Taylor’s Garage is outstanding. Chris and Ashley are amazing to work with and the service they provide is a 10/10. When you send your kids off to college with their cars it is one additional thing to worry about, and I am thankful to have found a honest mechanic they can turn to. With all of the positive reviews, I was a little skeptical and thought it might be too good to be true, it is not! Chris is truly an honest mechanic. He told me that he became a mechanic because he was once screwed by a mechanic. If you have kids at URI or are all local, I highly recommend Taylor’s Garage. Thanks for everything Chris & Ashley.

Brought my vehicle in for an oil change and a flat tire . Had the car back before 2:00 . Excellent mechanic Chris and office manager Ashley. AND prices very reasonable. It's why I keep going back .
We had a leaky tire far from home and remembered passing by this service station every time we visit Narragansett. Chris was nice enough to fit us in for a patch at the end of the day -- we were departing early the next morning -- and the car was finished in about 15 minutes and for a very reasonable cost. Every town should have an old-school place like Taylor's Garage!
Best of the best! Chris worked with me through horror show issues I had with not one, but two vehicles! Alway calm, communicative and helpful.

I want to give a a shout out to the owner Chris who fixed my vehicle & honest about the pricing. He kept me in the loop the whole way through prior to bringing my car there it was barely drivable and now it’s drivable. I would highly recommend anyone that needs work on their vehicle to go to Taylors Garage. I think you again, Chris.
I've had car issues TWICE in the past 4 months and both times I've shown up unexpected without an appointment . TWICE I was back on the road in an extremely speedy manner with professional results and respect . TWICE the rates were reasonable and TWICE I was notified of my cars progress . I would highly recommend Taylor's Garage ....TWICE !
I had a good deal of noise when braking when I called Taylor’s Garage. They had me bring my car in that day to examine the car. Well, I needed rear brakes and rotors. My car was repaired by 3:30 that day! Excellent customer service! Another time they recommended Midland Transmission for
new transmission fluid. Pleasant and honest person there also. I highly recommend the nice people at Taylor’s Garage!
Absolutely 5 stars. Called 5 or so mechanics in the area and no one could take me for just a minor fix. Called Taylor’s garage and they saw me 10 minutes later. Would recommend them to anyone!
I would highly recommend Taylors garage!! they were so professional, reasonable and honest! my daughter had a problem with her car and I called and they were wonderful they said bring the car right over and we will take care of your daughters car. very comforting to know you can trust where you bring your car especially when my daughter goes to school there and I had no idea what mechanic to call so far away. Someone recommended Taylors garage to me and I am so glad they did! thank you for everything!! I am very grateful for everything you did!!
An unfortunate automobile breakdown in an infamiliar place brought me to Taylor's Garage, and my experience was very positive, under the circumstances. Ray was honest and kind and exceeded my expectations. I truly felt that the issue I was dealing with was important to him.
I’m a college student at URI and came into Taylors last week after my cars fuel pump gave out. I sat with Ray for 3 hours as I waited for a ride, however the 3 hours was filled with conversation and talks that truly made me realize how great of a guy he is and how much he is trying to help and move the community not just his business forward. I’m grateful I got the chance to talk to him and see how much he actually cares for those he is working with and how much he values the work he does.
Stopped in last week to make an appointment for an oil change.
Went today at 11 and had a great time hanging out while the oil change was done. Highly recommend. This will be my go-to shop from now on. Thank you!

We were on vacation and needed tire repair. They got us in right away and were very professional, courteous,, and told us local places to go see and eat. We were in and out in 10 minutes. We highly recommend this shop!
Quick, timely, professional, family. Words I would use to describe Taylor's garage. I am from out of town and I was stuck with no way to get home. Ray and Cheryl took my Jeep in and had it out in under 2 days time and I am so greatful that they could help. Nobody else would even look at it but Ray and Cheryl had my back and I appreciate them getting me back on the road! To all the ladies on the road, this is an honest establishment that will take care of you and not give you the run around. Ray explained in detail what was wrong, how to fix it, and was Incredibly reasonable. To all the ladies, Ray and Cheryl are your stop! Thanks so much Ray and Cheryl I'll never forgot you two.
Great people at this garage. Pulled in with a tire needing a plug. Stopped what they were doing and got right on it.

I'm a college student who knows nothing about cars. I took my 2001 Ford in and asked them to take a look and make sure it was ok for my long drive home. Ray walked me through checking each fluid and showed me what I should be checking for. He was extremely friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend Taylor's Garage for any student who needs help with their car.
Hi fellow reviewer's I paid $1399 for an exhaust system put on an this place said it came with a full warranty from front to back. So I paid thinking I got peace of mind but instead to be told the parts are not covered an to make matters worse I gave them $279 for nothing or I couldn't take my car home. So please beware also the man who pumped gas laughed when I said you guys should honor what you say. Bottom line they know they are one of the few places to go to in town an take advantage of people. And i gave them 3 chances all my reviews are positive except this one think about that.
