In February of 2024 Business made an unlawful and
unconstitutional tow of my 2018 BMW 428i xDrive M Sport
Convertible. Business Provided no paperwork
corresponding to such unlawful tow. Me, the Customer,
made a $200.00 (improper) cash payment for return of
vehicle. Business Provided no receipt for payment. Business
refuses to release the vehicle at all even after payment in
cash and claims extraordinary or astronomical
amounts/sums of towing or storage fees (in my humble and no professional opinion) contrary to the laws in the United States and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, specifically, 73 Pa CSA 201-1 Et seq.
(Pennsylvania Unfair Trade Practice Consumer Protection
Law); 73 Pa CSA 1971.1 Et seq. (Pennsylvania Towing and
Towing Storage Facility Act); Commonwealth of Pennsylvania General Assembly Bill Number 779; and West Mifflin Towing

The owner and the west mifflin police have a scheme running just like other reviews have stated. I was ordering my.own town truck and the police allowed the owner to go into my car and tow my car. They towed my car while I was receiving minor medical advice. He held my car for two days to accumulate fees, lied several times stating that my insurance company and I never called him, during those 2 days. He was extremely rude and inconsiderate to the fact that I have a physical disability. Originally he was attempting to leave my car open while it was on the lot. The police attempted several times police heavily encouraged me not to use AAA.
Keith is the best! He is extremely knowledgable and very accomodating when you need immediate help with a mechanical issue. Great mechanic and assures everything is done right the first time! I highly recommend him if you wamt the best service.

Kieth is a good dude, I was unfortunately in an airbags and all accident, a little shook up and he took care of the towing end efficiently and seamlessly. When insurance told me to clean out the car before moving the car to a total loss facility, getting access at his yard was as simple as ID proving ownership. Good experience under bad circumstances
I go here for usually tires but Keith is pretty good with pretty much whatever you throw at him. Full service shop great service great pricing great work. 10/10 would recommend.
To start off this place is very very sketchy and I highly advise anyone who thinks of going here to rethink their decision! I was recently involved in a car accident. The West Mifflin police came to assist with the accident. As I was about to be transported to the hospital via an ambulance, an officer gave me a towing company card and told me to call this number since they are gonna be the one towing the car. I thought nothing of it and later on called the number to which I was told the fee would be over $800 for not only coming out late at night to tow but also clean the street in which I thought was completely off. The guy told me that they’d charge extra everyday that it’s in their storage. $900!!! For a simple tow! I called the same day too so there was no extra day fee but Once I got to the place the dude tells me total is $998 to tow it back to my location. On top of that they ONLY ACCEPT CASH. This is not a legit business place!! I highly agree with other people who say that these guys and the West Mifflin cops are working together and split the money they make ripping people off. Absolutely disgusting! Stay far far away from this rusty place!!
Keith, you are dishonest and deceiving. When I got into an accident, the west mifflin police department called your company to tow my car away. My accident took place on a Friday evening, which by then your business was closed for the day. But I spoke to you on the lot, and you told me “since you can’t take it today, just come Monday and I won’t charge you any storage fees for the weekend.” So when I finally come Monday, you claim that isn’t what you said, and you still charged me for 4 days of storage on top of all your other ridiculous fees. You are a liar and a fraud. You/one of your employees also tried to tell me that my vehicle was totaled from the accident. That you would “take it off my hands” for free so I don’t have to deal with it. How kind of you. Considering my vehicle has already been completely restored since that accident, you were trying to deceive me. I see several accidents take place in the same area I got into my accident, and your tow trucks are always the first on scene. You and the West Mifflin police department are partnered. They made a deal where they’ll always call you as the tow guy when someone wrecks, so long as you give them a cut of the profit. Which is also why you make people pay absurd amounts of money in cash only so thats all under the table. Any legitimate business owner would accept a card. I’d be willing to bet you’re cheating on your taxes too. To think that you have a profile with the BBB, that’s why they don’t have you accredited. Hopefully you will do better in the future. And to anyone in a similar situation, I’m sorry that you’re probably reading this too late. But Keith has to change his ways
I have no idea what kind of mechanic this guy is cause I would not trust him to open the hood of my car. $390 for a 7 mile tow after we broke down in a busy intersection and AAA couldn’t get there as fast as him. Make sure if you get towed unwillingly by K&L auto you insist that you want it taken to your home or mechanic. They will charge you $75 per calendar day for storage. I was cut a break with one day when our car was there from 7pm to noon the next day, less than 24hours! I also called same night and was told they are closed at 3pm so no way to remove the car for day one anyway. Also, CASH ONLY! Shady!
Keith showed up to take my car on his flatbed and I was I was emptying my passenger seat. He was talking to my partner telling him that we needed to call in the morning and that he would work with us on price. I was super grateful. So we asked what that would be and he responded with around $250, $200. When I called the next day I got a busy message that wouldn’t let me leave a voicemail. I got through after calling again to get his partner who tells me that my car has been there for over two days and it wasn’t even 24 hours and almost $500!!!! I told him I need to speak with Keith and the timeframe doesn’t match let alone the price and I would like to get my car so please have him call me. He told me that he had an emergency with his daughter but said he would call me back. I totally understand as I am a business owner and mother. That Call came at the close of business day of course. The site says they’re open till 5 on Google and he told me 4 o’clock when he was calling me right before 4 just to tack on another day but when I was calling and had somebody available he would not cooperate and even as a business took out his daughters emergency on me just to charge more money. I called the next day and he refuses to tow the car anywhere. I was told I had to get my own tow company. I had my partner call since this man thinks I couldn’t hear from 5 feet away what simple instructions were being told to call the next morning and the price frame. My partner called from work in front of all of his business colleagues to hear nothing but excuse after excuse. Super smart attitude and if he can’t be there so I can pick my car up with the partners dispute on time and double the price Keith gave, I had to wait for him. With you having our possession we are following your instructions and we are fully capable adults of handling simple instructions. He said we misunderstood and we were supposed to call that night but since his emergencies in towing the car the next day he made sure he called me at the end of the day and then said no, I’m leaving! I told him the issue is that everyone’s at work until four and we would have to drive in from the city so we probably couldn’t get there until at least 5 or after so I don’t know how he goes from the day he puts my SUV on the flatbed saying his rate of $200, $250 and working with us would be that night when every day we’ve called he’s making sure he’s not willing to stay open even to the time he’s designating to google businesses. I could’ve been there by noon the first morning after him putting my truck on the flatbed but I couldn’t get through or leave a message and then his emergency he takes out on the customer. If we could’ve got the car that night I would’ve went right there and paid it but he plays games and that was never said until he disrupted me with his emergency. All he is doing is trying to take peoples valuables and keeping them for his own come up and then make himself unavailable. That isn’t working with people. It’s a con! Also being that this is the tow company I want to add that my partner asked for us to come pay if he would wait and if he could pay him to tow it somewhere else additionally which was a 10 minute drive and he said no to that too so you’re most certainly not doing anything but trying to keep my car. BBB
Stopped in on a cold messy day to get a small thing taken care of and after meeting the gentleman there I will definitely be back. Very kind. Very knowledgeable. He will definitely be my mechanic.
As with any automotive and towing company things are hectic with them especially with low staff and people not wanting to work so if anyone ever seems like they are impatient or come off with an attitude do not take it personal because these people worked with me and allowed me to get things out of my vehicle and other generosities that they didn't have to do so I recommend them for any need you may have the dude was really cool that was there even offered to help me take off my other Wheels which I did not do because of time restraints but he didn't even have to offer that so five stars it is.
They towed my son from a multi car accident didn't ask him were he wanted his car to go and then knowing he did not have full coverage hit him with a tow bill that was 900 Dollars on this bill there were some very questionable charges And then when he went to pay he was informed cash only which I'm believe that it they are not allowed to do that but they do it anyway because they don't wantyou to dispute the charge
I was recently just in an automobile accident, you don't ever think these types of things will happen. As a result my car was towed to K & L Automotive. Keith is such an amazing individual! He is a true caring person! He personally took the time out of his busy schedule to bring me my purse that was in my car from the accident! He truly shows care and pride in all that he does! He has been keeping me updated each time I called, and has just expressed such kindness and compassion during this process! Thank you Keith and K & L Automotive for all you have done for myself and everyone else! I hope that no one ever has to experience being in an accident or towed. If the unfortunate circumstances were to arrise I definitely would recommend trust and feel safe with Keith and K & L Automotive! Thank you again!
