Broke down on the strip with a blown water pump, 40 miles from home, on a Friday. Ron hooked me up with a tow, and then made it a priority to get the car fixed. By Monday, it was fixed and ready to drive. Highly recommended!
I wouldn't trust our cars with any other mechanic. When other mechanics tried to sell us on thousands of dollars of work, Ron was honest and told us what really needed to be done. We went from facing a $6,000 "recommended" bill from another garage to a couple hundred bucks. Honest, straight forward, and goes above and beyond when we need it. I'd give more than 5 stars if I could!
Having grown up in a body shop and having several family members who are mechanics, I think I have a pretty good 'feel' when someone is talking out their backside. Ron and the guys at Brubakers are legit. One of the few shops around that I trust with our vehicles.
I took my Audi A6 in for an air intake hose and a loss of power issue. I am glad I did because there was an problem with my turbo and a problem with my water pump. They were very honest about what was wrong and the cost to repair it. I knew step by step what needed to be done.
I didn't know of any places that looked at foreign cars near Selinsgrove before I found Brubaker's. I am very pleased with the high level of professionalism. I will definitely use them in the future.
In 2022, it was great to find Nathan and his shop - Ewing Alignment & Auto Repair, a local mechanic to work on my German auto, without having to travel to the dealer (and pay dealer prices) for routine auto maintenance. Unfortunately, a year later, he messaged me to tell me he’d be closing – but not to worry, because Brubaker’s Auto Repair bought his business and would be operating in the same location. He said he’d share my vehicle history and details and that I’d be in good hands. He was right!
Now run by Ron, Brubaker's Auto Repair has continued to take good care of me and my vehicle. Annual inspections, oil repairs, and maintenance are a breeze. He’s very fair on pricing, great at getting back to customers, and is high-tech for convenient scheduling, messaging, etc. I would highly recommend Brubaker’s for anyone in the area!
Brubakers has been awesome! Always friendly and helpful service. They work well to accommodate your needs in a fast as possible manner. They replaced my mom's motor in a few days. He always takes care of our vehicles for inspection and repairs. Great business. Highly recommend.
I work at a restaurant across the parking lot from the garage, my battery died the night before. One of my employees is a DIY mechanic, he couldn’t get the battery out of my car. Thankfully I remembered Brubakers across the parking lot, I explained the situation Mr. Brubaker dropped everything he was doing to help me, he jumped the battery and directed me to get the correct battery for my car, he squeezed me in to the schedule and a few hours later I had my car running perfectly again. Thank you.

Friendly, helpful service at a reasonable price. You couldn’t ask for more, right? Well, the folks at Brubaker’s actually provided more going above and beyond to help us with logistics when we got stuck away from home. They also communicated with us really well. I’d go there again and recommend to others. This is the way a business should be run!

I don't live in Pa but my car broke down in the area and I was recommended to go here from the persons home I broke down in front of. Ron was friendly and kept me up to date with what was going on with my vehicle. If I lived in the area this would be my garage.

Ron was great when our broke town unexpectedly. He is professional and courteous. Being from out of town he made quick repairs that were fair in price and even came in on his day off so we could get our car. Wished he was in our town!!

Ron and his team are always friendly and courteous. They communicate thoroughly through every step. I don’t worry that they are trying to take advantage. They even go so far as to let me know what is likely the next thing that will take work at the next visit so I can be prepared. Very organized and definitely highly recommended.
