I was calling everywhere during the recent snow day. Richard was kind enough to come all the way out to Beaverton to help me when no one else would! We couldn't find a shop that was open or reasonably priced so he took it to a shop that he recommended in Cornelius and they are working on it now!

Phenomenal service. My jeep broke down from a bad alternator south of Amity. I called after 8pm and the phone was answered immediately. We scheduled a tow for the morning. It was easy to set up, great pricing, very professional and friendly. Highly recommend using this tow service!

Recently purchased a new home with some property that needed to be mowed (grass was tall and using a brush hog). Got on the tractor and was going along and hit a big muddy hole and got stuck good. Rear wheels were sunk halfway down at least. Called Gales Creek Towing and they were able to come out quickly and were able to pull the tractor out with no issues, Price was very reasonable and the driver -Bubba was awesome. Would use them again in a heartbeatt for any towing or other issue they could help with. I highly recommend them!!!

This review is long overdue, but over the holidays I was in a REAL tough spot - parked out in the middle of nowhere near the Wilson River (& far from any town), no cell service, cold, after dark, all alone, and came to find out my car battery had died. Luckily some kind folks helped me get to a phone, & extra luckily I got in touch with Gales Creek Towing. Not only did they help me out of my bind, but they were in a position where they could've easily squeezed me for every cent - it's happened to me before - and basically they did the opposite. I was amazed companies like this still exist out there. These are good people! Would 100% recommend them to anyone.

Great service and friendly people. Ken gave me same-day towing from Portland to Tacoma with only 4 hours notice. He was a safe driver with great music!

Richard and his wife were behind us by 2 minutes when we were involved in an accident. They didn't hesitate to stop to help us They even waited with us until his tow truck arrived. Then, they took us to Prime Time Tavern to have a dry place to sit while we sorted put rental car and insurance. Just the nicest people ever!

Called them yesterday to set up a tow for this morning. Texted some pics of the van I was trying to tow and they gave me the best price compared to a few other places I called. Showed up right on time to my house and got the job done for the agreed upon price. Can't complain at all.

The food was good, however the waitstaff was terrible, had to wait forever to even get acknowledged and once I did, I had to get my own beer! Still, based on my experience locally - still five stars as the bar was not that high to begin with.

What an incredible service! We would be screwed without them as it was getting dark and chilly. We are from Seattle and my wife and I broke down near Hug Point with little to no reception and very few people even bothering to check in on us. This company was willing to drive to the shore, safely hook us up, and get our car to Portland. They were life savers. God bless this company and Stacey who is the best!!!!

I contact this company to inquire having a classic car towed. The driver was very professional. He spoke with me in depths about where to “grab” the vintage auto to ensure no damage to the classic suv. There rates to two the car was more then half of what several other tow companies quoted. I would recommend them to a friend and family as well as use them next time I need a classic auto towed.

Called them to come pick up a rental in my driveway. They took my name, number, address. Never showed up, never called me back. Ended up having Hillsboro Towing come out the next day.

Had a fuel emergency on the way to the coast. Called two places, Gales Creek Towing was nearly half the price of the other guy. Super friendly and arrived very quickly. Great experience overall.

This company could not find an address and claimed my car was not there. Waste of time. My insurance provider called them and they did not inform them they could not locate me. I am sitting in front of the exact address I provided them. They need to invest in a GPS system if they do not know the streets.

We were towing a RV with our truck on the back roads to Newberg from seaside, our truck tire stripped the lug nuts and I googled “towing forest grove”. He was there within 30 min and did an excellent job, great prices. He made our stressful scary day a lot better. Highly recommend

I would rate this company a-10 if I could. They were dispatched by ERS through American Family and never showed up. When I called them the guy said we canceled that dispatch. No they didn’t. Bad customer service!!!!!!!

Very happy with Gales Creek Towing. I broke down on Highway 47 at 8:30 P.M. on a Saturday night, called Gales Creek Towing, and Richard responded quickly, and towed my vehicle all the way back to Portland. I highly recommend Gales Creek Towing. I was in quite it a pickle, it was getting dark, and pretty far from home. I am glad Gales Creek Towing came to my rescue!

Richard and the guys at Gales Creek Towing went above and beyond for me. I had my truck stuck in a very difficult spot, but that did not stop them! They did alot of extra work to recover my rig. I really appreciate it! Very fair rates too! Thanks again

What a lifesaver Richard is! On our way back from coast pulling a 23 foot trailer and boat and one of the tires starts smoking on the trailer. I google the nearest tow company and it brings up Gales Creek Towing which has excellent reviews. I give a call and Richard answers. Mind you it’s 7pm on a Saturday. I explain situation and he says let me come and assess. Drives up in his personal vehicle and advises we can take tire off and get to our destination. He goes and pulls his wrench and jack and gets the tire off. He doesn’t expect anything in return. I have to say that it’s amazing he responded in this manner. Talk about class and integrity! There is a reason why this company is rated so highly. Thank you Richard!!!

If only I could leave a negative star! Horrible customer service. My insurance assigned this towing company to me when my car suddenly broke down on the side of the road and would not start. Waited the hour they told me it would take for them to arrive, only to have to call them 20 min after promised time and him to say he was 15-20 mins out. Had multiple friends with me and was told I would need to find other means of getting home as they could only take one person. No problem. Had a friend come get us and we left my car for pick up as they said I could do so since they were supposedly only 15 mins out. All I asked was that they let me know when they found and picked up my car. An hour passed and I called to see if they had found it, the guy has no idea and said he would call me back with a verdict. Another 30-40 mins passed and I was honestly getting concerned as my last towing experience was not a good one (car had things stolen from it and came back with front end damage) Decided to call again to ask if they had pick up car just to have the man be extremely rude and hang up on me. Not sure what is going on with my car yet, but apparently when it showed up to the shop, it started up and was driving. Good news for me even though I had spent multiple hours getting a few different rides from friends and uber to get home. Then to get an extremely condescending voice mail from this company saying " Thanks for wasting our time on a perfectly running car" Very disappointed I had to work with this company today. Please beware, if you decide to use them just know you may be a waste of their time, even though you are paying them for their service!

Thanks for bringing my motorcycle safely to my home from the place I had to leave it due to icy road conditions. I was worried about the bike but didn't have to worry long. You guys were able to bring it the very next morning without so much as a scuff mark on it. Great price too for such a long transport. Thanks so much for helping me out.

A HUGE THANK YOU !!!!!!!!! Had my car break down this afternoon ( in my driveway by the grace of God ). My State Farm roadside assistance sent out Gale's Creek Towing. In the midst of the worst rain storm of the season the truck shows up and the man driving it is more sorry that he's late than anything because of having to re-route around flooded roads. He promptly got my car going and gave me solid advice on what to do next. Grateful for the quick response time even during horrible weather and equally grateful for his insight on what to do next to correct the problem. I would recommend these folks if you need roadside help or towing.
