Tenth floor staff is incredibly supportive, professional and compassionate. The level of compassion and care toward my loved one was greatly appreciated by my family. My loved one did not want for anything while she was there. The room was impeccably clean and maintained. My family and I cannot say enough about the facility and the staff at Fair Acres.

My mom was in FA for 10 months. She came from a 5 star nursing home that nursing staff were good but the PT and OT lazy rude and dismissed her as she had a serious injury. Quote from the 1st nursing home PT “I’ve never seen a leg do that!” She’ll never walk again! Fair acres took my mom in and within 36 days my mother took her first steps!!! It was time to move now!!! Fair Acres had my mom out of bed every day she was not left to lay there like the 1st facility. Mom moved herself around in a wheelchair on day 3. The staff at FA are pleasant and accommodating. Nursing staff on the 7th floor were true angels they have so much on their plate and they still have a smile and take care of your loved one like their own. The therapy department!!! The therapy department is absolutely the best!!!! They took their time with my mother and they pushed my mom. They were wonderful absolutely wonderful. They were so accommodating and understanding of my mom’s needs. Kathy Laura Kayla and Mitch absolutely phenomenal!!! FA isn’t what it once was it is renewed reborn with the staff and nursing. I’m so grateful and thankful for FA. Thank you for getting my mom home thank you for letting her enjoy the holidays and thank you for giving her a life back. ❤️

My brother Fred lived at Fairacres for the last two years. He was in Building 1, floor 1. During this time, everyday there was very pleasurable. The Staff was always loving and caring. They always had programs going on for them. They have a “Meet and Greet”, which takes place on the entry level, in a large room. They serve coffee and donuts! Everyday there is something! We were Blessed to have Fred there. He was 94, and he is in Heaven now. Seniors maintain their Dignity and Caring for their needs with compassion is their priority. Thank you to All Doctors, Nurses, and Caregivers there ! Eve Smith

My father-in-law was a patient of Faire Acres for over a decade! He had his money and clothing stolen a number of times. We believe it was the employee/s at Fair Acres. If you have a roommate that is non-verbal, your chances are higher to have things/money stolen. My father-in-law was afraid to stand up and say something because he felt that they would take his complaints out on his care. We believe a handful cared about my father-in-law but most put on a front when we were visiting. Please, Please, think twice before placing your family/friends into this facility. In conclusion, I cannot recommend Fair Acres due to a combination of the factors listed along with a long list of others.

They do not have a good level of care they are prejudice against overweight people. They did not change his catheter which lead to infection then his death, Fair Acres staff are lucky we did NOT sue them,it was was because of my Aunt that we did not. they placed Dad with a man chanting I want to die all day long he The staff did not care If you love some one don't put them in this pee smelling place

My family member suffered and died here as a result of the under training, under staffing and under compassionate members of staff here.

The care and communication is very good. Please note that most of the poor reviews come from staff that are unhappy. This affects treatment but these issues should be aired administratively and not as a review of patient care. We have had experience in other facilities and Fair Acres standard of care is much higher and more consistent. Money is not their motivator as it is in the private facilities. Our family has been treated with respect and genuine care.

My mother Joan Klauder has been in Fair Acres for 21 years. She has been on the 12th, 10, 2 & 5 floors and has always had very good care & friendly support from the entire staff. She been given gifts and sweet treats and love through out the years from lots of the staff and visiting church groups and Friends & Fair Acres. Once my Mom went to the hospital for what we feared was a stroke but it was Bell's Palsy. While in the hospital the staff called the hospital and checked on her regularly. Her bed and room was tidy up for her return. Communication by Fair Acres staff to me has been very good!! I thank you Fair Acres patient care team for taking good care of my mom and all the extra special things you all do for her. Mom is 76 this month. She always feels safe in Fair Acres care. I think it’s pretty amazing for 21 years of my mom’s life she has been in Fair Acres and well cared for. Thank to everyone at Fair Acres for the care you have all taken during the Pandemic. Thanks for keeping Mom Covid free..

The staff in building 8 floor 6 are rude. Don't ask them to do anything 20 minutes before 2 on a friday because you will be told "jesus christ it's almost 2". You get the same service at a mcdonalds but you expect it there.

What a dump to put a human being. But who cares where Social Services and Guardians put people. Are they even ever going to visit them or is this this The Drop Off and move on to the next SPEECHLESS

My mother was at Fair Acres for two months before passing away this week. They couldn't have been more caring, professional, organized and thoughtful. She had been in private facilities for well over 4 years and never experienced the attention and care she received here. The compassion I received as my mom died and the attention she received in her last hours is something I'll never forget. I am truly grateful I chose Fair Acres. She was in Building 6 ground floor. I just had to give kudos to the staff. Thank you!

I read reviews about this place, and how they are UNFAIR and Racist. I should've went with my first instinct but I gave it a chance anyway and I've experienced Disrespect and Racism, first hand. I attended CNA classes here for 2 weeks at Fair Acres. The program is 4 weeks long. I took my final exam before I was suppose to move on to Clinicals for the last 2 weeks of the program but I was rejected all because of my Medusa Piercing. I came to class on time that Monday morning, I finished my final exam. I took my test to the RN/The instructor, Jane DiCecco. Jane says to me "When are you going to take that thing out of your face?" I said "Excuse Me? Thing? Am I not allowed to have my piercing in training class?" She replies "No, you're not. If you can't follow directions in here then you can't follow them out there on floor" I said "But I'm not hired here yet on the floor." She says "It doesn't matter, Remove it now!" I said "I am not. I just seen a White Young Lady that's here in the same CNA program I am in with a Monroe Piercing." Jane says "I don't care. That's not my problem." I say "But what's the difference between me and the other young lady? If it was a general rule then she wouldn't of had her piercing in neither." She says "It's not a general rule." I said "Oh so I see the difference, It's skin color." She says " don't pull that with me." She gets up and go to The Administrator Director, Rose's Office. I follow behind. She tells Rose that I was "not following the rules" I said "How am I not following rules when Jane just made it very clear that the piercing removal is not a general rule. She says If I can't follow directions in here then she knows that I can't follow them on the floor. She's doubting and stereotyping me already. I am not hired here yet. I am in a training class. Why does my piercing bother her so much? I just seen a white young lady in the same program as me with a Monroe Piercing and nothing was said to her" Rose says " It's different because the girl has graduated. you must remove your piercing." I replied " I am being Discriminated against and Harassed. Jane was disrespectful to me. she has talked down to her students since day one, as if we are peasants and we don't belong here when all we are trying to do is get a career and better ourselves". She says "I don't like the way you're talking to Jane, you need to leave now" I said "I didn't disrespect her, she disrespected me. but I see it's okay for Jane to talk to me anyway she wants too?" Rose shrugs her shoulders and turns her back on me and continues to play on her computer. What a disgrace! Another thing I don't understand is how a 70 year old women (Jane DiCecco) has active court cases currently going on, but yet Fair Acres is still letting her continue to work there as an RN & CNA instructor to the public. She's in the Judicial System with open records working around older citizens and a classroom of young adults. Students had to have a criminal background check done before we started the program, but I see Fair Acres isn't checking their actual employees backgrounds. Where's the State and Better Business Bureau when you need them? I am disappointed and disgusted. I would NEVER recommend this place, not even to future patients. BEWARE!!!!

Good luck getting responses back from anyone at this facility. Customer service is horrible, so make sure your loved one is at least recieving good care. No heart.

.people who clearly can not feed themselves sit at the dining table just starring at their food. Others who have concerns are ignored (bathroom break or question about food).Hospice care there is a joke.just a way to double the bill Medicare with zero attention to the patient.

Just spoke on the phone with Sister Mary Sullivan and she is so supportive of her residents giving them opportunities for prayer through Rosary groups and also to have wishes granted through Twilight Wish Foundation. I can always tell when a person genuinely cares about others, and Sister Mary cares about her 830 residents!

My sister has been in Fair Acres since January and I am really impressed with the conditions there and the care and concern the staff shows to her and the others.
