No issues. Direction were easy to follow not sure about the pay out. I haven't done this in years. Old freezer with copper paid 10 bucks and change which I was ok with just not sure on the breakdown. Didn't look at the receipt either 😆 So again that's my bad. It probably has a breakdown.

Have had problems with lazy employees and poor communication here. Brought in scrap plenty of time before closing (over an hour, no line) and had to unload by hand (engine blocks, wire, and some other large cast pieces that we loaded with a tractor) because they wouldn't lift it out of the truck. Mind you none of this info is posted anywhere, and we had to interpret sign language to figure out they weren't going to unload it. I won't be coming back. I reviewed before with quite a bit of detail, but they've hidden my review, I suspect because they can't even address the problem and there is no sense in beating a dead horse. If you want to be treated professionally, don't expect it here.

Stopped by one afternoon to drop off two trucks with two trailers of scrap steel. One truck also had the bed full of heavier scrap. We were about an hour and fifteen minutes before last truck in and had no one in front of us. Scaled up, pulled in, and got the first trailer unloaded no problem, 2 minutes tops. First truck had the scrap in the bed. Engine blocks, tangled wire, all sorts of heavy/difficult stuff to manually unload. Claw guy gets out and we ask if he can tell magnet guy to grab stuff in the bed. He points to the other side of the place where the magnet guy is. We pull up and go to the guy with the magnet and tell him we need the bed unloaded and he motions us to the side. After waiting a bit he just sits there and then he drives off unloading people behind us. We go and ask if we are in the right place. He tells us we have to unload it ourselves because hes not doing it due to risk of getting sued for damaging the truck which is a joke because we took a junker, they have camera photos of it coming in, and said we'd sign a waiver. But whatever, we just want to move on, so we start unloading, which is slow because its heavy and a tangled up mess and there is alot. After we've been there for around 30 minutes he comes over and starts throwing a fit saying we're holding up business and we are in the way (where he told us to go) I told him if he'd grab our stuff with the magnet we will be on the way but this load has to be unloaded first and if we need to move somewhere else we will. He refuses any option but us leaving and gets out of his magnet grapple and walks to the front after telling us it's time to go home and he doesn't get overtime (its 15 minutes until close still) we finish unloading with about 5 minutes to spare (that's after weigh out) and go in the front to cash out. They ask if we are the people who were causing the hold up and mouthing the employees (we were out of the line in another part of the yard where they told us to go, unloading by ourself until they approached us?). We weren't causing a hold up, plenty of traffic went after us and the exit path they motioned people to take did not even go by us. There are plenty of scrap yards around who won't treat you like you owe them, and in fact would love your business, this is not one of them. Maybe instead of being worried about going home early, the employees should worry about keeping the doors open. Seems like a lot of people have had similar issues with this place. Edited today because they have hidden my review on Google to boost their numbers.

I have used them for the last time. I called in advance to make sure they would take a camper. It was a camper that someone dumped on my property. They said they would but might have to deduct some weight from it. I spent 2 hours getn it rd worthy. Drove over to drop it off and they said they can't take it. So i called into the office again and the lady told me she could probably take it and it is up to the opperator. I reminded her of our first conversation and she just said well its up to the operator. At this point i just asked her to take it for free and she said no. Lol. I will never go back. Ill drive to the next closest one.

Terribly rude kids work here. Refused to answer any questions. Other recycling shops had no problem assisting me. Won't get my business. Apparently others had the same problem.

Stopped by there on Monday (July 25, 2022) To scrap some mixed metals and iron. I admit we arrived 15 minutes prior to the posted closing time. We were greeted by 2 sneering employees standing near the gate. As we proceeded to find a place to put the metal, since it was obviously not in the job description to work the entire posted hours of operation, one of stellar employees starts towards us as we begin to unload. I then made the massive error of mentioning that it would have been helpful to have the information as we pulled in. This set off a tirade of cussing and hand gestures that, had it not been so degrading, showed him to be a master of the Art. He was able to convey the desired location for the metal, but made it no closer than 100 feet, which I guarantee was the best business decision he will make this month. Since I do have the ability to empathize, we made haste and unloaded half of the scrap and left. I have had far many more bad experiences at this business than good and and will never darken their doorway again.

Worse business in Ardmore. They cheap you out of your metal that cost you more than what you get back. My dad used to work there and he said it was a terrible job too. They should just go out of business already

Would not recommend to anyone. Was treated very very disrespectful. Was taking cans off for an elderly man. They were not will to assist with removing from my pickup truck. Then had to empty in 3different Places and then the man poured dirt on my hands while I was sorting the can as he asked. I have never been disrespected like this before I tried to explain that I was doing this for an elderly man but he told me that I would have to go clean all the cans and then bring them back later. When I went inside to inform the manager and was asked for the ticket then give my money and said thank. Very very rude place of business
