First time there we get told were to go get paid and weighs didn't add up said we had 600 pounds when we knew what are wright's was before going say the scales or off or they are taking
I was there today . Rudest experience ever. There was a truck driver screaming at everyone. The woman in office told me I needed to listen to her because I couldn’t hear her. I’ve had hearing loss issues for years. They are buy far the worst business I’ve ever dealt with. Please take your business elsewhere. The woman in the scale house needs fired.
I called before going there as I had several boxes of sorted metal (copper, stainless steel, brass, and mixed metal) from my father’s metal shop. I arrived at 11:50 and was told to come back later as it was too close to lunch. Had to stand on scale to ask questions. Was told to move off scale as a truck was waiting. Questions were not answered. No help offered. Left and took my metal to Parkersburg.
We've been going to Guernsey for years .... never again. Guess they're under new ownership/management and plan to run their yard like scam artists. Spent more on fuel than a completely full 12' dump trailer paid out. Yeah never again lol.
The scales are definitely wrong here. The lady in the front is very rude. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I would highly recommend Bills Savage in Marietta on Pierce Rd. Honest guys over there compared to the scamming bums here.
I will be there today date is may25 2023.. my car will be running a camera pointed at the scales. I also tabbed the prices of scrap today.. if I’m ripped off it will be on camera..and blasted on social media.. idk if what’s being said is true but we are going to find out update: the employees where grate the lady’s where buzzy they where not rude and 80$ for a water tank 2 washers and a alternator yea I’m quiet happy update to 5stars
Only complaint I have about this place is that they don't ever clean the road off at thier entrance and everyone that goes there and their trucks coming out of there hauling junk metal pieces wire you name it. know what that gets you flat tires on your vehicle clean up the entrance so people will stop getting flats ever time they drive by thier entrance on rt 7
Great people that works there very friendly and will take to ya no matter who you are the ladies in the office are amazing ladies I would never take my junk anywhere else
I’ll never go there again women in the office was rude everyone I talked to was rude expect one person I got ripped off on the scale she said it didn’t get my weight when I sat there for 2 minutes and clearly saw my weight on the thing so she said I couldn’t be paid for my stuff tried to talk to her about it but they were all rude
I thought I might give this place the benefit of the doubt after reading all of the Google reviews; & it was a horrible mistake. Everything that read about this place is true. YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR MONEYS WORTH, THEY WILL JIP YOU.
Their scales have to be off, the lady in the office is very rude and not helpful at all. The guys that work there are smart alecks, and you will definitely get ripped off every trip.
I've dealt with Geurnsey for years and have always been treated very good. there is a sign right beside the highway...has been there for years.....cant miss it.
America is a free country and any idiot can open a business. This place is a joke. I had never been there before today and couldn't find it. I called at 3:50 and asked directions. She told me that they are closed and they close at 4. I told the lady that i was right down the road I just couldn't find where they were at. She responded that "you guys always say that, we have been here all day and you could of come in anytime." I told her if they didn't want my business I would gladly go somewhere else. She told me that she didn't care and that they need to go home. I hope she was just having a bad day but there is no place for that when you are dealing with people. Ill never go back there again.
