Honestly this store should be closed for good. My issue is with the employees in total. This store and their employees encourage illegal, rude, and dangerous activities. The employees enjoy hanging out on the property after hours revving their modified vehicles, doing burnouts, and driving through not only the stores grass but the grass belonging to the residence and other businesses. When confronted, they acted threatening and the store manager refuses to deal with the issues. Due to this being private property, only the employees can get the police to actually do anything. They refuse to do so and encourage the behavior. I enjoy having my children woken up and being woken up by the employees revving their modified vehicles all night long… *Note my sarcasm…
Very poor customer service. Employee was very rude , inconsiderate, lacking customer service experience. Should not be working with the public. Did not want to hear my problem. I'm not a mechanic I am an auto parts store. This was my worst advanced auto parts store experience ever. Not sure what his name was but his black ear piercing should give him away. Def needs a major attitude adjustment. I've been in customer service for over 30 years and would have been terminated for this kind of behavior. I will never visit this location again.
I'd say customer service was sub-par but nonexistent to rude is more accurate. My husband and I walked in to no greeting at all. We appeared to be quite an annoyance to the boy (receipt says Cody) behind the counter. Mainly noted by the fact that he couldn't be bothered to look up from whatever he was watching on his phone. As he spoke to my husband, continuing to watch his phone, the tone clearly showed that we were indeed disturbing him from getting paid to watch TV. My husband explained that a boy from Auto Zone said that Advanced carried the part we needed. He responded with, "well, I've never heard of that before" & "I don't know how the hell he knows what we carry." He then sauntered back to retrieve a coworker. This gentleman looked for a part number, and found it with little effort. Luckily, that made the exchange shorter. We left there, satisfied with the part & convinced even more that online is the way to shop. And certainly not from Advanced Auto Parts. Honestly, if you hate your job that much, leave, no one is forcing you to be there.
Wife went in for a simple light bulb change and they refused to help. We are not a garage. I have been a patron of several advanced auto stores in my life never had this poor customer service experience in my life. I would give less than one star if it would let me.
Went to get my battery tested and all the man did was complain that I had a diesel truck. Did not get it tested because it was too many brackets and such. Maybe change your adds to "free battery test if it's not to difficult "
Kiersten was very helpful and professional. She seems to be the “go to” person when other team members have questions/issues. Give this young lady a pay raise!
The employees and manager at the Green Castle, North Carolina store were extremely helpful to us when our truck needed service on our way from FL to ME. Not only did they provide us with top notch local diesel mechanic suggestions, but they also allowed us to park our camper overnight in their yard while our truck was being worked on! Extremely helpful and compassionate!! Great people!!!
Very nice and helpful guys. Found the parts and products i was looking for very quickly. Great place to get a satuday car detailing and fix up done. They also have a nice selection of cosmetic upgrades and replacements with some of the smaller performance modifications on hand.
Great for auto parts! Not so incredible for the Amazon returns! :) They’re okay if you’re simply dropping off a UPS package but just not Amazon returns & they’re super helpful, of course, when it comes to what they know, which is anything auto related!
Lost my gas cap for my rv when I realized it was missing called the nearest auto parts store. They had one in stock. Saved my trip home and worry free now.
Staff was friendly and the part I bought was way cheaper than anywhere else, the location of the building is kinda confusing though because of where the building is located.
Great customer service at Advance Auto it did a nice job I was in and out in 10 minutes and had two part I need it and even better my woman was impressed
You walk into this store expecting to be greeted or ask if they could help you
but they're to busy behind the counter talking with each other or staring at the monitor.. no one helped or came forward and so I walked out. Lousy customer service. must have been the Sunday crew.
Terrible customer service.
1. The associates at this store sold me the WRONG brake pads for my vehicle.
2. I got my project a month or so later and they refused to return them. They were BRAND NEW. I didn't want cash, I just wanted the right pads. They conveniently "couldn't find them in the system". And they didn't try anything else to help find the receipt.
3. I come home and find out you dont even need a receipt to return brand new brake pads. So they LIED to me. Says it right on their website.
4. When I ask to speak to the manager, the guy puffed out his chest and said "I AM the manager." Very confrontational.
I will NEVER be shopping at this store or any Advanced Auto Parts for the rest of my life. I suggest you do the same.
I'll be filing a formal complaint with the BBB.

Literally saved us thousands $$$$. Had a mechanic tell us we needed a new engine recently. Ran the codes and tried some simple and cheap stuff first. David the GM gave us guidance and we bought the parts which were in stock. Happy to report that the car is running better than ever and the grand total was less than 200 bucks! David and his staff were professional and knowledgeable. Amazing how honest people who care about their customers can change the whole situation. Customer for life.
