Harrison Friedman was the first person I spoke with. He gave me a great price, clearly explained everything that was included, and answered all of my questions with patience and professionalism. He really made me feel comfortable with my purchase and even handled delivery for a small fee.
When I arrived, I met John Miller (manager) who took care of all the paperwork quickly and efficiently. He let me fully test the golf cart and personally made sure that the two small issues I had with it were resolved right away.
Both Harrison and John were extremely helpful, had excellent communication, and made the entire process stress-free. I couldn’t be happier with my golf cart—it was the best price in town, and the service was just as impressive.

Would like to thank the entire staff for making the process of purchasing my first golf cart. They made everything so easy from start to finish. Harrison went above and beyond to make sure I got what I really wanted and didn't settle for one they didn't have currently in inventory. When one arrived, he called immediately so I can get out there as quick as possible. Thanks to him for not allowing me to settle on the black unit and get the red model I originally wanted. Not only did he get a sale from me, but my buddy ended up closing a deal the next day when we picked up my cart. I brought my 1999 Ford F350 7.3 to Ravenel Truck & Equipment (RTE) for repair. The truck had left me on the side of the road. I had it towed to RTE, they put it on the computer and told me (2) injectors were bad. I told them, after some research, to go ahead and replace all the injectors and the valve cover gasket, that has the power wires to the injectors passing through it, and while they are at it, change the high-pressure oil lines to the injectors as well.
I got the truck back and within a week the fuel lines ruptured spraying diesel all over under the hood and pouring all over a friend's driveway. With no regard, I was charged for the tow and I was told they shouldn't be held responsible for the original fuel lines. Whatever, I paid to have the fuel lines replaced. One would think if I was forward-thinking enough to have the oil lines replaced they would suggest the fuel lines as well. I digress. After getting the truck back, I had an oil leak. The valley was filling with oil and running down the back of the block. I was told the rear main was blown and they would have to pull the motor. I wasn't going that route with a truck of this age so I picked it up and did some exploring of my own. As it was the high-pressure oil line that I had them replace was leaking into the valley and draining off the back of the block, not the rear main seal. The truck broke down again, I had it towed to RTE at a fee and was told the reason it wouldn't start was because the battery was dead. They charged me about $300.00 to recharge the battery but didn't suggest a new battery terminal, clean the corrosion at the terminal, or check the output of the alternator. I later found out the voltage regulator was bad. This was never looked at or this issue would have been recognized. Now the truck is surging, I've pulled the injectors and found they are the original with the truck. This place is a scam. I spent almost 10k with them and have no resolve. Save yourself the aggravation and don't come here. Funny, they lost my keys when I picked up the truck after the first visit. I picked the truck up after hours, I was told the keys were under the mat, but they weren't. I had brought a spare set just in case and I'm glad I did. It was the third visit when I finally got the daughter to look and she found my keys in a cabinet in the back. Aggravating. No remorse, no self-responsibility, just excuses, and now I get to rebuild the original injectors that I paid for new. More to come;)
PS This family of generational diesel mechanics for Caterpillar also has the Massey Ferguson equipment rental for Ravenel. If they can't fix an old truck how are they going to maintain the tractor you need for a weekend ?
Harrison and John made sure all my questions were answered, showed me all the implements I wanted, Auger, box blade, backhoe and how they'd function with the backhoe subframe installed on our new Massey tractor purchase. The entire process was a breeze and we can't wait to get to work. Looking forward to many more purchases with them!
Our class A diesel pusher was blowing oil onto our Jeep and top half of the Rv. We saw Ravenel Truck and Equipment Center. Ritchie worked us into the shop and resolved our issue. The office staff and mechanics were very friendly and helpful during this process. Their hospitality was fantastic! Thanks for getting us back on the road!
There is a reason I drive an hour and a half to Herringtons for my tractor needs. Customer service is second to none! They are extremely knowledgeable and make you feel like part of the family.
Harry and Judy were the most pleasant people to work with. I shopped for months for a tractor, and when I decided on a Massey, I am lucky to have found this dealership. Not once did I feel pressured to purchase the model above what I was looking for, as I experienced at a number of other brand's dealers. Harry was quick to answer all of my questions and reassure me that for my acreage, the model I was purchasing was going to meet all of my needs and expectations. This was a no-hassle experience, and felt like I was an important customer the moment I called!
The gentleman that trained me on the tractor was excellent (I am so sorry I forgot his name, there was a lot of information in a short amount of time). I am glad he spent the time to literally go over every single detail on the tractor. The extra effort here has already boosted my confidence in being a first time tractor owner. You could tell this wasn't a job for him, but something he was truly passionate about.
I do know that if I have any other equipment needs, tractor needs, or need to actually eventually upgrade or purchase an additional tractor- Herrington Equipment is going to be it. Overall, this was a wonderful experience.

The most recurring piece of advice I got when preparing to buy a tractor was to make sure I bought from a place I could trust and rely on. It is a relationship not a purchase. After owning my tractor for just a month I can already see why. The Herrington's are attentive, personal and knowledgeable all while offering great value.
Herrington Equipment is top notch. I had a small part give out on the backhoe of the tractor I bought from them a year ago. I went down there and described the part I needed. He knew exactly what I needed and had it to me in a few days. Covered under warranty, no questions asked. From the buying experience with Herrington to the one time I needed a part for the awesome Massey GC1725TLB I purchased from them, the whole experience with this company has been great. I highly recommend them.

We recently bought our 2705 and are very pleased with the tractor and service from Herrington Equipment. Jimmy was very knowledgeable and helpful in selecting the best equipment for our needs. Harry took the time to come out to our place and evaluate our equipment and small operation. Everyone at Herrington Equipment was courteous and professional.
Mr. Herrington and his employees t all try to make you as comfortable as possible. Everyone is very knowledgeable in their jobs due to years of experience. The work I have had done is excellent. I have bought several thousands of dollars worth of equipment and will buy more at Herringtons when I need more equipment. The mechanical staff does requested repairs and fixes additional problems when they find them preventing future breakdowns. Everyone shares their knowledge and experience easily making it a good place to do business.
I wanted to buy "local" to support local businesses and to have a good relationship for future service. I have NOT been disappointed! The sales process was easy with no high pressure and the service has been excellent! Just had my 50 hr service. The tractor was ready when promised and everyone was very helpful. Harry and the team are good people, trustworthy and always on top of things. Herrington's is my "go-to" place for all of my equipment needs! Thanks, Y'all!
These are some of the finest folks I have ever dealt with. I purchased a tractor from them in June and the whole experience was great. Since then, I've had great dealing with the service department as well. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of equipment.
