I heard lots of good things about Fox but every time I try to schedule an appointment he says he's got to look at his appointment calendar and says he'll call me right back and I never hear from him 3 times this happened. I'm not sure if this is something I should take personally or if it was just a fluke. kind of strange but I guess that's how it goes

I've been going to Fox Auto for roughly 8yrs now and have absolutely nothing negative to say about them. They always offer great costumer service and do their best to make their costumers happy with the service they get. Their honesty and great work ethic is out of this world. I recommend them to anyone who is looking for a mechanic. I look forward to many more good years of them taking care my viechles 👍

Can't say enough about these guys. Dave has went out of his way to help me out. Gave me solid advice on a project, & refused money that I insisted he take. So I SHOULD only give him 4 stars for being so hard headed. Highly recommended

I have been taking my Dodge Challenger RT there for years. Dave is always upfront and honest. Their prices are definitely comparable if not better than similar shops. They do fantastic work and keep you informed along the way. I very highly recommend Fox's Auto!

As less than perfect myself, these guys are a godsend. They do it all, cars, trucks, bikes! There’s been multiple occasions where they’ll drop what they’re doing and come out to checkout what I’m working on and give advice. On more than once occasion they’ve fixed a part on the fly for me or point out what I messed up on as I roll in after struggling for days to diagnose or repair myself and they’ll have me back on the road grinning in 20 minutes. These guys really deserve your praises and business.

Dave has been our man and friend for many years now. Sometimes communication can be interesting because they are busy and have a very large volume of repeat customers. They have maintained our rigs and restored a 64 f100 for us. Now he's getting ready to do a very big job for us. I know I can count on Dave. There's always room for improvement so 4 stars not 5.

We were driving though on a family road trip when our alternator went out. Fox’s quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed our truck without a long wait. They were fast, efficient, and friendly at a reasonable price. We highly recommend using them.

Great shop, great customer service and really worked with me to make sure I got my car back the same day. Bonus!! When they noticed the part the originally ordered arrived damaged they got a replacement shipped out same day from Portland and installed it, tested to make sure it ran and all buttoned up. They stayed past closing to make sure I could get my car back and my family mobile again. They did call me to update me once about the part and the 2 times I called close to closing they answered and said they were working on it diligently. They got it done. Awesome job to these guys and will go back next time I need work done to my baby. Edit: I cannot, seriously cannot, praise these guys and their work enough! Anyone who ask my recommendation for an auto repair shop, I tell them "go to Fox Auto. Honest shop, great work, they care about you and your vehicles."

Dropped off some small motorcycle tubes rims and tires here to be replaced. I went to les Schwab first and they were not very polite and told me that they would not replace them. I took them to fox’s after that and they got them replaced in less than 24 hours for a good price. Great employees and help.

I brought my late father's truck to fox auto who was recommended by my brother. I knew my truck needed work but wasn't sure how much. The owner evaluated it and called me personally. I had a budget I had to stick to and they absolutely nailed it!!! Not only were they incredibly respectful of my dads truck and memory but they went above and beyond. There was so much work I never asked them to do, that needed to be done that they just took care of. I cannot believe they were able to do so much work and stay in my budget. They communicated with me every step of they way and they made my truck reliable and fun to drive! I will forever be in their debt for such high quality work , professionalism, and amazing attitudes. They genuinely care about this project and I will never go anywhere else. THANK YOU!!!! I can now drive my dads classic truck with confidence, knowing she will start every time. Thank you so very much, my dad would be proud.

Dave and his crew are the best mechanics and nicest guys ever! I will never take my rigs including ATV anywhere else (especially dealerships!). Prices are great but most important I totally trust Fox’s!

Dave is a good guy! We brought him in a car my husband and I were considering buying. Dave checked the car out thoroughly and it was our decision not to purchase the car based on his expertise and knowledge of the vehicle. We left there knowing we had made the best investment in bringing our car to him.

Fox's Auto Repair is a great place to take your car. The guys are knowledgeable and reasonable. If they don't know how to fix a problem, the research it and then either do it or suggest a place that can. They're willing to work with you on time frames and cost, within reason. They also offer a financing option where you can get a credit thing if you need help paying off a repair. The shop owner and his son are the only two I've ever worked with and they're both just absolutely wonderful to talk to. They're willing to answer any question and explain why/how something works. I've had my transmission, brakes, oil change, and a couple other repairs done on my car and we've had a few other repairs done on our pick up and every single experience has been one I brag about to my friends and family. Even my mother who insists on taking her car to the dealership every time, made an exception and took her car to Fox's. Definitely a business I support and will continue to support.

I have a tight schedule and Fox's got the job done a day early and within $10 of the original quote. Luckily I was close enough that he came and picked me up when my truck was finished. They did a great job in a timely fashion.

I trust Dave and his mechanics completely. They have taken care of my vehicles and many of my family members for 20 years. He's honest, and doesn't over charge. If anything, he's been cheaper than other places.

I wanted to thank the staff at fox auto repair for their help and honesty. I live in Idaho and my daughter moved to Salem recently to attend college. Her car broke down and had to be towed to a shop. I started calling around looking for a shop to send it to. Fox auto repair came up a couple times so I took a chance and it paid off. They maid the process easy, and the price was inline with the repair. They treated us with respect and and were extremely helpful. Being 13 hrs away you are at the mercy of the mechanic and they didn’t take advantage of that. I would recommend them and will do any future business with them.

The best price I could find for having my starter replaced. When my car wouldn't start a few days later he DROVE UP TO TUALATIN and fixed my car where it was parked while I was working...no extra charge. These guys deserve more than 5 stars for doing something like that and I'd use them again in a heartbeat.

This is another place that helped us out when our car was overheating on the way to Lincoln City Oregon. The people there we're mindful of our problem and did their best to correct it as we were intending to continue our drive. Fast and friendly and knowledgeable and got us back on our way in a very timely manner. Thank you Fox Auto repair! Extremely rude staff. Whoever works the front desk has given me the worst service any customer can ask for. Every time I call they act burdened and are very quick to hang up. I do not recommend them to anyone who wants their car fixed. They told me they use certified used parts and won’t install anything new. The only time they were nice to me was when I told them my grandmother came here three times. If I could give them zero stars I would. I won’t even go to their shop because of their customer service. The guy at the desk sounded very inexperienced as I told him about the cars issues and kept telling me he didn’t know what I was talking about and asked me to come in and have it looked at also stating what I said was wrong and their mechanic knows better than I do. I do not trust these people with my vehicle.

They charged me a hundred bucks for a new battery, which I had already just replaced a few months ago. They said the battery was dead and needed replaced. Yes, it did, but it was brand new and still under warranty. The added cost to my bill was unnecessary, and super unprofessional that they did not catch this. I would not recommend this place to others. After talking to them about this obvious mess up they were unwilling to correct the problem by giving back my old battery so I could get it exchanged for a new one. Nope, unprofessional all the way, and altogether uncool!!! Seriously guys, lame!

Honest mechanics! I've been going to these guys for a few years now. They've fixed everything from a broken wire to a full transmission rebuild. They've had plenty of opportunity to tell me it was a bigger job and charge me more but, they didn't. They're quick on repairs and super nice guys to do business with. I won't take my car anywhere else.

Posting for my mother, since it won't let her. She says she's won't take her cars any where else. These guys are fast, fair with price and up front with problems. Had car towed in last night around 5, got a call this morning around 9 saying problem was found, around 12:30 it was ready to go....at the price quoted. Like their new location too, much easier and bigger.
