Doug and team are the best mechanics I've ever worked with. They are knowledgeable, honest, and provide excellent customer service. Doug has gone out of his way to help with several issues and always provides thorough explanations and clear options without being condescending (hard to find in a mechanic!) My workplace uses Three Suns to service their vehicles and I travel 40 minutes to bring my personal vehicle here as well. They're worth it!

Edit: Thanks for the reply. You never told me the inspection wasn’t done. I’ll let readers decide if they believe you, but your response doesn’t make sense. What kind of mechanic would start fixing the brakes on one half of the axle before looking at the other set of brakes? Even if it were true, it would be really bad. First time coming here, brought in my 02 Avalon. They were very friendly and accommodating. They did an inspection/emissions test, found an issue so couldn’t pass inspection but still gave me my emissions sticker which I was happy with. They told me my left calipers were both leaking and needed replacing. Since these guys aren’t close to home, I had to take it in to my normal mechanic to get the actual work done. Normal mechanic told me only the back left caliper was leaking. More concerning, he showed me my back right brakes were completely gone. I suspect Three Suns only checked the brakes on the left side but because the left side calipers were leaking, those brake pads never got worn down and perhaps they assumed if the back left was good the back right must have been good too which would normally be true, but as professionals they should have caught this. I saw this with my own eyes in the second shop, so I know with certainty the back right brake pad needs replacing. It’s concerning that Three Suns didn’t notice my brake pad was worn which is a major safety concern. They also tried charging me in the order of $500 for the calipers. My normal mechanic quoted me $300 for the same work, although it ended up being less for just the one caliper, plus the brake pad and a new inspection. The mechanics at Three Suns were smooth talkers and tried getting my guard down by not dinging me for an alleged headlight problem, but I saw them misdiagnose the brakes with my own eyes. I guess the lesson learned is that even a shop with 4.9 stars can be sloppy - always ask them to show you the issue so you can verify with your own eyes.

I had a routine state inspection here. It was completed day of, and when picking up my vehicle Doug took the time to walk me through any issues, and explained it all to me in layman's terms. They highlighted items that could be potential future issues but I did not feel pressured into additional or unnecessary repairs. I greatly appreciated the service at Three Suns and will continue to bring my vehicles here.

I came into this shop crying with worry, but I left with such a sense of gratitude and thanks in my heart. After driving on a street that was being repaved, I suddenly started hearing a very loud squeaking noise as I was driving. I found this shop while I was parked in a bank parking lot and Doug very kindly said to bring my car and he would take a listen. Despite it being a very hot day, despite my tears, and his shop being very busy, he took the time to help me and repair my car last minute. This is a kindness I will never forget. I live about thirty minutes away, but I will return for any and all future car repairs. Genuine kindness is such a gift in the world and I want to make sure I take the time to show my gratitude and my appreciation! I can't wait to return!

Doug and the crew are great guys! I came in with an intermittent CEL issue. We scheduled an overall vehicle check. The day of my appointment, the CEL had shut off. The shop is close enough to my work that I dropped it for the general check over but told Doug I'll wait on the CEL issue. He had great communication and did not try to up sell me on any unnecessary repairs. He continued to check in with me about the CEL issue, and best of all, showed me the repairs he had done. I highly recommend 3 suns for the following reasons: listens to you, clearly communicates estimates & procedures, fixes what is immediately needed for safety & longevity wellness while giving you upcoming repairs to be aware of, and a sense of humor.

Excellent and friendly service. Helped me figure out the Pennsylvania inspections and registration process as a newcomer in PA. A waiting room is available to use while the car is undergoing service. Doug clearly communicates what any issues are. This is vastly preferable to some of the other large car service companies, where I am treated like a number rather than a person. Glad I found a trustworthy and high quality establishment for car care.

Look, Doug cares about his customers- as a female who has sent a few people here, you will be in good honest hands. Once scheduling was messed up, miscommunication and he made it right. For a few years I’ve gone here and I have 0 complaints. I recommend them because of their skill set and customer care. Hard to find these days. I’ve had inspections, tire change, battery and more serviced here by me and family and they always do a great job.

Highly Recommend! Three Suns Auto is great! We've been taking our cars to Three Suns for the past 2 years and have been so impressed with the level of service Doug and his team provide. Doug does a great job of always explaining what is going on with the car and gives you a heads-up on things that are likely to occur in the future (i.e. you're going to need new tires or brakes in the next 6-12 months). Doug has never recommended unnecessary services based strictly on the mileage of the car. He and his team always go the extra mile and we're so happy we found a great and trustworthy mechanic.

Very professional, Doug is just awesome. I was traveling from NY to Philly and ran into some engine light on, and had to get it diagnosed asap. Despite being packed on schedule, he helped us to sort the issue out understanding our situation. Thanks a lot if you see this, Doug.

I’ve been going to Three Suns Auto for the past few years and the staff is great! Doug is very knowledgeable and actually cares about the happiness of his customers when you leave his shop. Whether it’s an oil change, inspection, brakes, tires, etc…Three Suns is the place to go for excellent service and overall auto care experience!

When my brother closed his shop, I was sick about it because it's really hard to find a mechanic you can trust. I needed an oil change, and I've been going here every since for my routine or not car care. Doug is very nice and honest and gets the work done quickly. I never feel like he overcharged me or found unnecessary things to charge me for.

Walked in very near quitting time, was overdue way overdue for an oil change and scheduled for a long drive early the following morning. The proprietor was only too happy to help and his two young guys quickly and politely took care of me. Very reasonable pricing.

Three suns has easily and quickly become my garage of choice. I have a European car and not only do they find parts for it but they always find the best prices. Doug does a great job explaining and in some cases showing you exactly what’s going on with the car and how they’re going to fix it. The rest of the crew is fast and efficient, I’ve rarely had to leave the car there overnight. Go to this garage, you will be impressed!

Great shop. Doug was helpful from beginning to end. Reasonable prices, flexible, professional, and they were honest which is HUGE. As a woman, there’s always a fear of being taken advantage of if you don’t show up with a man but I did NOT feel taken advantage of in the slightest. I recently brought my wife's Kia in to assess a hard to diagnose issue with the car. Doug, the owner, scheduled me the same day within hours of calling and spoke with me about the issue in detail over the phone. He was very friendly, polite and personable. When I arrived, he immediately checked the car and took it for a test drive. The building btw is very clean and well maintained and includes a small waiting area. After coming back, he ran a diagnostic check and he and his colleagues pored over the engine to determine the potential cause of our problem. He then explained the issue to me in clear, down-to-earth language and looked up parts to provide an estimate (at no charge) if I decided to pursue a potential fix. There was no selling, just problem solving. Honestly, this was one of the best experiences I have had with an auto mechanic. I would highly recommend using Three Suns for auto service.

Wonderful experience here! Doug was very communicative throughout the whole process and explained in detail all of what he was doing and why--which I really appreciated as someone who isn't a "car person." I felt everything was transparent and very reasonably priced. Very satisfied with exceptional service.

If I could Could leave zero stars I would … My tire literally exploded on me today and I ended up in front of three sons auto they attempted to charge me $250 for One tire and an install. I asked him could I get a tire cheaper somewhere else and have them install it for maybe you’re cheaper price and they had the nerve to tell me they do not installed other peoples tires? So I had to have my father come all the way down here to assist me because three sons auto wanted to charge me $250 for a single tire do not come to this place they are operating a highway robbery shop they left me stranded with no help because I refuse to pay $250 for one tire do not come here they are thieves!!!

Three Suns has given me the best experience I’ve had to date with an auto shop. I felt comfortable throughout the whole process and Doug did a fantastic job of describing the issues with my vehicle. He is very knowledgeable, a genuinely good guy and would do anything for his customers. Highly recommended.

I took my car to Three Suns Auto Care today and had a great experience. I dropped my car off for an oil change and it was done in less than an hour. Doug and his employees do a great job and are honest/fair. This is definitely my new garage for my future auto needs!

First off, I was impressed by the clean & orderly workspace at Three Suns... it obvious that they pay attention to detail when you see a clean, organized work space. Second, the issues with my vehicle were explained to me in layman’s terms, which I appreciate since I am (obviously) not a mechanic. Lastly, even though there were a few concerns with my car, I was provided with tips to manage them and a timeline of when to expect the need to repair. At no point was I given a hard sell on getting the problems addressed immediately. I felt respected as a customer, even though I was not a big revenue source that day. Straight talk & honest dealing. I just had my car serviced and inspected with Three Suns Auto Care. The first time my car has been anywhere other than the dealership. My experience was wonderful. The waiting room was clean and comfortable. The work was completed in a timely manner, and the prices reasonably. My Toyota and I will definitely be back.

Had a top notch experience my first time at Three Suns Auto care. Doug was great at explaining the in and outs of what was wrong with the car as well as the options of moving forward. The Service was exceptional as well as the cost. In and out in one day. I would recommend this place with 5 stars as it’s rare to find a place that values both communication, trust and great customer service.

My first experience with an auto repair shop of such high quality! Very convenient location. They have a waiting room, but since It was a beautiful day, I chose to walk in the charming town of Media while my car was being serviced. Before I finished my walk, my car was completed! Very satisfied with the work that was done. I will definitely go back again in a few months when my state inspection is due.
