I brought in old copper gas pipes from my home, and they said could only take 34lbs of my scrap since I'm not a licensed plumber/electrician. Makes sense. So I have come back another day I guess. They quickly weighed the material and provided cash. Staff service was helpful. Would recommend.
I have been to almost all oks scrapyards and I recommend this scrap yard to others all the time. I absolutely love that you don’t have to worry about running over debris and getting a flat bcuz they have the cleanest parking lot. It’s a small yard but they pay pretty good.
I always come here to recycle my cans because it's the closest. Came on Monday at 115p and business hours are mon through Friday 8a to 3p and they weren't open. I wasted so much gas getting here to discover they are closed during normal business hours. It's not even a holiday.
Went here yesterday with #1 bright copper and some brass. Called beforehand to get prices and was told $3.30 for copper and $2.00 for brass. Got there less than an hour later and was givin what I was told for the copper, but for some reason only got $1.00 for the brass. I get that prices vary throughout the day but I find it unlikely that brass dropped by half in that short a time?
It was my first time there thay did not haggle me or looking through my scrap trying to find a problem to low ball me. Thay are quick and now there scrap . a good price All be back tks
Place ain't to bad.. maybe not the highest price paid for ur metal.. but they don't waste ur time.. they do it!! Btw.. don't go to that place on sw 20 and Penn, they suck..
I really like this place. You can clean your metal right in the yard but be respectful and clean up your mess cause the keep a pretty clean place. They also probably have the best prices in town. I recommend this place over all others in OKC.
The place would get a 5-star if it was a little easier to figure out the protocol as a first-timer - it would be great to see a little more information on their website. It's pretty straightforward, though. Don't bother with the office, just bring your stuff around to the right side of the building. They'll weigh it & hand you a receipt - very efficient.
I've been there several times now to recycle lead-acid batteries from UPS units I can't throw away, and I'll be back if I need to again.
