Stopped into the Forest Grove location for a battery replacement for my 2000 Toyota Tundra. Johnathan was knowledgeable and provided excellent service. He went above and beyond in replacing the battery. He identified a heavy corrosion build up on one of the terminals. Instead of just moving ahead, he took the time to clean the terminal to ensure a good connection with the battery. He had the battery swapped out in no time. While replacing the bracket that holds the battery in place, he lubed the nut to make for easier adjustment in the future. It was those attention to details that left an impression on me because he didn’t have to go to the extra effort, yet he did. I appreciate his level of service. He would not accept a tip either. He quickly resolved our issue in what likely would have taken me much more time to complete. I can assure you, I wouldn’t have been as thorough either. Thanks for the great service.
Walked out and went to AutoZone. It took the manager well over 25 minutes to accept someone's return. 2 other employees were heard in the back laughing and conversating, but weren't asked to come help. I spent close to 30 minutes in the store waiting. I was completely ignored the entire time with the manager lady trying her hardest to avoid eye contact.
Nathan the assistant manager helps me out with finding my warranty exchange and fixed it and was very willing to go out of his way to assist me and doing my alternator swap it was very kind all the way around this location is better than the Aloha location
Well I found it odd that I bought 4 jugs of antifreeze. Couldn't carry them all up to the counter so had to make 2 trips. And then wasn't offered any help out to my car with them. So once again had to make 2 trips. While leaving the back end of my car open. He stood there the whole time. No other customers for him to help. The other cashier was ringing someone else up.
These days, it is rare to be wow'ed by great service. However, Alexis at O'Reilly was absolutely delightful. He went out of his way to replace headlights and wiper blades, saving me a ton of time and hassle to not have to figure it out myself. I'll definitely be back!
This was my go to parts place. Today the counterman changed my mind. The part I wanted was something simple, an air filter. They had to order it, no big deal I’ll come back later. First he said the part would be here at 11:00 then when I came at 11:30 the part was no where to be found. To say I was livid would be an understatement. I was leaving for a business trip at 1:00 and they couldn’t get it reordered until 2:00. I went down the road to NAPA and they had it in stock WITHIN 15 minutes. I’ll take my business elsewhere thank you very much.
Excellent customer service. I needed a Diesel test kit they were able to order it for me to pick up in a few days.

The human at O’Reillys spotted me the $2.48 when my card came up short so I didn’t have to run and hunt for an ATM. Takes a good person too step up in time of need! much appreciated!!!!
I usually go to AutoZone since they, too, have great service. They were unable to help out tonight, but Nathan and Dakota came to the rescue. Very friendly and helpful. I'll be back.
I went to O'Reilly and asked for new spark plugs for my car. I was handed the spark plugs and guaranteed they were the correct ones. So I trusted them and put them in my engine. However, it turns out they gave me the wrong spark plugs. The plugs they gave me were too long. They hit and cracked a piston, effectively destroying my engine. And they claim there's no way that could have happened, despite giving me the wrong part.
As far as car parts and accessory shops go this is up there with the best... Pleasant and knowlagable staff, decent prices and they have a great selection of loaner tools if you need them.....would definately recommend.
I had the worst time trying to install a new windshield wiper and had even broken the first one. I had mentioned this to the gentleman ringing me up, I believe his name was Diego. Without hesitation he offered to put it on for me, even though the store was busy. After he helped me, I saw him installing a battery for another lady. The customer service was above and beyond. Someone needs to.give that guy a raise!
This store is my "go-to" place for oil and air filters. The staff is helpful and friendly, and most important, the store is close to home. One this occasion, I was there to pick up some fuel line, which they had.
Miguel was very helpful and I was treated with great customer service. Helped install new brake lights for me. Will be back again if I have any other issues.
Went in here a few days ago to replace a battery, the times that my husband and I go in auto places most of the staff treat us kind of like we're dumb just because we don't much about cars, they see my husband and expect him to know, Nicole in the forest grove location provided the best customer service I have ever seen ,she not only came out to help us replace our battery she treated us as customers rather then someone who should know what they're doing, I will continue to come back because of her! They always have what I need for a decent price. One thing they should work on though. Please stop being stereotypical/sexist towards women buying things for their car i.e. an oil filter and oil. Yes I know what I’m doing, no the oil is not too heavy, yes I am familiar with the products I chose because that’s what works for my car ☺️
The place was empty so service was quick. The prices were a little high for someone living on a fixed income like me. I don't think I will go out of my way next time. Auto part stores are all the same.
Good prices, employees either know their stuff or they will ask someone who does. They get the right parts across the counter, much better than the place across the street
These folks did an amazing job for me. Needed new wipers for my 91 Toyota van. Napa couldn't help me, their computers said my van didn't have wipers. Autozone was really no help either. Miguel at o reilly really went above and beyond. He found a quick and permanent fix. Cheap too. Miguel is a manager in training and shows great ability in customer service, trouble shooting and people skills. I will be back with all my auto needs. I'd give them ten stars.
