These folks are fantastic. Had a tire blow out on my 27 foot travel trailer and called road side assistance. The first company assigned to me never showed. Ended up stuck overnight out on the highway as my roadside assistance place worked through the issue. Sherwood was the next company assigned to me and they were just wonderful. Arrived exactly when they said they would, coordinated with my reception issues for phone calls as I was in a low service area, came up with a solution to how to tow my trailer that my own roadside assistance company hadn't offered, just... above and beyond thinking that was so very much appreciated. 10/10 would highly recommend

Ok, long story, but I'm so impressed that I have to post it. I left Winchester Bay at 10pm. We were headed back to Eugene after spending the day at the coast. I had our jeep on the trailer and was cruising down the road. I felt the dreaded "flat trailer tire" and rolled down the window just to be sure... oh yeah one of them was definitely flat and rapidly falling apart. I pulled over as soon as I could find a decent spot. I got out and looked, not only one, but BOTH trailer tires on the passenger side were toast. Of course this was going to be an issue as I only had one spare. So I went to work getting the jeep off the trailer and fixing what I could to get our family home. At this point I had the spare on and was planning to have my wife drive the truck back with our sleeping kids, and me drive the jeep since we still had one bad tire. Well, just then Matt stops by to offer his assistance. He sees that I'm in need of another spare. He thinks he's got one and heads back to his shop to verify. About 15min later he's back with a wheel/tire that'll work. He puts the spare on the trailer while I air up the tires on the jeep, then I load the jeep back on the trailer and he helps tie it down. After we get everything secured I ask to pay him for his help and he doesn't even want it. I'm adamant about paying him, and chose to pay him more than he finally asks for (he was far to generous with his price)... and even when we finally settle on a price, he runs my card for less... He tells me he just likes to help people when he sees them in trouble. He's got the right mindstate, that's for sure. From my experience he's definitely a guy who's there to help when he can see that it's needed. He was extremely helpful and he made it possible for me to get my family off the road and back home. I am grateful for his help and showing some appreciation here is the least I can do. Thank you Matthew

My car died out on Hwy 126. I got a ride into town, and brought the keys with me. Matthew was so great to stop by my ofice and pick up the key from me and deliver my broken car to Tony's Garage. Easy-breezy and what a nice guy! Thanks Matthew! I will definitely use your service again. Oh wait...I'm calling you now! :)

We locked our keys in our truck and this guy showed up in about 15 minutes and popped lock in about 20 seconds! He was super friendly and knew what he was doing. Excellent experience! This is is your guy! Thank you again Matthew!!

On our way home from an incredible camping trip, my van broke down just outside of Florence. I just happen to have a local auto service where I wanted to take my van, and he recommended Matt at Sherwood Towing. Matt told me it'd be about a half-hour, but he was there in 20 minutes. He had me delivered very quickly, which required some tricks I've never seen used before, as I have a large long van. Matt really handled the job beautifully, professionally, and for such a fair price that when he gave me the bill I though there was something missing! I could not recommend Matt and Sherwood Towing any more than I do! Thankyou very kindly Sir!!

My experience with this business was fantastic! I live in Eugene but commonly travel to and stay in Florence for work. The other night I left work and my car wouldn't start. I was able to jump it and drive to where I was staying in Florence for the evening. But the next morning it wouldn't start again and jumping didn't work, so I started making arrangements to have it towed to a local shop. After another towing company inexplicably tried to charge me $700 to tow the car 6 miles, I was connected to Sherwood Like A Tow. The driver was extremely professional, and rather than just tow the car, asked me a few questions about what had happened and then suggested that we try jumping it again using his equipment. Voila! It worked! I was still nervous about trying to drive it all the way back to Eugene that evening, so he suggested a local shop that was still open where I could have a few more diagnostics run on the battery, and then offered to follow me in the tow truck to the shop to make sure I got there without any problems. Ultimately I was able to make it back to Eugene that night without further problems. Very professional, competent and caring service. I cannot recommend highly enough!

Slightly difficult to arrange a pickup time due to the business being busy, but for a small fee, Matt helped me load my Jeep onto my friend's trailer and gave us some tow straps free of charge because we had forgotten to bring ours. Overall not a bad experience. Will be contacting in the future for assistance.

Really impressed by the honesty and integrity of this company. I had some documentation issues that weren't my fault, despite having submitted the proper forms with the DMV when I sold my car last year. Sherwood Like A Tow was understanding and helped sort it out. I would highly recommend using this company if you need a tow and want to have somebody you can trust.

These guys have saved my hiney more than once!! They are completely awesome. Show up. Help you get going if possible. If not they put you on the hook. Will not leave you stranded. I think very highly of this business and recommend them to anyone needing auto assistance in the Florence area.

I called my insurance company because we needed a tow for our 4x4 pickup that had a full flatbed trailer connected behind it. My insurance contacted Sherwood Like A Tow. Matthew contacted me right away. I explained our situation; he double-checked he could accommodate all of our needs, and he arrived faster than the original ETA. Once he arrived, he also provided additional useful advice about how to manage our additional stay in Florence.

My friend and I slid into a ditch Saturday during the epic snowstorm in Troutdale. Matt arrived in just over a hour to assist. He analyzed our situation and easily placed his truck to wench us out. Very impressed with his professionalism and friendly manner. I highly recommend Matt and Sherwood Like a Tow!

SO awesome! This young man is a GEM! I was visiting Florence, came out of the restaurant to a flat tire. I called my insurance & they said, they wouldn't pay to fix it, only change it. I had just bought my car, less than 2 weeks ago & discovered right then, that it had no spare or donut. This kind Gentleman, showed up, put my car on his slide back, took my car to Les Schwab & put my key safely in the dropbox. He billed my insurance & the next morning when I got a taxi & went to Les Schwab, my tire was fixed for free. I paid nothing for the whole ordeal. If I ever get stranded, where my car needs help & Sherwood is available to call, they will be the only place I call. Thank goodness, he came highly recommended, by some Florence locals, who came out of the restaurant & saw me stranded. I would've never met such a kind soul as he. So, please, give him your business, you'll be more than blessed.

I see many people are happy with these guys and I'm sure they do their best most of the time. My experience over 3 incidents was much less positive. Their drivers to have a political attitude that is clearly rude. Very unprofessional. It's a shame hatred has spread to someone who was in danger and a danger to other drivers and needed help. Extremely unacceptable.

I want to say thank you to Mathew. I don't know if he is the owner or a supervisor, but he really made a difference in my family's life today. I am glad my insurance called you after our first tow, because I walked out of this with a different feeling. There was some miscommunication & some poor judgement on both sides, but when our large family was stranded after being towed (in what should have been an easy problem for us to realize was the wrong direction, I don't completely blame the driver as I apparently wasn't thinking clearly in the heat either), Mathew called me personally after my insurance contacted them for the second tow & really helped us more than I would have ever expected. We spent almost 8 hours total with everything & my kids went through a lot & I walked almost 5 miles today that I probably shouldn't have, but I am so impressed by Mathew's courtesy, professionalism, & helpfulness when our family was truly in a frustrating situation. He is not just some guy I don't know on the other end of a phone at a towing company, he is a human being who truly cared about us. Thank you Mathew & Sherwood Like A Tow.

They are absolutely amazing! Our vehicle broke down in Oregon on valenties day, aaa had called multiple companies, and they were the only ones that would come pick us up. Jon from there was a great guy! We got towed from newport, or to centralia, wa that night. Would definitely recommend these guys!

I was going on vacation and had a breakdown off 101 . The driver(Joe) had me to the mechanic and to my motel room inside of an hour and even helped me with my bags . I'm pretty sure that I have just had my best tow truck experience in my life.

I blew out a tire in Yachats recently. Matt was there in less than an hour, towed me all the way back to Portland and did it with a friendly demeanor, kind attitude and at a price that didn't break the bank. Absolutely the best possible experience I could have had in an otherwise terrible situation. If you ever find yourself in similar straits, I highly recommend that you call Matt Sherwood!

Matt is awesome! He came out to help me when I got my heavy Ford F-250 stuck in the sand. He was there within 20 minutes and got the truck right out. Also, he was the cheapest price in town by over $100!

So glad our towing service sent Sherwood Like a Tow. The very courteous and pleasant young man arrived promptly, explained how he was going to get our car onto his truck and was very careful and detail oriented in his work, Definitely recommend!

We got stuck, like REALLY stuck, in the sand dunes with a 3/4 ton Chevy. Three people tried helping us out with no luck. Tried calling a different towing company and they weren't working so we called Sherwood and he not only was prepared to help, he drove home to get his personal truck and came out to help. He was super knowledgeable and very nice and his Forerunner pulled us straight out. ALSO at this point we were up to the frame in sand. He gave us an extremely reasonable price and I would call him right away anytime I needed help in the area.

I got my truck stuck to the frame and this guy went home, got his personal vehicle and came out to save me at 4pm on a Saturday. His rate was MORE than reasonable given the circumstances. Thank you Sir for salvaging our weekend.

I highly recommend Sherwood towing to any stuck or broke down vehicle, whether on or off the road.Very professional, knew exactly what he was doing to keep my vehicle from being damaged any further. Broke an axle up in the mountains and matt knew the area well enough to know exactly where I was at. Picked me up first thing in the morning and even was nice enough to give my girlfriend a ride to the airport. Great guy, great service

Matt has been there to save my butt with my truck alot recently and his customer service skills are awesome. Is there when he tell you he will be there!!! The amount he charges is well below what other tow companies in this town charge and that is awesome. Definitely will be referring him to anyone who may be in need of a tow from now on!
