Can’t say enough nice things about this towing company. Had an issue that a lot of other companies in the area didn’t want to help me with at 10 o’clock at night, but these guys came through so fast I’m still shocked. The Driver was friendly as can be. Let’s be honest tow truck drivers really don’t have the best reputation for being soft and cuddly, but this guy absolutely great. Took care of my little issue and I was able to get on with my evening.. thank you again great business

If you need a large truck towed, I highly recommend this company. Cheaper than elite for the heavy duty tow truck. I had this truck at the mechanic shop for awhile but the outside tire was blown and they were able to tow it without replacing it. The driver hugh was safe and experienced. Thanks for taking care of me today on such short notice.

The female that answered the phone on 11/22/2024. Was so rude get rid of her apparently she doesn’t like her job. I was so sweet and professional and here she comes with an attitude. When I called on 11/15/2024 the male was so professional and it was a great process. So I thought I should call back since my car was ready for pick up but that didn’t work out as I planned. I’ll take my money elsewhere.

I have just gotten a very major surgery on my face. My father drove into town in order to give me help and aid in my recovery. I got discharged very late from the hospital therefore there was no way for me to get a pass from the apartment complex. I have been home for 2 hours and father goes out to get me food and behold he has been towed by this company. Let me reiterate that I cannot see through my right eye. I cannot drive due to the medication I am taking. And now I have no mode of transportation unless I give this company $211. No, he was not parked in a marked spot and no, he was not breaking any Charleston county laws. SHAME ON YOU JG TOWING.LOOK ME IN MY FACE AND TELL ME IM CAPABLE OF DRIVING RIGHT NOW UPDATE: My father now has to go get an invoice for damages caused by JG TOWING. I don’t care if you have a contract why in Gods name would anyone have to pay to retrieve a FALSELY TOWED CAR. With damages YOU CAUSED. Don’t act worried for me or my health. Worry about how strong mu family comes behind be through vety legal process. You’re on notice JG Towing and you will pay EVERY PENNY BACK and more for lost wages

I was in a bind, traveling through town and got a puncture. It was late in the day and I needed a tow and they were able to get a truck out to me quickly and bring me to the service center I needed to get to to get the tire replaced. Driver was quick, efficient, safe, and friendly, very happy to help me out. I really appreciated the service they provided.

Literally worthless this time. Tried getting help to have my camaro towed. They refused to go on base even with a sponsor. He said it would take too long even though I explained it would be no different than going anywhere else and then he hung up on me. I called back to try and explain again that coming base will not be an issue. We've done this several times. They would not listen, only wanted to argue about not wanting to come on base and how "it would take to long"? Should have answered the phone stating yall didn't have availability instead of grabbing all my info first before decline the service. I've used them 2 times before for my C6Z06 and my base model C6 corvette and had no issue. Needed them this time to move my supercharged camaro but guess I'll be using Holy City towing from now on. Ridiculous customer service.

JG Towing was amazing and affordable, my dispatcher was also very fast to call me back and dispatch! My driver, Dalton, was fast, communicative and very professional, even being kind enough to offer his own services on my vehicle! I will absolutely recommend this towing service to anyone who asks.

Besides the fact that they tow people from apartment complexes that they pay every month to park at I am extremely appalled by the fact i Ubered to their location to get my car and when I paid she informed me my car was in fact at a different location 20 minutes down the road. I then paid for an additional Uber where I arrived at the new location. Once there I found out there was no one to let me into the gate. As a woman I think it’s extremely ridiculous this company expects you to pay upwards of $200 and then be told you have to wait alone on the side of rivers avenue when it’s barely day light out. I have been waiting 30 minutes alone and the driver still has yet to arrive.

Broke down in a terrible spot. Was able to schedule a pick up. Easy enough hook up and they were able to put my car in its regular parking spot like it never even left.

Just AMAZING! They made a bad day a bit better. Pulling my friend's damaged boat yesterday over the Don Holt and blew a tire on the trailer and limped into the Pilot store, making an already bad day even worse. They would not let us leave the boat there until we could get new tire and of course, no spare. So we called JG. Thank God! The dispatcher who answered couldn't have been more polite and understanding. Not what you typically get with a towing service. Hugh and his partner ( I didn't get her name) showed up within about 25 minutes,...I know right? It just got better from there. Hugh is a magician and I could tell right away that he assessed the situation and decided on the right plan to get this 24' boat & trailer on his flatbed. I was incredulous. The boat and trailer were bigger than his truck! No worries. Hugh and his partner were meticulous, checking and rechecking, ratcheting and securing the boat with the tongue of the trailer sticking far out from the end of the flatbed. I was so impressed the way he managed this situation and, he was as cordial as could be and answered any questions I had as he worked this large boat onto the smaller flatbed with precision. I never realized the skill and talent a towing driver would need but Hugh has it in spades. They towed the boat without incident despite having to negotiate some tight clearances with a string of lights across the road in our complex where Hugh had to use a broom to clear the lights from the Bimini top while easing the whole rig forward, and maneuvering under low hanging trees on the path to our boat ramp. Hugh is one cool customer, as they say and there was never a doubt in his mind that he was going to get this done. The boat was placed where we needed it and I thanked this crew profusely for the effort, skill & courtesy they displayed through this whole process. If you need a tow, don't hesitate and call JG!

This company is running a racquet along with the Merchant Apartments in Charleston to cheat people out of their money. They also lie about city ordinances that set MAXIMUM penalties for Nonconsensual towing. Please do not use this irreputable company for your towing needs! Update...I spoke with the Management of the Merchant apartments and they asked this towing company to return the multiple cars they towed and they refused. They also informed me that they plan to suspend towing until further notice.

Great experience! I called around to multiple towing companies and these guys were the easiest to schedule with, nicest to talk to, and most importantly, the cheapest! My car was not in an easy spot to access either, but they got it done!

Got towed at 1235 and my parking app was paid until 1238. Called the office and the young lady answering the phones couldn’t have been more rude. She hung up on me three times and essentially said well too bad it’s 230 your cars here if you want it. Absolute slumlords. Couldn’t recommend a business less.

My van had an electrical problem and was pulled into a parking spot and also a front wheel drive vehicle...couldn't shift, won't jump, and blocked in.... Francois saved me $$ by popping it in neutral, pushing it out of the parking spot himself, and not having to use the car dolly. He knew exactly what he was doing, and was quick and efficient! Very professional, courteous, and he was on site, van hooked up, and to the shop within just over an hour of the initial phonecall to the shop for help. My new towing company is JG Towing!

This was the BEST towing experience I've ever had. No Joke, the Best!! I called to have my Jeep towed to Rick Hendrick because I hopped a curb on Savage Rd and I ruined 2 tires and bent a rim. JG dispatched a flatbed and the super wonderful driver was on his way, immediately. What??? I know. I was sure I would have to wait at least an hour-2 hours, I was wrong. They were there within 15 minutes. Wow. The driver was super sweet. Wow! Another Wow, the dispatcher was Wow, and the care provided to my car was Wow, Price Was Perfect. 5 Stars. They did a great job towing my car from downtown bc i didn't pay the meter. Friendly and easy to deal with

I was broke down on I-26 in 94° weather and I pretty much melted to the Hwy. I called JG Towing and the dispatcher was Friendly and patient because I was hot and not happy. He explained to me what he was doing and why it was taken a little time to do. He said a driver could be to me within 30 minutes or so and gave me a fair price, I accepted!! The Driver actually got there with time to spare, and about 42 seconds later he had me hooked up and rolling out. His truck was really nice and clean. He told me about his new 2 week old baby girl and just seemed to be a friendly person. I would definitely recommend JG Towing!!

Excellent tow service. They are always prompt to respond, professional and easy to communicate with. Francois arrived on time yesterday for a call I placed to remove a vehicle from my business and remained calm in the presence of a difficult vehicle owner.

Very questionable and sketchy business. My experience - Left my car at Nico restaurant Saturday night. The sign says nothing except for non-customers will be towed at their own expense. Had a couple drinks and did not think it would be a problem to leave it there. Obviously was a paying customer. Car was not there next day. I go to J and G towing fully expecting to pay my bill and hopefully call Nico after, to sort something out. I tell J and G upon arrival and on the way, I understand it's not their fault, they are the middle men. The bill is $300 for the tow, and a 20 dollar gate fee. The guy asks me about the situation, saying I must have parked in front of a dumpster, which I did not. He then says I must have been there longer than 24 hours, which I was not. I have my credit card out of my purse ready to pay while he is taking other calls and I am waiting for him. Between phone calls, he is very argumentative, which I find odd. He says, "You don't understand what 24 hours is." He says this because I insist my car was not there for 24 hours before it was towed. With very poor communication skills, and him figuring out why my car was towed he explains Nico has brunch so when he says 24 hours he really means until the next shift. He then argues I have to be a customer, I prove to him I was one. He then proceeds to tell me he is a man multiple times to which I finally respond "Ok... I’m a woman don’t understand why that needs to be said." So bizarre and unprofessional. He gets very aggressive and personal. I ask him numerous times why he is arguing with me, when I should be discussing this with Nico. At this point, I am think he must have towed my car illegally or is being predatory. I say I will pay with credit card and dispute it later because this whole thing has become sketchy. He says I can not pay with credit card now because I said I would dispute it. He then says he's calling the cops on me and that I am trespassing. I tell him that’s fine, the cops can come I have done nothing wrong. I am relieved when the cops come because I assume this is not a legitimate business and I am in the middle of nowhere with an egotistical and unpleasant man. The cops are very kind and polite and tell me legally there isn’t anything I can do. They say this business is on the "up and up" and that the north charleston police even use him. I overhear them discussing lowering the price for me but the owner is still on his power trip. Regardless, I have no problem paying the full amount after I know this is an actual business. I pay cash and get out of there. All of this could have been avoided, if he acted in any professional, civil, normal way. I knew he was the middle man coming in and was fully prepared to pay. A simple business transaction turned into a traumatic one because of this man's ego. When the cops came he did a complete 180 calling me mam etc. I told them if they get any future complaints it will because he was unnecessarily aggressive and rude. He was certainly on a power trip (esp when talking about his manhood) and it could have been a quick, simple interaction but changed into honestly a scary one. *** I only interacted with one man - The owner. Not sure what he is talking about with his management and staff. There was one other man who was in and out of their hut but he did not say one word to me. The owner who responded below was the man who was aggressive, rude, and unprofessional and the only one I interacted with.

Two of your trucks blazed past me a few minutes ago while coming out of Moncks Corner. The speed limit was 50 and I know no one really follows those signs but these two trucks, that were both loaded with a car on the bed and another towed behind, were doing at minimum 65 but more likely something like 70 if not more. They were switching lanes and keeping pace with each other as they drove off into the distance like someone's life depended on it. Is there any reason to get these cars delivered this fast?

AVOID THESE PEOPLE!!!! Tow Driver backed up into my fence right infront of me. Lied to his boss. Boss showed up to my house with no warning, proceeded to call me liar and tried to fight me. Needs to go back where he came from. I'm guessing he is from NY NJ or somewhere near there. Give a local your business these people don't deserve your buisness.

Tow driver was earlier than the quoted time. The tow truck driver was friendly and courteous. He drove me to the tire shop, was polite and personable, dropped me and the car off. Made sure I had everything I needed. Would recommend that company to anyone In need of a tow!

I cannot say enough good things about this company! This is a bit of a story, but trust that it’s worth it! Around a year and a half ago I sold a car in the state of WV to someone who was going to tow it to an impound lot (not from this company of course, this whole situation starts in WV). The man who was going to tow it said he worked on cars and the problem with the car wasn’t as big as we originally thought. He said he would give me more than the impound lot for it to fix it up for his daughter. Wanting to get rid of it and having a new car and a loan I sold it to him not thinking anything about it. Fast forward a year and a half later my mom got a letter in the mail from this company saying they’ve had my jeep in the impound lot since August. I called them panicking and was told the bill was almost $8000. Russell, the guy I talked to, was super calming and reassuring and told me to take it one step at a time, and get a duplicate title for the car. That was a process that took about three weeks. I finally got the duplicate title in the mail and called back to talk to Russell today, and was told the everything would be resolved if I sent $200 and the title! Russell was super kind and worked with me and my situation really well. Such a nice guy!!

Made the mistake of calling this company before reading reviews. Not reliable at all. Spoke with them the first time at 1pm. They agrees to pick up my vehicle in "3 hours". I agreed and began waiting. 5 hrs later and still no tow so I called them. Dispatcher said "guys is on the way...one drop before". 3 hrs later.still no tow. This went on till 11pm. Called them again and the guy blatantly lied and said truck driver had been trying to call me. He then said....almost 12 hours later, that because my car was awd it needed a dolly....that would cost more. I asked why we were asking this so late in the process. He said they could be out at 9:30 next morning. I told them they would not be getting any of my money considering the level of incompetence I had experienced with them so far. I have quite a number of business acquaintances I'll make sure how worthless these guys must be with the negative reviews I've read.

Do you like breaking down on the way to work at 6am and calling a tow truck company for them lie to you and tell you a truck is on the way and then the driver even said he was “5 minutes out” and never showed. Call the worst dispatcher back you could think of for him to tell me they had an “emergency” and were not coming. The worst customer service I have ever seen and that dispatcher should be fired for letting me sit here late to work for over an hour to only find out I’m not getting help like I thought. Do yourself a favor and use Holy City Towing. They don’t lie to you.

First JG towing is excellent jemel the dispatch very professional and helpful also he was very understanding and patient with everything going on with my tow experience. Jr another awesome person took his time to explain everything to me and was very professional that's why I rated the way I did......now on the other hand Devin was very unprofessional and I feel as though he doesn't like his job much. He had a job to do and that was to tow my car which he refused once he got there said his truck couldn't tow my car and I had to call dispatch and request a flatbed truck... Jr had the exact same truck and came in and got the job done no questions asked . Devin needs more training in customer service he was very rude

tony deserves the five stars. thank you for all of your help. my car broke down on the side of the interstate. just recently bought it. not sure what to do in these situations or how anything works. tony helped me out the entire time, while i wasn’t able to get ahold of the dealership i bought the car from. thank you thank you thank you!! you are so appreciated and have been such a great help.
