him he needs to not ever do that to her and he proceeds to scream he’s going to blow my Fing head off 3 separate times while my 3 year old son is in her arms this entire ordeal. I would NEVER go to this disrespectful backwoods of travelers rest mans shop ever again I’d walk 10000 miles to get home before ever dealing with this idiot again. I’ll see you in court. And those charges will be getting pressed.
Mark has always done a good job with our vehicles. He is also fair with his prices. I took one of our cars somewhere else once and they told us it needed a lot of work. I declined the service and took it to Mark. He had Nick check out the car and said it DID NOT need the repair done. We will stick with Mark's Discount.
So we brought in our car and he said he would call and tell us what was wrong before fixing it. He called the next day and said it was fixed and ready to pick up. When I got there I asked why he didn't call first like he said he ways and he says, "Well it had to be fixed anyway". I said it would of been nice if he had called first and then, no joke, he jumps up from his desk and starts swearing at me like i'm trying to rip him off somehow. I'm literally holding my 8 month old while he is doing this. I told him that I am paying for the service but I just wanted him to be honest and stand by what he said he was going to do. He calmed down and said that his employee fixed it without asking him.
It's an understandable mistake but how you handled it was horrible. Just apologize when something goes wrong it's not that hard.
I've been going to Mark's Discount for years. I trust Mark and Nick to do a great job. They get the repairs done in a timely manner and have always charged me a fair price. Highly recommend them.
I cannot give enough praise and recommendation for Mark!! He came to my rescue after my Suburban blew a heater hose and ran hot at the NC/SC state line on my way to Tennessee. I was alone and it was 39 degrees. He arrived in less than 30 minutes and gave me a ride to the Enterprise Rental Car place. He fixed my car while I was on my trip and had it ready for me to pick up on my way back home. AND he didn’t charge me an arm and a leg to do it. Very fair prices and courteous service. Highly recommend!
Bringing my daughter to North Greenville and her brakes started grinding. Called Mark and he said he would work her in. Had us done very quickly with a great price. He picked up a new customer today!!
