The driver was young, but well trained. He got my SUV on the flatbed and dropped off at the mechanics without any issues. They took a little longer to get to my car than quoted, but all other towing companies either didn’t have a driver available or didn’t pick up. It was 8:00PM, in a nice neighborhood. I’m glad Frostys was able to help. Cost was $150.
My alternator went in the middle of a 3 way stop, blocking traffic. Called AAA they strung me along on a 10 minute phone call just to tell me they’d be out in 3-4 hours. Immediately after I Called Frosty’s, Guy I talked to on the phone was well collected and professional. Said they’d be out in 45 minutes, which was a relief compared to AAA 3-4 hour window. Gave a price that I found very fair and was happy to pay. I appreciate that in this business especially because they’re dealing with vulnerable customers, I would have paid almost anything. Driver showed up, also very professional and confident. Stopped traffic and loaded my SUV swiftly and was out of there in less than 5 minutes 🐐 .
Wasted my time!!! Tells me over the phone that the very least I could get for my running/starting car is $425. Gets to me, hooks it up, does their walk around to confirm everything was good(and it was) and has the nerve to tell me $200. Made them unhook my car immediately! Play with someone else! Would never recommend. UPDATE!!!! PSA! If you want a company that is true to their word and pays what they say they will, go to Peddle. Getting $600 for my “not good” running/starting/drivable car with brand new parts and battery. Never settle for less than from a “company” especially a dishonest one. Again, would never recommend.
