This review is actually about the browns towing in Pittsburgh so here goes. My van was stuck in a snow bank and had a flat tire at my residence. I called Brown's and in about 15 minutes they were pulling into the driveway. The driveway was covered with snow and ice so they had to bring a second truck to assist with the repair. Using both trucks they were able to get the van free from the snow bank and got the flat changed, plus before they left they pulled the van all the way to the end of the driveway so it was easy to drive it out to the street from there. This was all done after 11:00 p.m. and in single digit temperatures, I could not be more happy with the service, these guys are awesome!!

I utilized Brown's services though a family AAA membership. AAA's web portal and chat was excellent on the hand off to Brown's. The cold kills many things including my battery. I went though AAA who assigned the case to Brown's. Within 5 minutes I got a call from a dispatcher at Brown's. We had a short conversation to confirm the issue and the field tech Adrian(?) showed up about 30 minutes later. Adrian(?) jumped the car and after testing informed me the battery was on its last legs. He offered the cheap option first; run the car run for 45 minutes and get a start or 2 out of it. I would have to replace the battery soon after. He also offered to replace the battery on the spot. I chose the replacement. I consider $220 after tax an excellent price for an on the spot replacement. Web price shows around $195 after tax for a comparable battery in stock at a local store. Adrian(?) got to eat too.

We waited over five hours for this tow after calling to confirm ahead of time that it would not be an issue. We had already paid AAA for the service. We also specifically explained during our first phone call that we purchased the van in order to have it towed to another shop. The woman we spoke with was rude and dismissive from the start. After waiting five hours with no communication, my husband called back and was suddenly told we needed paperwork proving we didn’t owe the shop any money — despite the fact that we have never had any work done there. The owner had already moved the vehicle to the front of the property so it could be picked up. We even offered to have you speak directly with the owner to clear up any confusion. Instead of resolving the situation professionally, a man got on the phone and told us that now we would not be getting the tow at all. This entire experience was unprofessional, disorganized, and completely unacceptable. After waiting five hours and paying for a service in advance, to be treated this way is beyond frustrating.

Got there quick, took forever to get my car towed. The guy who towed my car left the front bumper tow hook & I wasn’t unable to get it off. I now have 3 inches of metal sticking out of my vehicle.

If ya have AAA there Great. Want $215.00 for a 12 mile tow. There 2 miles from my house. Absolutely not!!!

The drivers are terrible. They don’t pay attention. I had a browns towing pick up truck with the tailgate that says “slow down” “move over” merge in front of me on McKnight rd south bound, carelessly not paying attention that I was right next to him. Almost ripped my front end off my brand new car. I had to slam on my brakes and honk my horn. With zero care, he still continued to get into the lane. I was under the impression that being a responsible driver was a prerequisite for working for a towing company. But clearly I was foolish. If you want a great and reliable towing company, I HIGHLY recommend Harvey’s towing and auto repair, located on rt 65 in Baden. Harvey’s will never let you down, or drive reckless.

Keith was incredible. He was very prompt and efficient. The weather was really crummy and I appreciate him coming out to to pull my vehicle out of a ditch. He was extremely friendly and professional. Highly recommend!

I needed to move my car to a repair shop. I went through AAA and they assigned Brown's Towing. The driver, Nathan, showed up a short time later. He was very careful loading and unloading my car. He also offered to take the car without me for convenience. A broken car is usually a real pain. Nathan was very polite and efficient to get my car to the shop. Great job, Nathan

Got into a car accident 10/14/2025 and their drivers and secretary's were very nice and helped me much they can. I gave much info to work with my car insurance and glad they kept my car safe. Thank you!

I’m not sure the woman’s name who works in the office, but she was exceptionally kind and made sure she got me the quickest help possible very Prompt response and I can tell they care. The tow truck driver I believe his name was. Tyler was not only hilarious and lightened the mood, but made sure my tire was also ready to drive on and just went above and beyond. Couldn’t speak highly enough of them 10/10

Terrible service and showed up 86 minutes after they were supposed to be here. In lieu of jumping my car they were insisting on towing it because the driver was “not a battery technician”. Never ever use this company even though they are utilized by AAA.

Travis is awesome, he saved us off Rt80 Sunday night. . trucks flying by --- my car had a flat with wheel locks that don't come off, so Travis picked-up the car with my wife inside (she doesn't walk) and towed us 14 miles to our hotel.. These guys helped me n my family out soo much when my daughter in-law's car started acting up. Didn't expect them to drive from their shop in Greenville pa to Berkeyville pa, which is almost an hrs from where the car was at. I truly appreciate their driver for helping us out in this time of need. The driver, bless his soul, even listened to my son, who was really upset n beating himself up over it, not told him not to fret, things happen n to be thankful it was just having issues n not in a wreck. It truly helped my son to calm down n I am forever grateful for him. Thank u soooooo much for people like him. Would highly recommend if ur in need of a tow.

The owner said he would tow my car to where he does repairs, complete the repairs, and return my car to me. He totally abandoned me. Literally the last text I sent to him before I realized he blocked my number was me wishing him a happy birthday and a good weekend. I did NOTHING to deserve this type of behavior. Disappointed is the least I can say.

Browns Towing is the only two service I will call from now. They were kind and generous. My tow truck driver was a young man with tattoos I unfortunately didn’t get his name but I truly hope he’s sees this. He got to me in a timely manner, asked if it I was okay, put me in his truck because it was pouring and made a really shitty day so much easier! Thank you Browns! My family and I will forever be grateful for you on that Wednesday morning and will forever call if we need a tow!

I had to call AAA. I had broken down in Ellwood city and they had dispatched a tow company, waited 2 hrs for them to cancel. They called brown's towing and they called me to confirm, minutes later Antonio called and let us know he is in route. He showed up, took care of everything we needed, was perfect with my car .Aj made sure he took care of us the whole time. I've never seen such talent in wanting to help others. Thank you very much .we need more people like you.

I contacted AAA to get a vehicle towed to a repair shop snd they dispatched Browns Towing and Repair. I immediately got a call from Browns, gave them the needed information and scheduled the tow for 10am the next day. I got a call the next morning from them giving me an update on the driver arrival. The driver Travis called a few minutes later to confirm his arrival time. He arrived right at 10am. I had a complicated situation with my car in the garage, in park snd it would not start and a steep driveway. He got the huge SUV out of gear, out if the garage, down the driveway snd positioned perfectly to get it on the flatbead. In less than a half hour we were on our way. He was extremely careful driving the 60 miles and unloaded my vehicle seamlessly. Travis was a gem, polite, respectful and certainly knowledgeable on complex issues. Kudos to AAA having Browns as a tow contractor.

I had the true pleasure of doing business with browns towing, what amazing service, quick. And the tow truck was immaculate. Keith was very personable and kind. The owner was very helpful as well. If you need a tow keep these fellas in your mind. They won't let you down. Thanks fellas.
