I was driving in a rental car on some back roads and the tire light came on with a very low pressure in one tire. I pulled up to Bangor Tire and Auto. He was definitely busy, but took the time to fill the low tire. I am very thankful and hopefully it doesn’t have a nail in it.

Amazing service!!! No wonder they got all great reviews! I just moved to town and ended up with a nail in my tire over the weekend. They couldn't get me in on Monday when I called so they opened a little early to squeeze me in on Tuesday. Super nice man (I wish I got his name). Smiling while talking to me and he didn't jerk me around at all like most mechanics do. I wasn't expecting such an amazing price to plug it up either. In and out in less than a half hour. The service was way above the actual dealership. My husband and I found our new "go to" spot with our new cars.
I greatly appreciate the integrity John and Karen show whenever I need their service. My car dealership told me my battery needed to be changed asap. I chose not to have them do it. Today I stopped and told John. He was kind enough to check it for me. It still has enough power for another year or two. His honesty is awesome.

Great place to get your vehicle serviced in a timely fashion. They don't try to push extra services on you. Prices are fair and turn around time is not bad. Seems to be a family owned business with that small town, family atmosphere. The woman at the front desk is always friendly and willing to help.
Needed to get the tires replaced on our van sooner than we had planned due to a screw piercing one of the tires. Called and scheduled an appointment for Thursday (next day) and dropped off the van on Wednesday afternoon. They called at about 4:30 Wednesday and said it was all set.
The price was reasonable (better than the big tire shops), Fast service, and exceeded my expectations. Will be the 1st call next time I need tires.

I dropped in no appointment after noticing my car shaking suddenly. Being 100% honest John found I had lost a weight off my tires causing them to be unbalanced, causing the shaking. As always tge staff was friendly accomidating, and personable. They are an exemplary example of small town family owned businesses. John even remembered what car I had the year prior on my first visit even though I now have a newer car, diffrent make and diffrent model. It made him come across as some one who truly does care about his customers and their safety.
I got my car's oil changed here and the guys were really fast. The owner was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend going here and will be back myself.
I am taken care of here, whether it be an inspection, oil change, or if I stop by with a flat tire I am always grateful for the help I receive from these kind people! They won't do you wrong!
Great place the owner is honest and accommodating won't tell you something is wrong when it's not and won't say you need to replace something if it still is in good shape. Not the cheapest but certainly cheaper than most. You definitely get your value here regardless I won't use another mechanic.
Prices aren't bad and they can give you good info on tires and competitive options that may work better for you. Very helpful. Been there a few times and will continue going to this shop.
I came in on a Thursday and picked out tires for my Tacoma. Scheduled install for the following Tuesday. Anyway the day after ordering my tires I got a nail in the sidewall. Called them up and they said my tires came in anyway and to bring the truck right in. Awesome awesome customer service. Great prices. Clean shop. I will only get tires from here from now on.
