Made an appointment and I even called to confirm when I showed up they said it’s gonna be a two hour wait just to look at a tire

I use the Pep Boys in Broomall Pennsylvania. It was an outstanding experience. The service manager, Mike was very accommodating. My car was serviced immediately. It was an emergency tire repair. It was very reasonable cost. The inside waiting room is outstanding plenty of room to do work on your computer or simply sit and relax and watch television. I will come back here!

I Can’t believe the condition of my tires when I came in for air. I’m still shocked thank goodness for the lady’s at the desk for getting me in and changing my wheels. I will be back for my inspection in June!

I’ve made online reservations at Pep Boys in Broomall twice now, only to arrive and be told they were already full for the day. Staff explained the reservation system doesn’t actually guarantee a spot, which defeats the entire purpose and wasted my time after going out of my way to schedule ahead. The manager showed little concern and seemed dismissive, making the experience even more frustrating. To add insult to injury, I later received an email apologizing that I missed my appointment and asking if I wanted to reschedule, complete with a link back to the same meaningless reservation calendar.

Had a tire blow out on the highway this weekend.. They got me right in! I didn’t know that my tires were low on tread, no appointment received a full set of tires on sale! Great and fast service

If I could give a 0 star I would. I went and got 2 new back tires put on in the beginning of January. It is February 2nd and those tires have gone flat 3 separate times. I brought it in and they said the valve stem had a faulty gasket and the most recent flat, the valve stem was completely missing. I dont understand how this happens but there must be a lack of care by their technicians. You couldnt pay me to go back to pep boys ever again.

Go somewhere else… overpriced and took too long to service my car despite of setting an appointment

Very positive experience. 2 of my cars needed tire repair yesterday on New Year's day. Mikaela (may not be spelling correctly)and Jenn at the front desk were courteous, efficient and professional, and were able to get them both repaired quickly. I realize they haven't always had the best reputation at this location. But with the new more professional staff and the facility remodel, they seem to be trying to create a better customer experience.

My car’s battery died on Amazon fresh’s parking lot last night. Despite it being New Year’s Eve and that all the technicians were out already, the gentleman at the front desk was kind enough to step in and help me out. Really grateful for the help ❤️ You guys are amazing!

What an amazing service experience! From the courtesy and quick response to my questions, the cleanliness of the facility? waiting area and restroom, phenomenal staff, especially Jeremy, the availability of the tire that I really needed, the free inspection report….wow…I didn’t know that level of service was still being provided anywhere! Thank you so much PEP BOYS! You didn’t just start being wonderful… it’s in your DNA!

Don’t waste your time over priced and charge you $300 for $15 dollars worth of parts then tell you about a coupon that when you check out all of a sudden you can’t use they now called me to do a refund still hear the noise so my husband checked my truck out just to find the didn’t repair the stud the broke my caliper was not reconnected and my back brakes are bad I could have gotten into a accident because of there negligence

Online POS tried forcing an upsale instead of requested service. Had to drive in to purchase in person, but still have to come back again when the tire is in stock.

Set an appointment to get my brakes fixed. They were very unfriendly when I walked in. I work in customer service so I understand, but that was no way to act. They stated they did not have the pieces but would on Monday. Left my car over the weekend and did not get an update about my new appointment. Called and said they had no update with my car being there all day. Terrible service

Couldn't thank the crew enough, last minute need for 4 tires before a long holiday drive north, and they provided on the same day I called and on a Saturday! More than likely to return for other services. Thank you!

Had an appointment to get my tire fixed and I was with my elderly mother and the girl and boy helping us were extremely rude! My mother was understandably getting upset but she wasn't giving attitude and the boy goes "Don't get mad at me!" Terrible customer service and will NOT be returning any time soon unless your staff fixes their attitude! - And after all of that, I never even got my tire fixed, because I made the appointment and they said that it wasn't even there and they made us wait LONGER!!! Inexcusable and I will never return here.

Very professional, they had my replacement tire in stock and were able to schedule me for an appointment the next day! And was great price!

I was originally quoted with a price tag for a part that had me thinking I should just trade in my car. However the staff was able to shop around for something cheaper which was very much appreciated

The place has completely fallen apart with rude and unhelpful employees who don't know their job. Excessive overpriced parts and labor compared to what they used to be known for. Your better off going to a dealership or local mechanic. Terrible customer service! Go elsewhere!

If I could give zero stars, I would have given minus 1000!!! I have never had an experience like this!!! My car had a flat tire. I called Pep boys in Broomall, Pennsylvania to schedule an appointment and was told to go online to get one. The appointment was for today, September 2nd, at noon. I was at the appointment at ten minutes to noon to check in and give them the key of my car. At 1.10 PM, my car still hadn't even been looked at, so I went to the manager and asked him when the tire would be fixed and why they gave me a noon appointment if they couldn't do it. His response, with an attitude, was that's the way it goes. Maybe it goes for Pep boys, but not for companies with a professional ethic. Looking at him, I realized I couldn't trust him with my car. I told him to give my key and left. I believe this is the reason why Pep boys sold. In fact, customer reviews suggest significant dissatisfaction regarding provided service and overall work environment, with ratings that are poor compared to similarly sized companies. Today, I wasted 2 hours of my life!!!

Brought my car in for oil change and AC check to be fixed. Had to return 2 times for the AC issue after original appt bc what they “fixed”, didn’t fix the issue. When they did the oil change, they didn’t take the old sticker off and put the new one on, they just put it right next to the previous one. The next 2 times I was there for the AC, I asked Them to fix the stickers, first time, they didn’t do it, last time, they must have been mad so when I got in my SUV, all the seats were pushed forward or back, back seat was one down, one up and the 3rd row seat was flipped over. Also. The AC still wasn’t cold and making a noise. They are not professionals, I paid A lot of money for the services that weren’t fixed and to have my seats all over turned. Lazy workers and clearly unprofessional

Popped in briefly to see if they could throw in a new blinker light for me. Mike at the counter was extremely helpful, did it without hesitation, and taught me a thing or two about the battery and headlights. Thanks Mike.

I went to Broomall Pep Boys for a new battery and install this morning. I went, not even knowing if was possible, since it was a Sunday. I was greeted, and helped immediately by Nicholas. He looked at my battery, found a replacement in stock and rang me up. Smiling the entire time. He followed me to my car, installed the battery and was done in under 35 minutes!! Fantastic service, friendly, and efficient. I will be back, and I will look for Nicholas again. Could not be more satisfied.

I have been a customer of Broomall Pep Boys for over 20 years. My experience is usually great. Yesterday was one of those great experiences. I called the day before with an electrical issue. Spoke with Jen. She said they are booked tomorrow but she would squeeze me in. The team determined it was my battery. They installed a new battery, but didn't stop there. After installing a new battery they did an electrical system test and determined the alternator, starter, and voltage regulator were all ok. They cleaned the battery terminals and cables since there was a little corrosion and applied an anticorrosive spray to the battery terminals. Jen is an outstanding Service Advisor!! Mike, Service Manager, is outstanding as well and was able to provide an update throughout this process when I would call and when Jen was busy helping other customers.

I appreciate the work that was done, however one of the issues I brought my car in for was not addressed and is still occurring. I understand that sometimes it is busy and when you are shorthanded you may miss some opportunities for follow up[ with the customer, but when I am told that my Car will be ready on Tuesday and do not find out until I call (twice) on Tuesday evening that my car will not be ready until Wednesday is not a good way to keep customers happy and coming back.
