I'm not impressed anymore with them, I used to be a big fan and did all my car parts shopping here untill the last time I had to get parts for my brakes and every caliper I bought from them was defective and it cost me a lot putting on and taking off and using the warentee going up and coming back, just such a waste of my time and money, so disappointed, I cant even begin to explain how horrible the experience was. Id swear, stay away! and I'm not hard to get along with and I understand people make mistakes but when it's 3 in a row of the same brand, that's a shame!

Great experience at Advance Auto! I ordered online and picked up in store with no hassle. The staff was friendly and even helped install my windshield wipers and add windshield wiper fluid. Quick, easy, and great customer service. Definitely appreciated the extra help!

I used to be a commercial customer, but not anymore. The customer service here is some of the worst I’ve dealt with. I was repeatedly told there were no drivers available to deliver to my location even though I’m just 10 minutes down the road. I spoke with the area manager who said it would be resolved, but nothing ever changed. I placed multiple delivery orders that never showed up and ended up just getting canceled. I can't do business with a company like that when my repairs rely on their items being delivered in a timely manner. Eventually, I closed my account and switched to AZ. This location used to be great, but unfortunately, it’s gone downhill.

Superb customer service. When my battery was going bad, they tested it and were able to diagnose that the alternator was the root cause. NAPA refused to even look, told me to bring it inside even though I mentioned I wasn't equipped with tools. Advance took care of me, and did it with a smile. The timing wasn't the best, I had this happen about 1:00 and was leaving for a trip the next day. Taking it home wasn't an option because the battery was dying and wasn't getting recharged. The gentleman, Shane, that tested my battery called several different garages to find a mechanic that could get it done. He went above and beyond to help out. Grateful to have had his help today. Thank you.

Last I knew kids shouldn’t be at the store just because the Dad has to work. Unprofessional and it is child endangerment. What if something falls on that little kid. The guy also sells parts more than half off as long as the head store manager isn’t there. Don’t forget about all those chemicals.

Glad they had everything we needed, but the one staff member made us feel uncomfortable! The little jab comments that were made, more than once at that, as if we were trying to steal or something? I didn't even have my purse along, so it was very uncomfortable. I've just never experienced that before especially in an auto parts store that has a device that notifies the entire store if you would?! Fortunately the other fella was professional and helped us with what we needed! It was a very awkward experience that had me and my partner asking each other as soon as we left the store WHAT JUST HAPPENED!?!

Kost tire intentionally broke my wiper fluid dispensers to push parts they worked perfectly fine when the car came in the gentleman at the counter gave me a few senerios on how it could have happened then looked at the parts an confirmed that it was most likely intentional long story short avoid kost like the plauge an when Randy who should be fired has his guys break stuff on your car question it an have it looked at to document their illegal actions

Had some issues with my spark plugs, wipers, and a brake system. They were amazing at helping me find the right parts and even helping me install the plugs and wipers. 5/5 will be coming back again.

This location actually had me in the system even though this is the first time I have shopped at this location. Used a Speed Perks Rewards coupon. Used the Rebate Center in the app. As long as you have your store receipt info to type in, rebates are entered within 5 minutes of your time. Easy.

Had an issue at Sunbury 4th st. location. I came here and the lady behid the counter who helped me was amazing. She had the best customer service skills. She was very nice and is still helping me with my key fob issue that Sunbury store caused. I will go back here even though its further. She was so good. This woman deserves a raise. I appreciate this employee and think others could learn customer service from her.

The cashier requested assistance from her manager several times. The manager was very dismissive of her employee and did not want to help her while she was struggling with my checkout process. The employee remained very calm during the whole process and attempted to problem solve on her own while the manager on duty refused to take even a moment of her time to assist in any way at all. No wonder they have a help wanted sign on the door with "management" like this.

We went in to have the computer reset on a Honda Civic Hybrid. Turns out they can't or don't do that. They can only tell what errors it was giving and why. It did take us longer than we had expected even though we were the only customers but I think it was because the poor kids arm was in a sling. The other guy could have come out instead but regardless the kid was friendly, knowledgeable and almost always smiling.

I asked the person to check our battery on our Ford Escape...the person came right out and had trouble hooking up the battery tester to our battery since it sets back in the engine compartment...finally the person said turn on the engine...i did...after it was running couple of minutes.. The person said our battery was good...the person did not give us a printed diagnostic of our battery nor did the person ever print one out...so we took the person word our battery was good...needless to say that same nite we went to a drive in to see a movie..we put the auxiliary on to listen to the car radio...5 minutes the radio shut down saying we had low electric...my question is if she said our battery was in good condition why would it shut down the radio...to my thinking the alternator is keeping the battery going...but once the car engine is off battery does not keep the charge...to me the person should have said we needed a battery but that never happened!!!!!

The online site said they had the parts. I made the order inside the store. 3 items. The kid could find only 2 items. they were just headlights and turn signals bulbs but the other item was a ABS brake sensor. (Go to Walmart their prices are alot cheaper for the same light bulbs.) So I had to cancel the order. And had to wait a couple days to get my $100 back. How about keeping your inventory updated.

There is nothing on your site stating your store policy has changed, forcing people to wear masks while in your store. Yes, it is required by the CDC and the governor, however it is not a law and it is wrong to refuse service or admission to your store if someone doesn't have a mask. Unless your store policy has changed it is actually against the governors order for you to refuse admittance to your store, yet you do. It is only if your corporate changed the entire store policy are you allowed to refuse a customer if they don't have a mask.

Went in to purchase a headlight bulb and side marker bulb last week. Went to the counter and told them exact year, make and model of my car. Was told what to purchase and did so. Got home to realize both were wrong. When I attempted to return them, they wouldn't take the headlight bulb back because the package had been opened. I won't be returning to any Advanced Autos anytime soon.

Very poor service! Went in for fuses bc I had two fuses out and the guy didnt even know what to look for.. let alone just stood there looking over my shoulder and playing with a tube! My dad was mechanic ne he wouldn't treat someone this way.. and I cant bring him.back from the dead and I'm depending on others to help me find the right parts for my car! And if this guys can do his job than maybe he needs to find something different! Dont just stand there and stare and act like u know what ur doing! When u clearly dont!!

Beware my son has a 97 Grand Prix went in to and asked associate for bulbs for his car. He looked it up and he bought bulbs for around 60.00 however the bulbs he sold him can't be used in cars older than 2007.He is in college which is 4 hours away and had to get bulbs up there when his bulds caused issues.He came home tried to return them which even though the associate gave him the wrong bulbs they will not take them back. MAYBE THEY SHOULD TRAIN there people.

I'd have to say the customer service is okay when the right folks are working there. I'm just disappointed in their ability to satisfy the customer which seems to be more of a management issue and a lack of foresight from their corporate offices. They promote a DIY image but the last three times I was there I was disappointed every time. The first time I went into get my battery checked. One employee was checking another customer's battery at the time and when I asked one of the other 4 employees just huddled around the counter talking they said that (don't remember the name) was the only one who knew how to do it and that he was leaving after he was done with the other customer. So I went to Autozone and they checked it right away. Strike One in my book. Next time I went in and asked for MAF cleaner, of course they didn't have it in stock and they told me it wouldn't be in until Wednesday (4 days later). How hard is it to keep your shelves stocked with MAF cleaner? Strike 2, now mind you I bought 5 quarts of oil, an air filter, an oil filter and spark plug cables that day from them and keep in mind that it is recommended to clean your MAF sensor every time you change your air filter. So I went to Autozone and they had plenty of MAF cleaner. So when I get home to clean my MAF sensor I realize that my T20 star bit tamper proof tool is stripped and I need a new one. Stupid me goes back to Advanced Autoparts in Selinsgrove thinking they'll have that tool (I mean, why wouldn't they since they promote a DIY image?). Guess what, they didn't have it and they don't even carry it. Strike 3. So I go to AutoZone up the strip and BAM, they have it and they even tell me I can return it if it's not the right size to do the job. Sorry Advance, but you lost my business for good and if I would have truly been fair I should have returned everything I bought from you and picked it up at Autozone but I kept it civil. But in the end you've lost my business and I will not recommend your services to my friends or random folks I meet. You maybe closer to my home but I'll still save a lot more time by driving the extra 4 miles to Autozone in Shamokin Dam.
