I had probably the worst experience I've ever had with a garage here. I took it in for an oil change and a transmission fluid flush and filter. When I called to schedule my apt I asked how long will it take and how much is it going to cost. Was told it would be about an hour and a half. And that the oil change would be $89.99 and the flush and filter was $229.99. I had called around to other garages and the oil change was the same but the next best price I got for the flush and filter was $250. So I said let's schedule it for Monday at 1p. I show up to my apt 20 mins early. They had no record of me making an apt but took me in anyway because they weren't busy. An hour and 45mins went by so I asked how much longer it would be. The lady at the counter went back to check. She tells me they're almost done, putting fluids in now. 40 mins later I'm still standing there waiting. At this point I'm now late for work. I ask again was given an excuse of waiting for the vehicle to get to operating temp to check fluid levels. 5 mins later was told I was done. Now when I go to pay I expecting something around $340 total. She says it'll be $430.27!!! I explained the price I was given and she just said it is what it is. There's nothing I can do. SCAM!!! After reluctantly paying she tosses my receipt and keys on the service counter and says "Have a good day sir." In a very condescending way. Total lack of professionalism. Then when I get into my truck to leave, the mechanic had adjusted my seat every way he could just to move it 100ft. Ridiculous!!! This whole experience was just ridiculous. They don't even care enough to correct Google Maps that the wrong phone number is listed even after having told them about it on 2 separate occasions. I recommend taking the drive to Spitzer in Dubois if you want great customer service and accurate pricing.
I always dreaded the process of car shopping just because I never could get what I wanted but that was definitely NOT the case at Brookville Chevy! I was actually shocked that I was able to get a brand new suv and at an awesome rate! I will always go here from here on out for my future cars! The people are awesome and so friendly to work with. Keep up the amazing work and you all rock!
Our Parking Brake is not fully disengaging.
How do I know? I can feel the brakes catching. I have OnStar emails telling me there's a problem. The car is telling me the Parking Brake needs servicing. And, since the brakes are grabbing, the car is, at times, saying the transmission needs servicing.
So why the 1 star review?
I tell them what's happening and drop the car off at 9AM. I call at 1PM to find out that they can't reproduce the issue. I call again at 4:50, knowing they close at 5, and the person at the Service desk is gone for the day. I call at 10 AM the next day to find out they still can't reproduce the issue. This costs me $62.
What was the plan here? If they kept the car for another day would they have billed me $124?
While I understand the Mechanic spent time looking at the vehicle, and should be compensated, the complete lack of communication is what I have a problem with. Note, I called them each time.
We brought the car at Troy-Alan. So why not go there? It's a 20 minute drive to Brookville and a 45 minute drive to Kittanning. It was closer. That was a mistake.
At number one brookville you don’t save money. Bought 3 vehicles from you one trail boss at 50k+ a TRX at 91k and a Silverado 3500 at 65k. Paid 91k for the TRX and was show that’s what it was worth then come back to trade it in and then showed the window sticker of the truck new was only 80k!
Dealership was clean. People where very helpful and friendly. My sales lady was there after I had car for 2 days. Called here and she helped me on the phone. Diffently will go back, if I need to.
It took 4 attempts over the course of 40k miles to find an exhaust leak. Disregarded any input from myself as to what the problem most likely was. Claimed they didn't have the proper equipment to simulate the issue and wouldn't reasonably troubleshoot the issue.
It was excellent and worth the time and effort your service dept Gave us. We were treated with respect and courtesy!!! Thank you for all your service department did for us. Again thank you
They received the parts faster than another dealership. And did not try to tell me about broken items on my vehicle. They did what I asked and sent me on my way. Exactly what I want from a dealership.
I have recently switched my business from Spitzer Chevy in DuBois to Brookville Chevy. I feel this dealership has more interaction with there Customers, Higher quality of work, & fair in there pricing. I like when the dealership tells you what may need fixed in the future rather that getting a surprise and I feel they would do this. My only suggestion is to make the reports for the 27 point inspection easier to read.
Had my truck in for service, I kind of thought they would give it a clean up, they didn’t, I came from a gmc truck to Chevy and any time i took the gmc in for service they cleaned the truck up so nice. I was just disappointed. I bought the Chevy new from ther.
Was driving through on our way to New Jersey from Michigan when my GMC Terrain's wipers quit working and we called to see if they could look at the issue on a Friday and they took us in and got us diagnosed and fixed in an hour and at no cost cause it was a warranty part. Thank You for the wonderful help!
