The employees are dishonest and steal from you when they can.
I brought in about 50 lbs of crushed cans, they weighed it then they looked at each other suspiciously and got really quiet and said I was good to go without paying me. I knew something was wrong but I didn't care to argue with them so I left. As I was leaving they broke the silence and started laughing because they thought they tricked me so they could pocket the money. I am certain it was not a mistake.
The last comment was not from me.

Never again! Unprofessional... brought them 4 loads of scrap over the past week and they nit-pick the smallest things. I'm definitely going back to City Scrap in Akron... worth the extra drive for much better prices and they treat there customers MUCH better.
Explain to the guy that I had a automotive Repair company and that I Can provide proof of ownership as well as a EIN number and my license. I explained to him that I had more than one Catalytic converter to bring In which i didn't think there would be an issue whatsoever because I've never had a scrapyard tell me as a business owner with proof. that I'm only allowed to do one Catalytic converter a day. I have 4 cats that I have from customer vehicles after doing exhaust job. That means I would have to drive 1 cat a day, so 4 separate days in order to get them all taken care of. Mind you they were off of a Range Rovers and Mercedes vehicle and he proceeds to have the audacity to tell me he will give me $20 for them. Do not waste your time because you will regret it
Decent scrap yard. Decent iron prices. Will be back. Keep up the good sheet metal prices! Friendly workers.. in and out no problem unlike some other yards
I took my cans to Wall Street recycling right now they're giving $0.70 for aluminum I don't know if that was just for Eathday, the guys came out grabbed all my cans from the trunk, definitely helpful, I was in and out in less than 10 minutes
Worst prices in Ohio. On top of that they take lie on your weight and prices while your there. I'm going by experience from the dozen times I went there. Also the employees are lazy and 9 times out of ten they make you move the scrap . Watch your weight they will take from you and put your scrap in a lower bracket.
Nothing but positives, they have the best prices and the best customer service. The owner invited me in on a cold day for a cup of coffee while Iwas waiting for my scrap to process. Great company great people.
