Might be a good store but the employees needs to be talked to. This dude was on the phone and ignored a customer and then tried to fight the customer and then threaten the customer by telling to "meet me at my car". And at the end, the police was called on the customer, NOT THE EMPLOYEE, and the customer was BANNED!!!! That's not what you call good customer service.
Had to buy a battery for my car yesterday. Originally with tax it was 281.39.
Even worse it is located in the wheel well. Tire and wheel well liner have to be removed to install it.
I was given a discount and that helped.
First I went to O'Reilly, young man named Shamar tested the battery. Dead of course, gave me bad news on installation. I have always gotten my batteries at Auto Zone so I went there. It was like I didn't exist. Got battery priced there, cheaper than O'Reilly. Even though they were cheaper I went back to O'Reilly's.
Big shout out to Shamar. I think he could tell I had trouble getting around or maybe he treats everyone that well. He made numerous trips outside for info on car and was friendy. Even held door for me even though he was carrying a heavy battery. I hate shopping of any kind (except yard sales) but Shamar made it a pleasant experience.

Great auto parts store! I was helped by Tye, I don’t know much about cars and she was so kind and knew exactly what I needed! She got everything handled for me I appreciate her being patient with me will return there if needed ??
They always have the part or parts that I need, and they always have great service. Their employees are always wanting and willing to install certain parts on my car, such as wiper blades, bulbs, batteries, etc.
Went there the day before of course had to be ordered but got her to look up a part she speedy right through the proceees. And said part will be here tomorrow at 4 next day comes called 24 times in the morning for another part no answer drove 35-40!min there arrives almost 10:00 still no one at store came back for oart at 4 wrong part totally wrong and this isn’t the first time some of them don’t know how to look certain things I lady I was telling her there it is hit that button she would exit off the screen and say she didn’t see a listing for it don’t really care to go back
I arrived at 8:35 PM and the door was already locked, but the hours say they stay open until 9 PM. With these freezing temperatures arriving I really needed a gauge to check my antifreeze, guess that won’t happen tonight, thanks O’Reillys…
Stopped in to this store in Manning, SC on Sept 29 2022 & told clerk i needed a Starting battery for my 2014 Ford Edge, H uses my License plate numbers to look up the car specs & proceeds to tell me he can NOT INSTALL a battery because it is fused & only a FORD DEALER should do an installation. Said he could sell me a battery but advised me not to install myself because i could blow a fuse & the only way to find out which fuse to replace would be to have a FORD DEALERSHIP to check it. I drove up the street to Autozone & within 30 min they had a new battery installed with no problem.
My car broke down on the 95 and I was able to creep into the store there in Manning in a terrible storm near closing hours. Ms. Sherri and her team provided excellent customer service. Even got me and my wife safely to the hotel where we stayed until the following morning. As there were no Ubers or Lyfts available. Got me all the right parts and on to the mechanic who was able to get me on the road in a matter of hours the following day!
I dealt with one customer service that gave me a price of $68. Then when I returned to purchase the item another reps said the price $72.00. I stated that was $4.00 higher and she acted as if she did not hear me. It's my mission to never shop at O'Reilly again. I been in the Manning store only about 3 times in last 8 years and each experience has been bad. Stay away and keep your hard earn money.
Some are really helpful and friendly. Some are helpful no personality. So if your not sure what you want, need or understand the list you've been sent with... Clean the few times I've been
Horrible! I would pay more at another store before I pay less at this store! The sumter store is great but Manning store, I will not recommend anyone shop there. They did not deserve that one star but I had to rate in order to comment and let the world know they're horrible and need to be shut down!
This is absolutely the worst website on the Internet! I like your store and the people that work there but it is impossible to find a way to order a Parton the dumbass web site. Most of the time theme site tells me that the store is closed and I can go to town and the store is open. Please get rid of the monkey and hire someone to set up your website. Thanks
