I've been to this MET location many times and I am always grateful for the way it is set up. It has all the same services as the other MET locations in Tulsa, so it has the same utility in a no frills, bare bones budget physical plant.
However, the Claremore location is different. Not on the surface mind you, but after you've been to a few of the other places and then Claremore, it's one of those situations where some subtle differences make a noticeable improvement to the overall experience.
Really cool place!!! We just moved here from Colorado and they have nothing like this there and you have to pay to dump just about anything. The staff is really helpful and friendly!!! ??
These guys really helped me out! I was locked out of a really old steel filing cabinet and after a day of trying to pick the lock myself I call them and they made me a key within 10 minutes! It worked perfectly! Thank you guys!
Great resource for the Claremore area! My fiancée and I use it constantly, sorting out recyclables carefully to be brought here. It is a nonprofit that pays for workers with disabilities to provide them with employment opportunities. The workers very kindly go through the plastic recycling and make sure everything is sorted properly. There are recycling places where they end up throwing a large amount of recyclable materials into landfills, but that doesn’t happen here. I wish more people were aware of and used this place, as it is an excellent resource and a good experience to come here.
They have recycling for:

Plastic
Glass
Paper (several different kinds)
Cardboard
Steel
Aluminum
Make sure to read all labels carefully to make sure you are putting in the right things! Also it is open all times of day and night so people can utilize the recycling center.
They need to be able to secure the location when it’s closed to keep people from dumping trash, furniture etc there. Also they need fliers to pass out informing people what IS recyclable. People use their dumpsters for personal trash. Nice to have them here, terrible that people abuse it.
