I'm guessing they classify everything as tin. Had my son take a load of engine blocks, semi transmissions, differentials all cut up that is normally classified as short iron. I have done this many times with borg compressed steel and it was classified as short iron. Figured we would give them a try with this load and they classified it as tin. Grant it we hauled a load of tin to them this past week and it was infact all tin. Tried calling to discuss with them but they didn't answer their phone. Be sure to check your scale ticket if you sort your steel and tin. This happened on 12/23/24. I think they need to get someone who knows the difference in materials by looking at the scrap.
Closed the gate right in front of me to 20 minutes before closing. I would understand 5 minutes maybe even 10, but 20 minutes before closing. I won't be back.
If a business is gonna close early the least they can do is have a working number, I'm all for takin off early or maybe they didnt open at all but not if it's a business where people may be counting on ya.
