Mechanic at mr.tire in broomall told me I needed rear breaks,rotars and calipers for 1000 dollars so I called around for pricing and met Jay at Don Kelly’s his was the best price 651$ Out of 3 different places.(c&j auto -1035$ with 100 dollar coupon/ pep boys 1047$ ). Booked an oil change and state inspection. They had all of October open unlike two big dealerships. It was raining when I dropped the car off and I lived a few blocks away and walked home. Stu offered to give me a ride due to the rain. He also completed the inspection and oil change in less than 4 hrs. He also warned me about my tires and offered several advice options. Stu is the man. Needed new brakes and rotors on my BMW X5 and the dealership wanted $583. A friend of a friend told me to go to Don Kelley's because his shop would do good work and better value than the dealer's prices. My wife made the appointment and we dropped the car off. They never called us with a diagnosis nor a price for the work. When we showed up to pick up the car, the price was $859. Needless to say I was shocked and stunned they never called me considering I am a first time customer and now....last time customer. I have 2 BMW's and I will never go back. If they were professional and courteous, they would have called me before doing the work assuming I would pay any price.
