This establishment & owner/staff display all that is unprofessionalism, inconvenience, untimely, money wasting, without since of community, incompetence, rude and although I have NO PROOF - fraudulent. My simple business with them required multiple calls to a listed contact phone number, only to be told that someone would call you "right back". It WAS NEVER a call "right back". I had to have documents signed & notarized before my business could be completed, yet even AFTER getting the required signed & notarized the owner still would not comply with the instructions of the document. Even after phone governing authority, he still would not comply. After numerous hours (6) of stalling and phoning the same governing authorities to "double check" the instructions that the very same governing body had written, signed, notarized & I presented to him - only then did he agree to abide by the instructions. I'm doing so, added another $300 for vehicle storage because the vehicle was not removed from his property BEFORE 3:00 PM, even though I presented him with signed & notarized documents early that morning. Not an honest, trust worthy or customer service oriented business. I would not recommend this organization to my worst of friends. Just a downright awful, frustrating and sad encounter with this facility and it's staff - just beyond bad!!!
if I could put 0 stars I would. this place was a nightmare to work with. My wrecked vehicle had to be towed here on a Friday, went to the business on Monday to get some of my belongings out of it, one of the workers had my key in his pocket and said the remark of ”we haven’t even gotten to go through your truck yet” .Which I found out to be a LIE once I got to get to my vehicle and I had forgot a piece of expensive jewelry was left in it was gone and also so work stuff that was in the bed of the truck was taken. I questioned them and they of course deny and lie about taking anything. I get in touch with a body shop I want to fix and tow it and let the tow company owner know this 2 days prior and he says I went through your truck trying to find what pendant but didn’t find it. fast foward two days later whenever the body shops tow guy geta there they lie and say owner wasnt there, so he couldn’t get my truck. which he was and then they refused to let them tow my truck and kicked them off the property. I had to call the cops to the place to help get things some what sorted. they over charged outrageously saying it was $900 for towing my vehicle not even 2 miles from where I had wrecked and my vehicle being there 6 days. the cop told them that they over priced and they re write another invoice still over priced for $750. This place is literally a junkyard, and everyone there are jerks.I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS TO ANYONE.The OWNER andALL of his EMPLoYEES are sketchy..
Have called for two days about Towed property (totaled car from an accident) needing to get personal items. Phone number only goes to a towing dispatch service and the company NEVER calls back! And Dispatch is RUDE! But Im sure they have this problem ALOT BECAUSE THE COMPANY IS AWFUL!
Start bringing an attorney or notify the highway patrol.... they Refused to respond to multiple calls as the so called receptionist put me on callback list, which early was a lie because when I finally got a hold of him, it was when I placed the call. Everytime we were able to get answers were just before close and I'm stuck in a hospital, so I can't personally go. Charged only cash to "avoid taxes" and did not disclose this on the first time we finally got a hold of him when he said he has to figure out the cost and will call back. Unreasonable charges on fees which I have recently have found out are illegal due to my medical situation as well as the cash only option. Oh and do these guys even work? Their hours are incorrect on Google and very short
Great place to and prices can't be beat. I've been a loyal customer since 1994. Matter of fact will be heading up there 9/2 start looking for components I'm needing for an engine swap.
I have needed two tires replaced (at different times this year) and they helped make the process as quick as possible! Truly good and knowledgeable people working there.
I came in on a Friday sour of the moment trying to find a fullsize spare tire for my '94 camry wagon. Not only did they find EXACTLY the setup I needed but they made ABSOLUTELY sure the tire was safe. While we waited they talked with me about some rust and how best to restore it and two other cars I was looking to get rid of. He was COMPLETELY honest that right now wasn't the best time based on steel prices. I have never actually had car people be honest with me, it's refreshing and I will 100% be back when I'm fully restoring my wagon!!
Talked to them about a car drove up here from west Ashley for them to tell me “just don’t worry about it” after waiting 30 minutes. Thank you for wasting my time.
WOULD GIVE 0 STARS IF POSSIBLE. These people don't pay their bills and will give you the run around every time you call. It's places like this that give the salvage industry a bad reputation.
Rude, bad attitudes. This place is not a community business, with helping people as its priority, its a junkyard that's run by some real jerks....that needs moved from our lovely city. Moved to the hills and hollars of West Virginia where it will fit perfectly and be right at home. Rudest people in the state. Like to see this business move. Hopefully an outside visitor doesn't make this their first stop in our fair city. If they do, they'll never come back.
