I came in for some paper maps and was helped immediately by a very kind, patient, and professional young man named Kevin. He showed me where the maps were, answered my questions, found my account, and made everything easy. Great experience!

I called to inquire about real ID services and I got a very rude customer service representative name James on the phone , I politely inquired and how he said it was " no AAAs do real ID service. ' so maybe you don't but you have penndot and again I was met not with courtesy but ignorance and arrogance. " No AAAS do real id" so you need to watch your tone because not everybody's 85 and ailing there James.

Been a customer since 2022. My battery had died and I got a new one through warranty on 2024. They gave me a bad and died battery. From summer to winter, from 2024 to 2026 I've been calling and calling because the battery keeps dying on me. Every technician would jump start the car and then run the battery quoting the battery is good and wouldn't give me new battery. The technician today told me that my battery is coming up dead and now since I'm out of warranty I need to pay 140$. I recalled aaa direct to speak with someone and he told that they can't do anything because warranty already expired. But they knew what they were doing. Horrible scammers and let not talk about them charging me 1200 to get my engine checked and not only did they did not check my engine. Their mechanic broke my cover to my door handle inside the driver door and they peeled off my back windshield heating system and put it back now horribly that I can barely see out my back window.

My car battery died 12/12/25. Called AAA to my parking lot, new battery installed for $250! Came out again 10 days later to dead battery. AAA called, adjustments made & battery jump-started. Came out a week later to a dead battery. Mechanic who came out -- Mushran? -- was professional, knowledgeable, and did a thorough assessment of the situation. He found and corrected a break in battery connections!!! The first two calls were a waste of my time, sitting in a freezing cold parking lot. Thank you to this wonderful mechanic who actually knew what he was doing!!!

Arrived Saturday at 8:30 to be told camera cardcservices are closed. Please also educate Employees on correct camera card services hours and to show some empathy when a customers time is wasted.

My wife and I walked in to handle auto tags, and the man sitting at the front desk wearing a yellow shirt was extremely rude and patronizing. He was sarcastic and acted as though we were ignorant about why we were there. We chose to ignore it. Another employee then directed us inside with the same tone and told us where to sit at the end of the hall, but his instructions were unclear and we misunderstood where he meant. Ultimately, we were unable to complete what we came in for and decided to leave. As we walked out, I clearly overheard the two men we dealt with talking and laughing about our entire encounter. Their behavior was unprofessional and disrespectful. Obviously not coming back.

I had a flat an hour away from home and had my car towed here. Three tires were replaced. I originally had four GM sensor valve caps on my tires, but after the service, only one remains on my vehicle. The other three original caps are missing. I’ve had this car for seven years and have always kept the original sensor caps, so having three go missing after this service is unacceptable. I purchased replacement sensor caps for $58 and change because the standard caps I bought initially did not fit—these require the proper GM sensor caps. Tire valve caps protect the valve from moisture and debris, which is important for tire safety and longevity. Considering I waited 24 hours for my car to even be seen due to it being forgotten, discovering missing parts afterwards only adds to the frustration. I’m not sure who removed the caps without replacing them, but they were not returned to me. If I bring my receipt for the replacement sensor caps, I expect to be reimbursed. I work two jobs and don’t have time for unnecessary issues like this. I’m thankful I don’t take what isn’t mine, and I expect the same integrity in return. I'm honestly surprised I still have my rims but someone stole my caps and if I'm not reimbursed for them I'm contacting corporate and reporting theft.

There for fingerprints. Have to admit hated the 45-60 minute wait but Robin who I worked with was phenomenal . Please know that you have a highly valuable employee who deserves an equally valued compensation that she’s entitled too yearly.

The AAA is nice, but the Photo Center manages to be WORSE than the actual DMV. Was 10th in line, waited an entire hour, and they helped no one. You'll spend less time going to another county's photo center.

Even though I wasn't able to get the service that I was looking for, the staff gave a lot of helpful information, answered questions, they were professional and patient. The customer service agent Alfred Smith went over and beyond providing details so that I wouldn't waste time and money on unnecessary transactions. He was also very informative about the services that AAA offers.

Very rude employee at check in desk, did not get his name but he was a heavyset bald man. As seen in the photo, pennsylvania state has there services open at 8:00am. When i walked in, he said that it doesnt open until 9am. I politely stated they should update it online, which he replied “oh it says it online” with an attitude. So then i said on the dmvs website it says 8, thats what i was referring too. He replied again “we’re not the dmv goodbye”. Im not sure where the hostility was warranted, but i just wanted to inform them that part of the hours online on the state website was wrong. I showed no aggression, no attitude, and always conduct myself in a nice and professional manner when speaking with employees of a business, so i dont understand why i was met with such an attitude

I should have read the reviews before I wasted my time making an appointment to get my oil change. Good thing is never went through with it and ended up leaving because as soon as I walked in, the older gentlemen at the front desk demonstrated his lack of customer service skills and gave me bad vibes. I wasn't going to leave my car with this guy and I certainly wasn't going to give him my business or hard earned money. I'm now reconsidering whether I actually need to be a AAA member at all.

Had a pretty bad experience with one of their employees that does title transfers. She texted while i was talking to her, even made a phone call towards the end of our conversation. Overall just very rude. Ill give the place 2 stars because the other employees were nice and the place is clean

I can't really blame the people who work in this place because it's triple. A, who doesn't train them correctmy experience was in to get my Driver's license picture card renewed. And I thought that the woman was helping me to do so, but instead she put me in line. To have to wait and I don't have time to wait. So if you want to deal with a system that is broken.Be my guest.I will not go back there again.Good luck

Worst experience of my life getting a four hour oil change the transparency could've been a little bit more clear up front. about the wait time. I was told a hour I waited around. I got there on time.my appointment was @ 1pm took 10 minutes just to check in & to make matters worst he took someone that was coming in the door as he was coming back to the front. Oh he answer the phone as well at this point trying to manage wasn't his thing at all. He Eventually checked me in. With my discount and stated give us a hour. 3pm I ask about The status of my vehicle at this point like the customer service was horrible. Nobody could give me Customer relations or anything that they refused to take a complaint at this location. I called customer service they said the complaint has to be done there the manager, Bruce baynes refused to take my complaint because he gave me a deal because I work for a company they get parts from. I also saw him and his team arguing over my vehicle & I ask is everything okay Because I don't want anybody angry working on my vehicle he stated that was between him and his guys. Do your self a favor DONT go to this location

Walked in and 4 people sitting at the counter ignored us. Finally got checked in. Waiting room smelled like menthols and exhaust. The service I eventually received was acceptable. I've had better experience at the actual DMV. Not sure I need my membership after this visit. I certainly won't go back.

I just had fingerprinting done at the AAA in Clifton Heights today at 10:40 AM. The lady who did my fingerprinting was extremely rude and unhelpful. She continued to tell me I was doing my fingerprinting wrong but wouldn’t help me as she continued talking to her coworker. My fingerprints failed but she said she was sending it through anyway because she has other people to take care of. I have been to other identogo locations and none of them were as unprofessional and rude as this lady.

First of all, their appointment system is terrible. I called the automotive department on a Thursday and they told me to bring in the car on Monday morning first thing. When I show up, the guy says that my appointment is actually Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. and that I would be a walk-in. The lady in front of me had made an appointment and they said that she didn't make an appointment and that she would have to also be a walk-in. I argued with the person for about 5 minutes that I did talk to the automotive department even though he kept telling me that I had talked to a call center. I told him repeatedly that I had talked to Elmo's department because I heard the shop and he said no. That's just the call center. If you call this place and press four and then two you get to the automotive department which is exactly what I did. He just kept telling me I was wrong. Customer service there was completely rude. At one point I waited almost 15 minutes without even anyone asking me if I've been helped. They didn't finish my state inspection and I had to take the car to a different place to get it completed because they were unable to complete it. I would never take a car here ever again or do business with AAA ever again. Completely unacceptable. I will never go here again.

I have been a AAA member since 1988 and have used their services for all types of things over the yrs. I have never encountered anyone as rude as the gentleman "greeting" customers as they entered this location. I understand not being able to accommodate a service, but the attitude was uncalled for. Instead of apologetically offering solutions, they offered a short, "sucks to suck" response to an issue that was only an issue bc a prior AAA rep gave inaccurate information. AAA needs to spend some time training their reps. These people are literally the face of the company. My experience today makes me question if my annual membership payment is worth it. After being disrespected by AAA, I took my business elsewhere, to a small business who offered the same service and treated me with respect. This Clifton Heights location has earned their 3 stars. My recommendation is to find another location, or better yet, support a small business.

I was greeted by a very sweet lady who was trying to help me regarding my camera card. The lady to the right of her interrupted our convo, was extremely rude, kept repeating herself without explaining & had no personal skills. I would never give an attitude to a customer the way in which this woman did.

Despite the long wait time, when the agent finally came over - he was beyond rude. Did not even bring us over to a desk to sit, kept us standing in the middle of the wait room. The agent was extremely rude and very condescending. Would not even look at the papers and documents to process a title transfer and just said “it’s not sufficient” and proceeded to not help us figure out the process. Even though we made sure we had all of the necessary paperwork prior to coming in. Will definitely never be back here for services, absolutely AWFUL customer service.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHOP!!! I Took my 2009 Honda Civic to Clifton Heights Pa location for a car inspection on 5/13/2024 . First time ever coming here, I came because I was told members get discounts for car services. After my car was look at, I was told by associate that I need numerous things repair . My inspection did not pass because I need major work in order to past inspection. I knew immediately it was a lie because I take good care of my car . I was told I needed back brakes, defroster repair, windshield wipers , control arm left and right, steering etc etc . Estimate total of repair work was $1670. My gut feelings inside was saying this can’t be true . So glad I follow my gut feeling. So the next day I took it to my local shop to get re- inspected. Guess what I PASSED. The guy who inspected my car said it’s nothing wrong with your car . They didn’t find not 1 thing wrong . My gut feelings was correct about AAA. Bunch of lies and scams. Either they like to take advantage of women or they trying to met there dollar quotas for the day. I will never , ever take my car to this place again. Not even for a oil change. It’s really a shame how you guys give customers false reports just to make money . I am also going to report you guys to BBB. After reading other reviews , it seems like you guys have repeat history of doing this for people who come on for inspection . You guys don’t even deserve 1 star. If I can give no stars I would but doing a reviewing it will not allow me to . So disappointed in your location . It so wrong to just take people hard working money knowing nothing isn’t wrong with the car.

I had come here a few weeks ago because I needed to get fingerprinted for a job and the service her was very quick, efficient and the people were also very friendly and helpful. Would definitely come back again in the future for any other services I may need.

A tale of two garages: THE GOOD: great phone intake, courteous mechanic rep (Casper or Kaspar); reps seemed pretty straightforward and professional. Replaced all 4 of my tires the next day and called to say my car was ready for pickup. THE BAD: such a poor processing setup that I wouldn't go back or recommend it. I walked into a big, almost-empty AAA center with three women staffing the welcome desk. There were multiple, other employees doing nothing at other desks. To make a long story short, the welcomers said that they couldn't swipe my credit card or give me my key; I had to work with Mark, who was about to begin intake with a customer whose car had been towed with a flat tire. Mark didn't even acknowledge my presence. After talking about tire replacement options with the only other customer in the entire place, Mark said that his mechanics would have to check whether they had a matching tire. Instead of just calling to one of them, Mark left the desk himself and was gone...and gone... and gone. After 10 more minutes of waiting I asked one of the three employees who were on their cell phones if one of them could just ring up my credit card and hand me my key. No, they couldn't do that, only Mark could. One of them told me that "patience is a virtue." How zen. I went back to the line and waited some more. Mark came back to the desk after 10-15 minutes and resumed his genial discussion of tire options with the person ahead of me. He still didn't acknowledge my presence until, after about 20 minutes total, I stared at him for so long that he looked up. He proceeded to hold my gaze and very slowly raise his index finger. The universal "one moment," signal, with a bit of passive aggression for good measure. When finally it was my turn, I very civilly mentioned to Mark that I'd been waiting for 30 minutes. He would have none of it. He was courteous at first, almost philosophical, but wouldn't acknowledge that there'd been a problem. I said, hey, you seem like a nice guy, maybe the problem is AAA's. Maybe they're not staffing enough people. I just wanted to know whether Mark agreed that there WAS a problem-- whether, if he'd been in my shoes, he would see it as business as usual, or whether he might think that someone else should have been taking my credit card. Should AAA create a different system? He just wouldn't address it. Starting to get a bit snide, he said, "it's a matter of having common sense, Ben. If I go into a restaurant and see that it's really busy, people zipping by all around me, I know in advance that I'm gonna be waiting and I don't mind." AHA, I said, but here it's NOT busy at ALL! You've had two customers for the past 30 minutes, and there were probably 5 other desk employees sitting around doing nothing! And 2 other mechanics stopped by the front desk during that time! He shook his head and said, "no one else here can do what I do." That was right before he had me swipe my credit card, sign my name, and handed me my key. Yes, surely no one else could do THOSE things. Then he denied my entire premise-- said I couldn't have been waiting for 30 minutes because he hadn't been away from his desk for that long. I said, Ah, but Mark, I texted someone 5 minutes after I came in to say that I'd been waiting, and and you can see the time stamp. 30 minutes total! He just pursed his lips and said, "well, let's get your things together and get you out of here, Ben." Then he said, voice dripping with sarcasm, "it's a busy day with a lot of things going on, and I'm sorry that that inconvenienced you, Ben." Again: one other customer in the place, and multiple employees sitting around doing nothing. But he wanted me to know it was the busy DAY that inconvenienced me. I feel badly about all this, b/c Casper was very courteous and professional when doing my intake, and Mark too was courteous and professional with the person ahead of me. AAA did the necessary work for me. They're just working in a terrible system. (And Mark could learn a thing or two about putting himself in someone else's shoes.)
