I won an oil change in a raffle. I’ve am a native to the area and have never heard of Mike’s. It’s off the beaten path so unless you know about them you wouldn’t just happen to drive by. Anyway, I made an appointment for today and brought my husband’s 171,000 mile beat up truck in. First and foremost, I was treated as if I were a paying customer. They didn’t make me feel any type of way about coming in for a free service on a Friday afternoon. I joked about how the truck is basically a rust bucket under the paint and to not accidentally snap anything while servicing it. He told me it would take about an hour and directed me to a nearby plaza that was a few short steps away for some shopping and a coffee. I returned in about 40 minutes and decided to go sit inside and wait. It was comfy, quiet and air conditioned. It was exactly an hour when the mechanic returned my keys to the front office and my service was complete. They did acknowledge how much rust it had and how every service light that the truck has was lit up like a Xmas tree. They DID NOT try and push any other service on me. I never once felt like I do when I go to the actually dealership with my own truck. The conversation was pleasant, respectful and friendly. I need a transmission flush and will def be bringing my truck to them for service. Thank you guys so very much! I appreciate it!

I can not say enough about Mike and his staff at Mike's Service Auto Body!!!!! My son was in a pretty bad car accident just one month ago in Rhode Island. Being that I was in NY and he was in RI at the time, I didn't know what to do. Mike helped me through the entire process from picking up the jeep at the tow yard, communicating with my insurance agent, and working with the insurance adjuster to get the process moving forward quickly to get the jeep back on the road. The jeep looks better than when we drove it out of the dealership. Mike was so helpful, as I had to navigate through RI insurance laws which are quite different from NY. I recently discovered. Mike's does great work, with the main focus on making the customer happy - especially after damage to your vehicle. Mike knows how to deal with insurance companies professionally, so if you're worried/stressed about the process, he is 110% able to communicate between insurance and you. Mike has always taken care of my fleet of commercial vehicles, servicing them in a timely manner so that we have no downtime. Recently he cared for some extensive bodywork to my wife’s 2018 Murano. WOW. Whole side. of car was damaged by a telephone pole. Looks brand new. Quick turn around. Came in under budget. Super easy. This was our second great experience with Mike and his crew. Very highly recommended.

During a snowstorm my front tires became buried in mud and I was unable to get out. People called AAA who said they'd be there in 1.5 hours, called another towing company who said they'd be there in 2 hours. I called Mike's and was told someone would be there in 20 min. Mike's tow truck was there in 15 min. and towed me out of the muddy hole. Then, when I tried to start the car it would not start. They towed me back to their shop, charged my car to get it started and I was on my way. It was a bad day, my shoes and jeans were covered in mud, it was snowing, I was cold. They offered me a coffee when I got to the shop and friendliness which made me feel a bit less moody from my experience. Then, when I offered to pay extra for the jump start I was told "don't worry about it". If you ever need a tow in the Narragansett area I highly recommend calling this place. Their friendly, caring attitude really restored my faith in people. Thanks again guys!

After my 2018 Ram was hit while parked, I brought it to Mike’s. Mike made the whole process very easy. I dropped off my truck they had a rental there ready for me. They handled the insurance claim. I Had my truck back in a few days. The truck looks as good as new.

I went to Mike's Auto Body with half of a front bumper and a lot of shame. My car deserved better than me running it into an icy snowbank. Mike personally saw to it that my bumper was fixed (for the lowest cost out of all of the places that I went for quotes) and that the color of the paint would match the rest of my car. If you know anything about car paint, you know that getting a new part to match is nearly impossible. He worked his magic and my car looks perfect. The service was quick and the people were friendly. Just picked up my car after being repaired and it looks great. MIke and his employees did a super job of handling my insurance claim. Are you someone who doesn't really know much about cars but knows that they will break down from time to time and that you'll need a trusted advisor to steer you when this occurs because you are mostly car-illiterate? Are you someone who tends not to pay really close attention to the service updates that you are supposed to get every X number of miles? Are you someone who fears car dealerships or fast oil-changes places because you sense that they are always selling you the most expensive repair? If you are any of these people (like me), then Mike's is honestly the place for you. We have taken four different cars here for the past eight years. My sense is that we're still relatively new to Mike's and that many of their customers have being taking their cars there much longer. Mike's is a mechanic you can trust. They give you the straight dirt. Lauren in the office is the most helpful person I've ever worked with when it comes to cars. She will tell you what is wrong with your car, why, how much it will cost to fix it, and what can be done, minimally, to repair it, if that's what you're looking for (as I often am). Lauren is a goldmine for a car consumer like me. (I hope she is being paid well because she honestly hold that place together and delivers what I consider the key value of the service there.). These other folks who have posted negative reviews--I'm sure that they have their stories, but my experience has been nothing but positive. I cannot recommend Mike's enough. The owner once gave me a ride back to my house when I was stranded at the shop and couldn't get home while they repaired my car. That's the kind of business they run. Trust them. They'll take care of you and serve you well and fairly.

My brand new car required a new passenger side door and front quarter panel due to a car accident. Mike's was able to make my car look like it did when I bought it, brand new! You can not tell there was any damage to the car what so ever. The customer service is excellent and they go above and beyond to make sure they can work with your schedule.
