This auto zone is the worst place for customer service people are not train to do anything. On 9/23/2025 I went to this auto zone just to get a battery to replace my battery. They told me they can put it on for me so I agreed, but one of the guys told me he was not gonna be able to replace for me because he had a back pain but he would tell a girl to do it instead, at the end they told me they couldn't put it on Because "They didnt have the right tools" to do it. And the girl without asking me I didn't even notice she open my car she placed the battery on my front seat on top of some belongings I had on my seat . I had never deal with a battery so I didnt even imagine that the battery was gonna spill acid all over my car seat. I went back and told them what happened and the district manager told me to get a estimate to change the seat and they were gonna pay me for my belongings I waited for like a month for an answer and he kept saying he was dealing with the company to pay me now after 2 months he's saying something different they sent me to check for an estimate for replacing my seat and supposedly they were going to pay for everything now they dont want to do what they said they were going to do. He was just waisting my time. My whole seat its falling apart and im getting healthy issues because of it and they dont care. Do not go to this place this people dont care about their customer. They are not train to do their Job right and they won't fix your issue for their convenience they will only care about what benefits them.

We were in your Park Ave store today (11/8/2025) between 1-1:30pm. Cranston store #5025. There was a very short line at the time. One of the workers offered to check us out, and took an extra moment to answer a question about an air filter we needed. Mid-transaction, someone in the back of the store began to scream at our cashier, literally scream, tell him he had to do something in the back, and even though our cashier told him he was with a customer the person in back continued to scream at him, saying things like "I'm sick of this, bro. Just clock out and go home if you're not gonna do your job" The kid was HELPING CUSTOMERS. It was awkward and embarrassing for everyone who witnessed this, and so incredibly unprofessional on the part of the person who was yelling.
Our cashier then cancelled our unfinished transaction so he could go back to where apparently he was "supposed" to be because I guess that was more important than helping customers?
At this point there was a VERY long line and no cashier to help us at all. There were many witnesses to this upsetting scene, workers and customers alike. Most of us agreed that this had been uncalled for, when a very nice cashier was doing his JOB.
Thanks to the transaction being cancelled, we didn't get our questions answered in full and now have to figure it out ourselves.
It has cast a pall over the entire day, probably for everyone involved.
Personally, I'd fire the screamer, but not until he apologized to his coworker for putting him in such a terrible position. His actions were THAT offensive and off-putting. But at the very least I want to assure you that your store has lost several customers because of a ten-minute experience in this Park Ave. store. We'll for sure never go there again, and this was a location we regularly frequented. Not any more.Nov 08, 2025 -
Have to say forgot managers name but she showed me how to get free new battery for my 56 buick that was dead. She totally respected me carrying in battery and got me a deal that I didnt know was available.

Waste of money buying duralast gold brake pads for 75 dollars to get a lifetime warranty replacement set. They don’t stand by the lifetime warranty for any reason. They told me someone already made a claim on my pads. Guess what I installed them and never changed them so clearly something is awry with their system. I just went to advanced auto parts instead.

I had a terrible experience at one store and then a completely different experience at another … Taunton Ave in E prov on a Sunday afternoon had the two most awsome young men working there… excellent costumer service,.

My mom took her car here to swap out her battery. They had the battery but the manager Devon claimed he didn’t have the “tools” to swap them. So they sent her to the 777 Cranston st location where he told my mom that they would have the battery. She towed her car to that location and they didn’t have the battery. Luckily the manager at the 777 Cranston st location, went above and beyond to helping my mom go to the park ave location, exchange the batteries and was able to swap it for her. Just go to the 777 Cranston st location for better customer service.

Honestly very disappointed with the staff.
I came inside with a battery asking for a charge nicely. They took my battery and placed it and I had patience to ask them a question. Comes to find out the very next day upon arriving and asking them for my battery back and they DONT have it? How do you just hand off a battery to someone which out verifying? Then told me to wait a day later to have it figured out. Last time I come to this place after I get a reimbursement.Apr 13, 2025 -

Stopped in to get a wiper blade. Grabbed the first one i saw. Staff person helped me by making sure i got the right one. Second staff person further helped me by double checking and then getting me a less expensive version, and then put it on for me. Thank you guys and gal so very much.

On their website they said they have it in stock, went there and asked if they have the part took them a long time to look for the part and came back to tell me they don’t have it in stock. Gave me attitude when i asked them if they can update the website so people wont waste their time to go to their store waste of time

I was at AutoZone today. English is not spoken in the store. I was born in a different country and I think if you come here you should speak English. The only one of any accreditation is your employee Franciesco. He spoke English and was extremely helpful. Also the woman working also spoke English. If you come here whether it is for freedom or English dollar learn to speak the language

If i could give this zero stars I would. Today I purchased a new battery for my key fob and the employee who changed it completely broke it. There are chunks missing and the inside is completely exposed. I understand things happen but the employees were rude, and did not apologize. A key fob replacement can be $200-$300 and all the employees could say, was “well it still works and it’s not too expensive to fix.” The way they handled it was so unprofessional and they treated me like I was the problem. I HIGHLY DONT RECOMMEND THIS STORE TO ANYONE

If i could give it 0 stars i would.The last 3 times I went in there they didn't have what I needed in stock. Simple oil filters and air filters. The customer service is awful. You can hear them in the back chit chatting, swearing, talking about vulgar things while they have a line of customers waiting. I only go because it's 2 streets over from me but I will not return. Most of the good workers went over to o reilys. Much better service there.

Worst place to shop for parts. They don’t care about their costumers.
So I was at work thought I’d place an online order so I can just grab the oil and oil filter on my way home. I call the store after my shift ends. I keep getting put on hold for over 20mins finally I am told my order is ready. When I arrive at the store. I had to wait and the staff still had to go pick my order and I waited some more. Finally I was able to go home but it was raining. When I was finally able to change my oil and was ready to put in the new oil filter it would not fit. I looked and it was not the right size it was not the right filter that was on my receipt. Now I can not drive since I took all the oil out of my car already. I called the store and they told me they don’t deliver so their is nothing they can do. I call costumer support and I am told oh yes we will give you a gift card and you can order this online for same day shipping. I do that and when I go to check out I am told I can not use a gift card for same day shipping and that I will be charged over $16 for an $8 dollar oil filter to be delivered same day so I can drive me car…… wow so give your customers the wrong part and when they need to order the right part online over charge them. I had a check engine light up and went to AutoZone, (being it was Sunday) to see if they could help me. A young man named, Victor, was right on it! He immediately did a diagnostic, and gave me a print-out of the results. He even suggested calling them on Monday morning, for places that could do the repairs! I was VERY impressed with his professionalism, courtesy, and concern for my safety of driving my car, until I got the work done. Because of him, I will highly recommend AutoZone to my friends!!!

I found a lot of products at AutoZone, prices are ok and yes a little above average but still ok . No empty shelves and store looks ok .
Some cleaning in and out will help

Eh.. pretty typical. One thing I'd like to mention is that when I went to check out my numerous items, I went to the closed register in error (I didn't know where to go because no one was behind the counter). Finally, the clerk appeared and directed me to the correct register. I had to pick everything up and carry my items over, and he didn't even help me bring my things over. Yes, I am perfectly capable of doing so myself, but that was poor customer service, in my opinion.

The staff is helpful. However, I couldn't use their rewards card because my items totaled less than $20. I never heard of such a thing at a store that sells many things that cost less than $20.

Employer behind the desk was extremely rude. I had a worker helping me and he didn’t grab two light bulbs so I told him I needed two nicely. He without hesitation walked back over to grab one. The other employee chimed in and said rudely “you need anything else since you keep making him walk back and forth for you.” Im never going there again the manager stood there and watched the employee bad mouth me when all I asked for was some help. Isn’t that their job??

It's disgusting how you're treating your employees. Y'all should be ashamed. I went in there today and saw the young man behind the counter and he was visibly stressed out due to others fighting with him over not wanting to wear their masks. And I know there isnt anything he can do about it without fear of losing his job. Y'all trying to finesse this poor kid.
