Used them for a few years and spent alot of money with this outfit. I'm completely dissatisfied with thier warranty and accountability on a brand new engine I purchased from them and had them install.

These guys are great and very HONEST. I've had my car in twice now. And they fixed it up. My car now needs a front transmission coolant pump. They don't work on transmissions but referred me to Macs Transmissions. Will try them out.
Boomer always takes great care of my vehicle. They have even given a ride back into town after dropping off a vehicle and are fantastic in communicating updates on vehicles as well as providing information so even those that know little about engines can make an educated decision in their vehicle repairs and be aware of what's being fixed.

Good work. The guy at front, Chris is very friendly and professional. I took in my car and they fixed it the same day. They also have two dogs in the office, who are also very friendly!
Nice guys. Didn't have any work done just towed truck there after a wreck. Truck ended up totaled. But I would probably try them if needed because they were pretty professional when I met with them a few times.
I brought my car in to have the steering shaft serviced and they told me I need a new steering shaft which isn't what I'm going to complain about I'm thankful that they could figure it out, but when they took the bottom part of my dash off they just shoved all the wires and stuff back in and now my electric rear view mirror doesn't work and a ground wire wasn't reconnected and my vehicles tracking device was basically just thrown back in? I'm not mad I just want it all put back the way it was when I brought the vehicle in.
I highly recommend Chris and his mechanic. They took care of my wife's car and my truck. Very reasonable prices and they kept me informed during the whole process! Thanks again guys!!!

they were really good, i’ve been struggling to find a mechanic shop to just tell me what’s wrong with the car and what to do. these guys told me everything i needed to know about my car and what needs to be fixed or if it’s even worth my time. they offered to give me referrals to shops that specializes in my JDM car so i could have a better opportunity getting more knowledge about it. these guys are super honest and good people and won’t try to steal your money. by far the best place to go get anything done and will use them with any other car. 10/10!
Boomer auto repair is awesome. I have been using them for 5 years. Chris at the front is very knowledgeable about vehicles and auto related questions. They are good people they know what they are doing and reasonably priced even when prices are going higher

Knowledgeable, fair, fast, friendly. Seriously these folks know their business and do amazing work. I've been using them for years and they've always done a great job of giving me accurate quotes and getting my car back to me on time. Trustworthy and dependable, give them a visit!
I took my diesel truck in to be repaired and asked them if they were knowledgeable enough on diesels to fix it. I was assured that they could fix the issue and that the amount quoted to me would fix the problem. When I went to pick up the truck, it was doing the exact same thing it was doing before. So I left it there for them to figure out the issue. It took them several more days to look at it and numerous phone calls before they finally told me that it was beyond their expertise and I needed to take it to a professional Diesel Mechanic. The professional Diesel Mechanic told me the issue had nothing to do with the fuel pump that boomers replaced, and that I did not need to have that done.
I confronted boomers on this and they assured me that the part they had replaced needed to be done anyways. They also said that when the specialist did the service he needed to do, that he was going to have replace the fuel pump anyways because it was standard operating procedure for that type of work. So I called the specialist and he said that is absolutely not true. He did not have to replace the pump to do the other service. I explained to him how much pressure boomer said the pump was producing, and that’s why it had to be replaced. The specialist then said that was normal operation for the pump on that truck. Boomers also told me the pump was not pumping enough fuel to even keep the truck running, and yet it ran fine once the truck was started. Getting it started was the issue, not keeping it running. I was also told different numbers every time I asked questions about it.
The tech that ran the pressures on my truck said he ran them because he didn’t trust the other tech to touch “his gauge”. Yet that other tech is the one who did the work on my truck. That doesn’t exactly give me a good feeling either.
Bought a used high mileage truck and dropped it off with them to do an inspection. They called me back 3 days later with a list of what needed to be done. I gave the go ahead to do all repairs and we agreed it would be around 1500. I got called 2 days later to pick up my truck. They only fixed the tie rods, why they didn't fix everything else has me stumped. Now I have to make time to drop it off at another mechanic to finish the work. I'm not sure they have all the resources to a lot of repairs but I would have liked to known when I dropped it off.
Can't say enough good! My son was driving alone when the motor blew near Boomer's - we are from out of state, so I had it towed there. Their mechanic immediately looked at it and confirmed the grim diagnosis. They made sure my son had a ride into town to a hotel room, offered their personal cell numbers, kept in contact with me, and arranged to have the car salvaged, then mailed me a check. It's so nice to know there are people like at Boomer's out there - they stepped in and made a bad experience much better for both my son and myself!
I just love Boomer Auto. Since my car has been sick muliple times the past couple of years, I consider these men my good ole buddies. Chris is so good at his job and multitasks like a beast! He calls in parts, researches online and scans the binder on his desk all at once. Larry is the nicest person you will meet and cares about his customers. The mechanics are GM certified technicians and you can feel assured your car will be back on the road and repaired correctly.
Went in explain what's wrong with my Cadillac and they fixed it. Very friendly people. Reasonable prices. I'll be back soon and will recommend them to anyone who needs their car fix go too boomers
Larry has been working on my vehicles for 10 plus years. I won’t go anywhere else bc I trust what Boomer Auto does. I am never concerned about the price for the work bc he has treated me right every time. Chris has always shown top notch customer service and I have always been taken well care of every time. If you have your auto repaired just keep in mind that the labor will be higher them you think. Their work isn't Good and the labor is very expensive. Still having problems out of the car.
Great guys here, very honest and reliable. Brought my car in with a check engine light. They found that it was exhaust related, but rather than just replace what the code said to replace, they cleared the code and gave it a thorough test drive. When the light never came back on, they called, let me know what they found, and recommended driving it for a while to see if it came back (it never has). When I picked up my car and was preparing to pay, they said no charge. Even after I insisted, they still said no charge. After a previous terrible experience with the Ford Dealer in town, it was great to deal with someone I can trust. You guys have a customer for life and I'll recommend Boomer Auto to everyone I know!!
They put the air filter in backwards. I don't know how but they damaged the radiator. The owner said he made the mechanic pay for it out of his own pocket. I suppose that is why they did not replace all the bolts and mounting brackets on the radiator and cut the fan shroud in two pieces so it was barely staying in place. They didn't put the turbo air pipe back on correctly resulting in it blowing off two different times within a few days of their "repair". They overfilled the antifreeze and 16 ounces had to be syphoned off. The oil filter housing was not put on correctly. They charged me to adjust an idle that can't be adjusted. I was telling someone about the idle being adjusted and a mechanic was standing at the counter nearby when I told them that Boomer Auto had adjusted the idle. He said that a 6.0 liter diesel engine does not have an adjustable idle. I showed them the receipt that indicated that Boomer had adjusted the idle. He shook his head and said “no. can’t be done”. ( I googled it and he was right.). Their "repairs" cost me over $2000 to get fixed at another shop. And the warranty they talk tell about "Technet" is just about worthless. It didn't cover the parts they cut, damaged or left off--like bolts and brackets. So beware.
Me and my wife Rhonda have had 3 vehicles repaired in the last 3 years at Boomer. Larry and his team have always treated us fair and fast. Larry is a very honest man and takes pride in his work and shop. If you have a vehicle in need of repair, give Larry and his team a try. You won't be disappointed.
We pulled in on vacation with a bad starter on our truck. Boomer got us in and fixed up fast and professionally. Special thanks to Larry and his great crew. Need more of these kinds of businesses that keep this country great!
