Was recommended to this shop by my father and not a great experience. Scheduled work to be done on Wednesday dropped off at 10 am was told it would be done in the afternoon and I would receive a call. Didn’t receive a call by 3pm so I called and they let me know they just took my car in the shop. So for 5 hours nothing was done. Seems like this place will put bigger jobs before smaller jobs if they have to. It makes sense for business but not ideal for quality customer service in my opinion. I’d recommend going somewhere where your scheduled time will be respected and honored.

brake line to caliper and control arm was the work I needed done I had the parts for them figured they would at least do the lug studs but turned out to be just a waste of time.
Their mechanics a bold faced liar, and they should be ashamed of "Service you can trust" line. And now 2 weeks later, they want to spin the story. Bob Newlin should be ashamed of himself, not only the mechanic that sold me the car, but the owner pp. NO "SERVICE YOU CAN TRUST" HERE
Me Newlin looked at my vehicle right away and fixed my car really fast I couldn’t get any answers from anyone for over a month and it finally broke he told me right away the problem and repaired it he did more than Kia would do for me
Newlin's auto service always contacts their customers to get repairs authorized. They give an estimate, explain why repairs are needed and ask what the customer wants repaired or if they want the repairs completed. No repairs are ever completed without a confirmation from the customer. If a customer can not afford the repair they are directed to companies that offer financial assistance.
They made an unauthorized repair to my car, tried to make me pay for it, then put the old part back on (it drove worse than it did before we brought it to them). Who knows how that part was handled, as it was taken off with the intent to replace. They are taking no responsibility for it, and had no protocols for confirming repairs to be done other than hearing an "OK" regardless of the context.
Update** Took my car down the road to another shop, and they fixed it for WAY LESS. Drives way better now!
They made my daughters first experience maintaining her vehicle a positive one. Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable, plus I feel like I walk away having learned something.
These gentlemen are very quick and professional. They diagnose the problem accurately and they are very thorough. If there is a problem, they will find it for you and fix it.
Last year, I took my car to a different company for inspection and this other place would have charged me over $600. I then took it to Newlin's instead, and they fixed all of my problems for $400, including pointing out one 'problem' that the other company made up to waste my money.
These guys are honest, hard-working, and never rip you off. All of the problems that they have fixed have stayed fixed. I will choose Newlin's every time.
they do very good work. I have a 1990 buick regal &bob worked on them back in the day. you cant take it anywhere to be worked on. ALSO VERY NICE PEOPLE. THANKS MIMI BOB & GARRISON.
