I wish I could give Purcell Auto 10 stars! We had a couple of cars that we got new tires on, an F-350 long bed dually and a Dodge Grand Caravan. Took the truck in first. At the end of the day when I picked it up I was told that the tires were straight and no work needed to be done. I was charged a much lower inspection fee since they checked all of the connections and everything in the front end. The same thing happened with the Grand Caravan. I was told that all four wheels were almost perfectly true and once again I was charged a much lower inspection fee since they didn't have to do any work on it. When is the last time you heard of a business, especially an automotive repair business, with such integrity, honesty and morals? We literally will never take our cars anywhere else but Purcell Auto from now on. Super great experience!
Great placed treated me like family there were closing and still helped me could’ve left me stranded I was on the way to Dallas from okc wouldn’t have made it without them basically did it for little to nothing felt like I was his nephew!!!!! Got me back on the road in 25 minutes
I’ve used this place in the past and always had a great experience. Which is why for the last 5 years I’ve been a returning customer. Sadly the sadly may most recent experience has proved to me that once you make a name and get that city *fleet* contract, your loyal customers no longer matter.
I scheduled an appointment to drop my car off to be diagnosed on December 28th 2023. After 2 weeks we called, he was so busy with cruisers to diagnose. Another 2 weeks, same thing. We went to the shop so we could check the progress in person on February 18th. He told us the problem, how much it would be and asked if we wanted to move forward. We said yes. He told us 3-6 weeks for parts but that once the parts came in he would set the appointment and my car would be the priority. We called May 1st-ish after yet again receiving zero updates on my car since we went up there to let him know we had the money and would be able to pay him anytime 5/9-5/15. He satted he had the parts and would have it ready then. Today. 5/10 I have my husband call, not gonna lie I was really hoping it was done so I could have my car back 6 months after I dropped it off… Nope! Fleet strikes again… An ambulance needs a new engine that’s gonna take most of the week next week so maybe the week after. I’m over it. I will be calling him on Monday and making arrangements to have my car towed someplace else. 134 days and now add 14 more. We have borrowed cars from family, we’ve rented cars and at this point I have 5 grand for work that hasn’t been done and no car. It’s costing me money and I’m done. Looking for someplace new.
I was driving to OKC from Dallas when my car started malfunctioning on I35. I’m so happy I found this place! Robby helped me calm down, took a look at my car, and walked me through the issue and how he was going to fix it. They worked fast too! I was in and out within 45 minutes. Prices were really reasonable and he gave me clear instructions for when I got home. If it weren’t for Robby and his team, I would’ve been stranded during a holiday weekend.
I’m over the fleet maintenance for our department. Robbie and his crew go above and beyond to keep all our patrol units on the streets in top mechanical condition. Fast and Fair.. These guys are great..
They are professional and took care of us in an emergency, was a little higher than it would have cost to get it done at home where I would have done it myself but they get a 4 out of 5 stars because everyone has room for improvement
On my way from Denton, TX to Des Moines, IA my car started to lose power and began running terribly. I limped into Purcell on an early Sunday morning after Thanksgiving. Obviously, there were not repair shops open. Monday AM I started calling around and finally landed on Elliot's. I explained my situation to Robbie and he said he'd "move stuff around". Rolled in to his shop around 8:45AM and he had me out 40 minutes later. I was stranded in Purcell and Robbie came thru for me. He was just plain AWESOME. The repair was fairly simple: bad plug & coil. He charged me $127. Couldn't be happier or more grateful.
Worst experience I have ever had! Brought my car in to have the left tire looked at because it was making a loud noise like a wheel bearing was going out. They didn’t replace the wheel bearing they replaced the breaks and brake pads and fixed the alignment on the car and told me that it was driving fine got back in my car to the same noise was coming from the left side was told that he didn’t drive it fast enough to find the problem.
Here's a shout to the team at Elliott's Automotive. Did what they said they were going to do when they said they were going to do it! Highly recommend them for any automotive work, especially diesel.
Not a place that will rip you off. They are quick and professional. They get you in and out. They are the best that we have seen thus far. Thanks for the work that you have done for us. They place emergency vehicles ahead of all others, but that just shows their professionalism and that's what makes them all the more better
Took my car to 2 other mechanics. The car was in the mechanics for half a year. I had enough and took it here. Took him 1 day to fix all the issues. Professional, and a good price. Highly recommend taking your vehicle here.
I brought my 99 oldsmobile in earlier today, the water pump needed replaced, the price was reasonable & I'm back on the road, definitely worth 5 stars.
Halfway thru a road trip from KC to Austin, my van’s check engine lights came on. I took the first exit available which serendipitously led me to Purcell Automotive. Robbie tended to us immediately, checked the sensors, identified a minor issue and reset the sensors, and had us back on our way within about ten minutes of pulling off the freeway. He was courteous, kind and resourceful. Really, he was an angel. Thank you!!!
