I brought in my brand new car to be fixed after an extremely minor accident, as I was referred to them by the Kia dealership in Johnston. There was very minimal damage, so I was thinking it would be a 7-day turnaround, at most.
It took 14 days for them to finish my car. As I approached the 2 week mark, I began calling to see when I could pick up my vehicle. They would consistently tell me it would be done by ‘the end of the day’, and then I would not hear from them again - until I called them back.
I had to tell them that I was going to pick up my car on Day 14, no excuses, for it to finally be ready. When I received it, my leather seats were filled with dimples - probably due to car parts resting on them for the two weeks.
Extremely frustrating. Horrible customer service. I will never recommend someone come here.
I have a beautiful 2020 Jeep Wrangler I brought it here, they had it for 3 weeks never a phone call in three weeks.. when it was done the dest didn't know what was going on and I got the jeep back and the doors are a different color.. discussed!!!!

My 2013 Kia Optima looks brand new! Factory paint was peeling around windshield & door. We were lucky to find George at Auto Paint RI. He knew just what was needed to work with KIA & to provide professional paint repair, restoring my Pearl White paint. When George walked us into shop we were amazed at how clean everything was. This business is the best. I dropped off my car off on Monday and got it back on Tuesday the following week. When I saw it you could not tell I was rear ended. The paint matched exactly. Very friendly and professional. Took the time to answer my questions.
I've taken various cars to AutoPaint RI for body work over the years and every time has been a positive experience. They are professional and go above and beyond to ensure satisfaction. When I picked up my car recently, I joked that I should trade it in now because it looks as good as when I bought it four years ago! They even touched up some minor scratches they found that had nothing to do with the requested repair. They estimated it would take a week for the repair, but they actually got it done a couple of days early. The shop is immaculate. A shout out to Kenny, Silvana, Paul and George for a great experience. I highly recommend AutoPaint RI!
Brought car to AutoPaint RI for cosmetic painting and buffing.
AutoPaint RI had the car for 10 days, there was little or no communication from AutoPaint RI.
On the 10th day we demanded the car, and was first told they didn't know what was going on, then like a miracle, someone advised us the car was ready .
When we went to pick up the car, AutoPaint RI tried to blame everything on the insurance company and advised us that they were looking for more money from the insurance company !
The paint and buffing job that AutoPaint RI did was not as good as it should have been,and AutoPaint RI let it slip that they were short painters and that the manager was doing the painting !
I went to get gas today and the gas flap wouldn't open properly, they evidently used too much paint !
AutoPaint RI are not accredited members of the Better Business Bureau and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone !
If I could give 10 stars I would. By far the absolute best experience I have ever had at any business in my 50 years on this planet. I dealt with George mostly and he is amazing. The shop is immaculate, everyone was very pleasant professional and passionate about what they do. The quality of the work is unmatched. My Mercedes looked better when it left than when it arrived. It is absolutely perfect. I cannot say enough about this business. If you need an auto body shop this is the best you will EVER find.

My vehicle was in need of some fender and suspension work since it was un drivable. The service was impeccable and it was finished down to its final detail in little to no time, felt like I just bought it brand new.
Let me start off by saying only bring my car to auto paint, whenever I'm in a fender-bender or something more auto paint is always there to take my car in and get it ready for the streets again. Their professional courteous and empathetic staff is what keeps me going back; Besides the amazing services they provide. It's rare that I would write a review before actually having the service performed but in this case I was so impressed by the manager George that I felt it worthy to speak up. As a business owner, I fully understand the importance of first impressions. I also understand that the impressions we get are the direct results of the person in charge. In this case that would be George. The shop was hospital clean, something I have never seen in an auto repair shop. You could literally eat off the floor! Everyone had amazing attitudes and it was evident that the people that work there take pride in their jobs and themselves. This is the way a business should be run! I have no doubt that my repairs will mimic what I have seen so far! Great job!
We have used Auto Paint Ri many times. Kenny and his team are very personable, professional, and knowledgeable in all areas of auto body work. When mechanical work is needed he uses reputable dealerships as needed. Most recently they had worked on our Buick LaCrosse, the car was returned in showroom condition in a very timely manner. There was an issue with electronics due to error lights. This went on for months to no fault of the auto body shop, however the team at Auto Paint stayed the course and involved arranging all appointments, assuring the dealership arranged transportation for us while the had our car...happy to report error lights finally corrected... Thank you Kenny, Paul, And Sylvana, I apologize If I spelled her name incorrectly... when in need please give them a call... Trust is a key factor here...
I was in an accident a week ago and not even a week later my Jeep was fixed and looked absolutely perfect. The shop is completely spotless and clean. The staff was more than helpful and really put me at ease during such a difficult time. Thank you Auto Paint RI!
This is absolutely the cleanest body shop anywhere, their work is fantastic, and the staff is phenomenal. They do everything the way it's supposed to be done. Look at the shop photos posted and if you're still not convinced, stop by and see it in person. You will be impressed.
Had these guys do a bumper cover and everybody else had told me 3 weeks. I sent an email out on a Saturday and Ken the owner had a quote back to me Monday morning. George kept in contact with me the whole time and the work was phenomenal. Can't recommend them enough!

Autopaint RI was the best experience I ever had when it comes to dealing with car garages. I was a little shaken up after my accident but Ken and Sylvanna took care of everything for me, and George did a spectacular job fixing my car up. From the customer service to the clean shop to the quick timetable - Autopaint RI made the whole process as painless as possible and now my car is better than new.
