Waited two weeks for the part which I ordered from Josh which turned out to be wrong now I've been waiting since the 15th of December for my money back which I was told I would have back before Christmas and still nothing. I owned Big Lews towing and recovery in NC delt with plenty of junk yards and never had this type of issue. I would never ever refer anyone to B and R Auto Wrecking and I will never purchase anything from them again. L Wagner

I have placed a call to the management and see that they have responded to my review. I am awaiting their call at the moment to see what happened or what can be done I feel it only fair to allow them to try to reconcile the situation. I will update the review and let them have a chance to contact me to see why the situation arose that did. Following is a brief summary of the issue at hand I spoke with several people in the eugene location I was informed that there was a distributor for my vehicle but was located in corvallis or Albany I looked online and made an offer on their make an offer option spoke with the person in Eugene who told me yes they would accept that offer it was late in the day and I drove from Eugene to albany where the make an offer was accepted online. I arrived at the location( 60 miles) from me where it showed online and I was told they had two of the parts available in albany, when I arrived there I was told no they didn't have them and I would have to go to Corvallis. Again it was late in the day and I had only 25 minutes until they closed to make it to Corvallis to pick up the part the person in albany never offered to inform the corvallis store i was on my way or get up off his chair atthe couinter. When I arrived in Corvallis i was told that yes they do have them and that it would be $50 informed him of the make an offer and that I spoke with someone in Eugene who said that it would be accepted he then stated well I'll have to pull it and I said no it's supposed to be on the Shelf he looked and said okay yes it is and he said but it was $50. I explained that i made an offer on web site and spoke with someone in eugene who verified 40 was enough andthats all i had on me i had to spend the others on gas the person seemed reluctant but then said as they were going thru back to look just befor they say just so you know sometimes they're missing. Standing there until after closing time 5pm they returned and said "we don't have them" I said why would they do that why would they send me clear to Albany and then to Corvallis only for them not to have it He was i thought overly adamant aboutconvioncing me he wasn't trying to deceive me that he they really weren't there, he then turned the screen towards me and said well it's showing that they have five of them in albany. I told him the employee didnt tell me that and sent me to corvallis and even get out of his chair at the counter ...So it was too late in the day all locations were closed , Then i hadworry about it the vehicle still sitting where it was and try to deal with thanksgiving and thru the several days it was really a problem and was a unwanted distraction and inconvience but i know things can happen im not try to sound petty i still had a good dinner and visit with friends and family just not as much as i would have planned . so now I called the management of the Eugene location i was told by an automated cust serv i would recieve call back from and also in the response to this post management would call i am awaaiting that call at this moment it has been about a half hour and I am still waiting for the call BACK

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ B & R Auto Wrecking in Eugene gave me an excellent experience. The staff were friendly and professional, and when it came time to pick up my car, the tow truck driver was polite, kind, and very accommodating, even with my tricky driveway. They offered a fair price, and I like knowing my car’s parts will keep other vehicles rolling around Oregon. Great customer service all around!

Won’t be back. $5 just to get in. Then, they don’t even apply it towards the parts you purchase. It’s none refundable even if they don’t have the parts you need. You have to wait in line to check in and it takes forever because of their process which could literally take one minute but instead takes twenty! Same with checking out. So my hour before they closed turned into, you got a half hour. Oh geez thanks! . On top of that it’s totally disorganized. Cars models are scattered everywhere and there number system lacks proper layout. Garbage and oil everywhere!

Just went to get a tailgate handle for my truck. with the charges to get in just to walk in the yard and pull my own part.The part ended up costing as much as it would brand new. I highly recommend not going to B&R anymore and going to any other auto wrecker. Since when did everyone try taking people as fools

Honestly, I can't say enough good things about this place. To keep it short, my mom got in a bad car accident and B&R were the impound company. I called Jim after it happened and he literally helped walk me through the entire process of getting the hold released and how to come in and reclaim it. He gave us a bunch of options on how we wanted to go about it and gave us a deal as well when we decided the car was a total loss. He also helped us figure out the paperwork we needed from the dmv to transfer ownership. Honestly, the crash (and fallout) was a pretty traumatic experience and I was exhausted and stressed to the max. Jim made it really easy to handle and took so much weight off of my shoulders so I can focus on helping my mom recover from the whole ordeal. Can't say thank you enough Jim, you are awesome!

After not getting my call returned twice a few days later I got ahold of someone to be told they don't have the most common part available even though a parts search I did showed them having it for less than $200.00 I was told that they could not get it and if they could it would be just shy of $1000.00

Very pleased with the parts selection across their multiple sites as well as with the setup of the website. Ordering parts was straightforward. I was even more impressed with the level of service and the communication. There was a shipping issue that was not B&R's fault, but they responded immediately and worked with me to quickly resolve it. Highly recommended and will be working with B&R again.

Their new phone system is horrible. I've called 3 days in a row. Asked to get a call back never did. Stayed in the line the 2nd time and then the call ended. 3rd time opted to get a text that never happened. Unfortunately seems like it's time to tale my business else where. When you need something there's no time yo play this waiting game hoping you'll now get a call back or won't be disconnected. I hope they read all these reviews and get rid of that dang AI phone recorder and start having HUMANS answer the phone again.

Inventory is well kept finding vehicles seems like it would be a struggle but as long as you follow the map and the numbers that are written down , it's pretty painless

Their new automated AI phone system is the most infuriating thing I’ve had to deal with. When I do finally get a call back from someone it’s a office person in another state that can’t help me more than looking at the website that I’m looking at I just want a human being at the actual location to tell me if a vehicle is actually still there so I don’t waste my entire day off driving over there to find out it got crushed the day before Ask me how I know!!! They systems are not up to date Now I can’t even call and verify Guess I’ll spend my money elsewhere

They NEVER EVER EVER EVER answer their phones no matter what location you call and when you go to the physical location they tell you their phones never ring Edit to add: they called back and proceeded to hang up on me after I answered the phone without saying anything. Do better B&R

I recently ordered rear seats from B&R and picked them up at their Henderson location - but didn't realize I didn't have all the parts needed for installation in my current vehicle. Luckily for me, Blain and Michael went above and beyond to help me sort out my issue, going as far as coordinating between Eugene and Gilbert locations to find the vehicle my seats came out of and source the pieces I needed. Within a few minutes of my phone call they had my issue resolved, and were incredibly professional, patient, knowledgeable and quick. Outstanding service, so I'll be happy to bring my business back.

RUDE!!! We were just treated very rudely by some young lady who works here. Here's the story: This was the first time my son has ever been to a wrecking yard and he was very excited to see what he could find. We wanted to check things out and then see if we could find a small turbo he could repurpose for a project he is working on. Innocent enough, right? We walk in and are greeted by a nice man behind the counter and he explains they are about to close but will gladly allow us to peruse the yard for a bit - no problem, we just needed a few minutes anyway. We head out and are poking around having fun looking at the inventory and are out there for about 15 minutes then begin heading back in to leave - way before the 5 o'clock closing time, because we wanted to be considerate of their time, especially since it was a Friday afternoon (it was about 4:25, actually). The area where the turbos are kept was closed anyway, no big deal. On our way back, however, a young lady, phone to her ear, comes out and loudly yells at us that we are not suppose to be there. I calmly explain that we are allowed, and in fact have the green cards we were given upon entry to prove we paid and do indeed belong there. She wasn't having it and continued yelling at us to leave. So we did. And the moral of the story is that we will never return. And I suggest to you all to either buy your part new, or find a much better yard to visit where their customers are actually valued. This place will never get another dime of my money.

B and r auto wrecking gets 5 stars from me. I’m used to corporate pick a part which has horrible customer service and I was pleasantly surprised that b and r lets you remove the parts yourself. Staff is very friendly and I will go there again when I need a part. Selection seems really good.

I am trying to get a part for my 2003 Toyota forerunner and they are stationed in Eugene and I am an hour away so I’d like to call first before I go there and I tried calling and they will not pick up the phone no matter what. I picked all options each time waiting 20 minutes and no answer. I’m still trying to get my part

Was shipped the wrong engine and it arrived Friday, Spence from B & R was assigned to help. He was able to locate the right engine, schedule mine to be picked up and it was all made right without me paying any shipping. I appreciate him working so quick and keeping me updated through the whole process. He has great customer service.

Update 1/20/25 $5 to go into the yard be prepared with proper shoes and five bucks or you won't get in. Danielle is still awesome. Always smiling and very good customer service. The other staff is equally trained. I'd highly recommend the guys and gals down at the Eugene location because they are very good at what they do. Thanks Danielle!! Called B&R in need of a late model GM Duramax Diesel. Had hunted all over the states & Canada looking for what I needed. Got shipped the wrong engine from a wrecker in California that wasted weeks of my time. I got ahold of Mitchell @ B&R Eugene who gave me a very fair price on a low miles model. Unfortunately some of the high dollar injection system was damaged when I took delivery of the Engine. Mitchell made it right on the parts I needed to make the engine functional for operation. Thanks again B&R for helping me coordinate this costly repair of my Duramax.

*Edit* Michael reached out to me shorty after writing my review to offer to find replacements or offer a partial refund to make things right, which was super cool. He didn’t try to make excuses, he knew it was an issue and fixed it professionally and very quickly. He seems very eager to make issues like this not happen in the future Ordered a set of front and rear seats, with an “A” part rating, online for my VW and picked them up from this location. When I arrived to get them, they were completely covered in black plastic wrap, so I just loaded them up and drive back home to Coos Bay. Once I pulled them out of the wrap, they were wet and had some mold. I cleaned them up and started installing them until I realized they cut all the wires going to the seat, including the side airbag wiring. It would have taken an extra minute to unplug the harnesses, but they decided to cut them instead, making these seats almost useless. For an “A” part rating, I’d assume they’d be complete with an intact harness. In order to use these seats, I’m gonna have to strip them down to the frame and reinstall everything onto my old seat frames without damaged wiring. A simple seat swap has become much more involved than I thought it’d be
