We did the brewery “VIP tasting” if that’s what you want to call it. Our drive (30 min) was longer than the tour/tasting. They essentially take you to a musty basement to see where it’s brewed. The beer is not very good and the pairings are half an airplane cookie, apricots (gross), 2 spicy cheeses and a smoked cheese. They also just give you the pairings and leave you on your own. The laughs at how bad it was made it worthwhile. Pics from the “tour”… Maybe the wine is better

These folks really don’t care about their customers. They plan a Cupid’s ball and then cancel it one day before leaving everybody that bought tickets hanging with nowhere to go on Valentine’s Day because everything is booked terrible customer service never will I step foot in this business again, and I suggest you do the same they don’t give a shit about their customers.

It’s not actually in Hershey, which feels a bit misleading. Overall, it was not a great experience. The person who gave us the tour came across as a little domineering, almost like we weren’t supposed to question anything. It felt like, “Yes, we’re not in Hershey, don’t mention it. Here’s some wine, and don’t say if you don’t like it.” The room in the back seemed very old, and I couldn’t help but wonder if it might have regular lead based paint. I grew up in a home from the 1940s and remember that dry, crackly texture of old paint. While I didn’t see any actual chipping or peeling, and of course nothing was in the food, it was still uncomfortable being in a space that felt that way. The whole experience just wasn’t enjoyable. She seemed to express zero empathy for the fact I didn't have a coat on a freezing day. I left it in the car because I didn't think I'd need it. She should have said something because I didn't understand we were going to be in the freezing cold. I declined that part and we went back inside.

They advertise wine tastings yet when you get there they say they only do wine flights. You sit in this big banquet hall that sucks with outdoor seating. Most of the dry wines were terrible for $15 flight. This is my third time trying this place. I will never go back

Most of the wines were unpleasant (think urinal cakes) and not to our taste, and the staff came across as rude and impersonal. Overall, it wasn’t a welcoming experience, and we won’t be returning.

Just did the VIP wine tasting and had a great time. I did the dry and my hubby did the sweet. We liked the sweet best! Actually, bought the chocolate type wine. I also enjoyed the wine they gave us for the tour. I was so surprised at all the fun thing they have happening here. Cant wait to come and try some.

My husband and I visited the winery today. The woman at the front desk told us to go over to the bar and select the. wine we wanted to taste. Never bothered to come over to us to explain the process. She was very rude, She treated us with such disrespect. We asked several questions and she handed us a sheet to read about the wines. Which was great, we wish she would’ve done that to begin with. Oh and by the way, the sheet she handed us was out dated. two of the wines we requested were no longer available. Once we got past that awful experience, she then pointed to the other room and said have a seat. She comes into the room with the wine choices in little plastic cups. I asked her do you have wine glasses? Again, she seemed annoyed that I would ask for wine glasses . The wine was good, but I was so disappointed in the customer service. We will never go back again.

This winery and brewery offers great entertainment, including live music, which was the main reason we chose to visit. During our time there, we enjoyed performances from two different musicians, both of whom were great. The combination of the music and the view created a relaxing atmosphere. However, I did encounter a couple of issues during my visit. First, I got a bottle of wine, and it was warm, then the server give me a plastic cup to drink from. Wine is suppose to be served chilled in a proper glass. This brings me issue: the use of plastic cups for both beer and wine. I believed that wine should be served in a glass and atmosphere the right temperature. One of the main reasons I enjoy visiting wineries is my love for wine. However, these were minor issues that certainly won't prevent us from returning. I also recommend bringing your own food and snacks, because their only available option was small bags of pretzels.

I visited Hershey Vineyard on September 14th at 2:00 pm for an event. Although I am not an expert in wine, I possess some knowledge of wine etiquette. I arrived approximately at 2:30 PM and entered the initial building, expressing enthusiasm to sample and purchase local wines while supporting Pennsylvania's wineries. A staff member informed me that tastings were not currently being offered and advised that the venue I was attending could assist with tastings. Upon approaching the designated tasting area, I was prepared to sample some wines. However, I was informed that tasting was not permitted unless the bottles were opened. In my international experience, I have observed that "You will sell more bottles by allowing tasting." With discretion, I asked the young lady to open a particular bottle I was interested in tasting beforehand. I requested that she pour only a half-ounce so I could assess the aroma and flavor before making a purchase decision. Unfortunately, this was my only purchase due to the strict policies at this vineyard. Regrettably, I do not intend to return. My friends and I regularly purchase cases from establishments worldwide, but this venue appeared uninviting and somewhat cheap for my initial experience.

WE LOVED the Winery and Brewery of Hershey. We booked to stay there through Harvest Hosts as FULL-TIME RVers. The Winery is beautiful. Lyn and her staff were very gracious. And the fact we were not wine drinkers did not matter:) We did a tasting, bought a bottle and enjoyed! We lucked out that during our 3 night stay the Winery hosted a Reggae festival with food truck and live band. Super fun!

Purchased tickets for an event (sushi making) on a Sunday at 12pm. Arrived around 11:05am after a 90 minute drive. As we were waiting in the car for the start time, I happened to check my email around 11:25am to find a notification that the event had been cancelled - the email was sent from them at 11:15am. You can imagine our surprise and upset of the very late notice. as we are on-site waiting. I emailed the business to vent my frustration and requested a response, as well, I called and left a voicemail, also asking for a response - and I have not yet heard from them. I'm not quite sure how you run events and provide 45 minutes notice of cancellation, and the notice is sent via email not a direct call. Had I not checked my email, I wouldn't have found out about the cancellation until the start time. The lack of organization and the lack of customer service (not responding to email or voicemail 8' addition to cancelling 45 minutes prior by email) is a major detriment to their business. I have already reached out to Visit Lebanon County and LebTown, where I found this event and notified them of this and suggested they reconsider advertising their events. It's a shame a business that should be great for locals, tourists, visitors, etc. manages events in this way.

Having just moved to the area 2 years ago we are always looking for new places to check out. After disregarding the bad reviews we headed over to the vineyards. Totally confused where they are the only view I had was of a highway and an upside down tent next to their stage. I am a dry wine drinker so I ordered a glass of Pinot Grigio. When the bartender poured it I could tell it was not going to be good by the dehydrated urine color. It was not. So I tried the Rose. If I was ever to drink Formaldehyde I am pretty sure this is what it would taste like. I have never tasted a wine that was so hard to swallow. My husband gave 2 beers a try. He said you could definitely tell they do not clean their lines and it was very warm. We are actually quite easy to please but this is definitely a one in done for us!

We visited the Vineyard & Brewery at Hershey for the first time to celebrate our daughter’s 21st birthday, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, and the live music added the perfect vibe to the celebration. The wine was absolutely delicious—smooth, flavorful, and clearly crafted with care. But the real surprise favorite of the day was the bourbon tea—so refreshing and unique! The staff was friendly, and everything was well-organized. We’re already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend for a fun and memorable day out!

Did some investigation on the website ahead of time, was really intrigued on the different beers and wines they had listed as options. Did not have a good experience at all. Went in for a wine and beer tasting. Woman who took care of us, told us that the beer tasting wasn't to be done here, but gave us no other insight as to where it was done. Then to set up for the wine tasting, she didn't even give me the wine descriptions list so I had to choose wines blindly. When it came time to the actual wine tasting, she knew nothing about any of the wines. She couldn't give you any insight other than the name. During this time, a group showed up for a scheduled tour. As soon as this happened, we got rushed to finish our tasting so she could begin handling the tour. We went down to the patio where a live band was setting up, so that intrigued us. At the bar, that is where we found out we could do beer flights. Only problem with that was, they only had a selection of 6 to choose from. All of the ones mentioned on the website, no where to be found. Asked the bartender, and she didn't even hear of the names that I was mentioning. The patio itself with the band was a very nice setting. You could sit back and relax, and enjoy the music. That is the only good, positive thing I can say about this winery. One of the worst ones I've ever been to as far as customer service and the experience itself. I'm well known for taking a case home with me from every winery I do a tasting at. I think it speaks for itself that we left empty handed. Will make a point of not returning.

Exceptional experience great price. We kind of got left behind at the end because the staff member started attending another party, she didn't even say bye or tell us what to do after the pairing so I was a little confused there. Besides that the property is amazing, the view is amazing the location is awesome and they have live music.... I would try it again to see how it turns out.

Did a tour of this place for a wedding venue, and the experience was horrible. They are just riding on the "Hershey" name because of their location, no clue how this place makes any money. We had Lynn give us a tour. She took us to the reception room (which was very bare and boring) and from the deck pointed down far in the distance "that's where the ceremony would be". Didn't even take us down there to show us. In the event room she asked if we had questions. I asked a couple questions, and she started each answer with a snippy, "as stated in the email...." After about the third time of her saying this I finally asked, "what email are you referring to?" We both pulled up our emails and I confirmed I had not received an additional email with info from her, she double checked and said, "oh yeah I didn't send you and email." And continued with the conversation, no apologies for being snippy or forgetting to send the info! My fiancé and I were done at this point. She was unprofessional, the place seemed dirty, the event room stunk like sour beer, no clue what the ceremony location looked like up close. When we asked about bridal and groomsman suites, she said there was a bridal suite and for the men "they show up dressed", as if us asking was a weird question. Even though I was done, I just had to see what the bridal suite looked like. It was up a steep staircase off the tasting room. I could barely walk up the stairs in flip flops, couldn't imagine walking down them in a wedding dress and heels. All the doors were closed in the suite and when I asked where is the bathroom, I got, "you just walked past it" like I have x-ray vision and could see through doors. The suite was a joke! I do not recommend this place for anything. I wanted to try the wine while there but was so turned off with our tour, my fiancée and I couldn't get out of there fast enough. We got back in the car to leave and I was so skeeved out, we wanted to go home and shower.

I purchased a VIP tour & tasting through Clipp deals that was ready to expire over the weekend.Friday afternoon I took a guest with me for the tasting. Since we were unable to be there at 1 we had to forfeit the tour. Probably not a loss. The only woman in the tasting room had the demeanor of a wet mop! My guest commented, she doesn’t seem very happy to see us. The wine was mediocre, the room cold and depressing. My worst experience visiting a vineyard.Usually wineries are a lighthearted fun experience. Not Hershey, what a disappointment.

Always a great place that keeps us coming back. Tonight my husband and I did a glass blowing class. The instructor was great, informative and kept every participants attentions. It was definitely a unique experience as well as fun and enjoyable.

The Vineyard and Brewery at Hershey is a nice spot with a relaxed vibe, great for spending time with friends or a date. Their beer is quite good, though we weren’t fans of about half of the ones we tried, likely because we went for some unique options. The wine is okay, not remarkable but enjoyable. We booked a brewery tour through Groupon, and while the guide was informative and engaging, the reception and welcoming area could use better organization—after being sent to three different spots, it took about 30 minutes before someone finally got us set up. Overall, it’s a good place to hang out and unwind, and we’d recommend giving it a try.

Attended the Jellybricks gig at the All Decked Out series on May 24, 2024. The concert was AWESOME and the staff couldn't be friendlier. The prices are very affordable - like $22 for a bottle of their local Chardonnay with a beautiful view of the surrounding pastoral scene. Yes it's out from the beaten path but that actually makes it more special. Seating was great and dancing could be had right up near the band! Coming from Chicago the affordable prices and pleasant seating were truly remarkable. You can even bring your own food to save $ too.

Fawn and Lynn were absolutely wonderful at the winery. They were so knowledgeable and helped us make sure our bride had a flawless bachelorette party! Fawn even turned us onto her favorite wine there which I simply couldn't leave the winery without a bottle of. I highly recommend the same as she, which is the Pink Catawba.

Love the wines at The Vineyard at Hershey & beautiful view from the tasting room! Great selection of wines, reasonably priced & friendly staff. Christine is always a pleasure to work with & they are awesome with accommodating large groups. Must try!

It was okay. The entertainment was pretty cool...one man band? But the one of the bartenders/servers was not tht nice, informative or forthcoming with information pertaining to what they we're offering ????...I asked about what another customer was ordering in regards to samplings and she just said "wine samples are over at the barn"??? But I was asking about the samples she was doing for another customer ????....so yeah not to customer oriented ??? but anyway the entertainment sounds pretty good and our wine isn't bad.

Beautiful place with so much space. They have a pretty extensive selection of both beer and wine plus they let you do samplers that are extremely affordable up to 6 at a time. Perfect for a date or just hanging out, will definitely be back. Plus parking was easy, just a short walk to farmhouse where the bar was and there's even seating on the grass

As Harvest Host (HH) members, we pay an annual fee for access to RV camp at breweries and vineyards nationwide. The Brewery at Hershey is a participating member and among the best we’ve visited. We hit the patio when they opened and, as you can see in the pic below, polished off a pitcher of Pumpkin Ale, which was finished in a merlot cask giving it the most unique flavor of any pumpkin brew in memory. The staff was super friendly, the restrooms immaculate, appropriate social distancing and even live music overlooking the pond where other HH members were camping. A+ experience!

Here for 3DD. Lawn area needs designated smoking areas and there was a strict no beverages rule in place for the hottest weekend of the year so far... But suddenly it was ok to bring sealed water in at the gate? No updates on facebook or an event email? Waters were 3 $ each. Poor communication. Staff was very attentive to the people at the event, checking to make sure that they were ok in the heat. There were cooling misted fans around as well. The event was for a very good cause as well. The grounds seemed well maintained.

My friends and I spent an afternoon at this vineyard and had a great time! It's nicely tucked away from everything. You can just sit, listen to good music, and enjoy some nice beer, wine or cider. They don't selll food but sometimes food trucks come and you can also bring your own snacks. There's plenty of space for you to bring a couple of lawn chairs and make a picnic out of it! I'll definitely be visiting again.

Pretty solid concert venue - sound quality was great. I was surprised that they let people park camp chairs all the way up to the stage. At similar venues, there's been a designated area (further back) for chairs. It was nice to not have a giant mosh pit at the front (chairs created spaces between people), but it seems like an accident waiting to happen. (If for whatever reason people needed to leave immediately, all those chairs would present a huge hazard, especially because there weren't clear walking paths through them - just a giant sea of chairs.) Outhouse lines weren't bad if you timed it right. Beer/wine lines were long and slow, but you were able to buy a six-pack/a bottle of wine at a time. Coolers were allowed in, so you could bring ice in with you and just wait in the booze line once to stock up. Food trucks were okay in terms of selection and wait. Nice that you were able to bring food in. Getting out after the show was a bit of a nightmare. Good luck leaving if you're not one of the last to arrive - at each row of cars, people try to force themselves into the line leading out, so you'll be waiting ages on all of them to exit before you can inch along. (I mostly blame the people of PA for this - not the vineyard or concert employees - but prepare yourself to be patient.)
