Good spot right down the road with really reasonable hours. Usually pretty open depending on what time you go.

Great place to dump your junk for free

I've been with my husband Scott a few times, his truck he says is not running, he drives, he says it's his mother Ford Escape. They call it the dump.

I have nothing to complain about. It has been a convenient option to get rid of almost everything! The website could be more detailed hence the photos I added about restrictions.

It's so clean and clearly labeled

FYI They close early even though they are supposed to be open til 7pm

Need to have a way to update hours on a daily basis. We’ve tried to go here when it says open and it’s closed.

Now I am not having to go all way to anderson sc to dump trash since learning about slabtown convenience center

I am not sure what the lady’s name is at the Slabtown Convenience Center but she has always been kind and helpful when she helped us with our disposal needs . We think she is a great asset to the facility.

Pretty clean and staff is helpful with questions.

We had an excellent experience, even took our classic GMC truck there and was pleasantly surprised how nice and clean it was. We had a great conversation with Bobby who takes care of the place. This was by far the nicest convenience/recycle center we have ever been to.

Very large convenient center. Takes all sorts of waste from household to yard. All for free. Saves me a bunch of money paying someone to come pick my trash up once a week, I really appreciate the service here.

Usually quick and easy to dump trash and recycling items. Closed Sundays and Wednesdays.

Great to grab a beer at the end of a long day with a friend.. Relaxing outdoor environment people are nice food is good beer's bit expensive.

1st time there. Asked one of the workers about the center. He was very informative, knowledgeable and helpful. Well definitely return.

I was able to get everything off my trailer and the gentleman there was very helpful!!!

They don't take tires, but pretty much everything else. Oil filters, oil, batteries, coolant to name a few.

Eco-friendly suggestion: Freecycle.org signs at entrance. There is WAY too much non-trash items being thrown away that could absolutely be used by another, or repurposing. I've seen wheelchairs, fencing, lumber, furniture, tools, and way too much more to list. With landfills closed due to being full, why are we letting usable things going to the landfills when they still have use or purpose??

Not noted anywhere on the facility or website is that the facility observes Confederate Memorial Day as a paid holiday which always follows Mother’s Day. When I arrived there the gates were closed and like me, cars were streaming in and turning around like a parade. Got me last year too! I’m putting the oddity on my calendar to alert me that SCC is closed on that day.

This is the waste transfer station not the convienence store next door. Listed hours are wrong, refer to the picture of the sign.

.....Short older man with mustache told me to get back out of his face. Well I was just trying to be nice and talk! One of the rudest people i ever met. If you have a problem then you should be wearing a mask!!

The staff are extremely rude. They act like they own the place and treat you with no respect at all. Last time one guy as working his personal vehicle and would not answer a question. Which bin do I put this in ?

Very clean and plenty of room. Staff is very helpful, you just need to ask them for whatever help you’re needing.

Staff was very helpful and easy to move around facility with vehicle. Never found it over crowded

Have used this place many times over the years and my experience is always the same. Facilities are a 5. Employees are a ZERO. Very unfriendly. Could be a little more friendly in explaining the rules, etc....

Easy in and out. Plenty of room for Maneuvering, friendly service!
