The guy in the booth was absolutely dreadful!! If he doesn't like his job for the love of God put him somewhere else or let him go! Like we are inconveniencing them by bringing them money!! Older lady in the office is rude as well! Definitely wont be making this trip again!
I've been taking my scrap metal here for several years. You will be offloading it yourself, but the prices are fair and people are easy to deal with. Be respectful and you will be respected back.
Went here for the first time, the lady in the office helping me was on a personal call, she barely looked at me the entire time I was there. When they go to pay you they fold your receipt with the cash inside of it. I didn't think anything about it, assumed I could trust the business, it took me 20 min to open everything which is when I realized that they only paid me for 1 pound of bare wire. When I returned the lady in the office did admit that it was her fault. She once again folded everything up and gave it to me through a door. Once I got back into my car I opened the folded paper and realized that she actually still shorted me by 1 more pound. I would have never known if I didn't ask to see everything after I returned. At that point, I wasn't going back in for a third time over 1 pound. I do not recommend this yard.
Will never take my scrap back there again they still from the person to scrapping they don't have good communication and like I said once again they steal from The scrappers horrible place would not recommend it to anybody if you want to your scrap stolen go there
A trailer load of cans 50 dollars and a 16ft trailer please seek another junk yard instead of this one!!!! Plus the workers dont do there jobs it a do it yourself yard! Better business at kingstree
How in the hell do you own a company and have the gate to your business open but yet I get out to go sale my copper and steel and the lady told me y'all are closed and won't be open til Monday next week? 6 days from now? If you can't operate your business and be open daily to the public then maybe the scrapping bisinebu isn't for you. I have heard from other scrap yards that there has been people coming to them left and right because you have been closed the past three weeks. You could have a sign out front there to say that you're closed it would make things so much easier for everyone. I have always liked this company until today. It just beats me how a business is closed due to not having money. Maybe you should sale the things you have there while you still buy? Maybe have trucks coming different days of the week to get your stuff and sale it. Doesn't that seem more reasonable than to close your business for weeks on end to catch up and during those weeks you lose loyal customers? I mean if it wasn't for us selling you our stuff then you wouldn't have money.
Do not use this company..scammers..these people are not legit I've contacted the company on several occasions on what they owe me and all they do is lie I'm lawyering up I ....
EVERY time I come here they try to rip me off by not adding all my items. They really do not have a good system. If you bring cans , batteries and iron you can believe they try to not pay you for the iron.
Very convenient location and the people here are very nice and easy to deal with.
But they now recycle Electronics, or E-scrap, so no more throwing those types of refuse in Berkeley county.
